LOCATIONOFTHEELLIPTICAL
Place the elliptical on a level surface. Thereshould be 6 feet of clearance
behind the elliptical, 3 feet on each side and one foot in front for the power
cord (See diagram to the right). Do not place the efliptical in any area that
will block any vent or air openings. The elliptical should not be located in a
garage, covered patio, near water or outdoors.

Yourelliptical offers a variety of foot positions. Movingyour foot to the forwardmost position of the foot pad
increasesyour stepheight, which willcreatea feelsimilar to a step machine.Placingyour foottoward theback
of thefoot pad decreasesyour stepheight andcreatesmoreof a gliding feel,similar toa smoothwalk orrun.
Yourelliptical also allowsyou to pedal bothforward and backwardsto offer a variation toyour workoutand to
