5If you have a LCD monitor with a specific slot for the receiver, it
is recommended that you place the receiver on the desk and
lower the monitor over it so that the receiver fits into the slot at
the foot of the monitor. The receiver cable should route through
the groove on the base of the monitor stand.
If you don’t have a LCD monitor with a specific slot for the
receiver, then you can place the receiver beside your PC or
monitor. In this case make sure that the receiver is eight inches
or twenty centimeters away from any other electrical devices.
The mouse and keyboard should now be able to communicate
with the receiver. If this is not the case refer to
“Troubleshooting” on page 10 for information on how to use the
connect buttons to establish communication.
6Shut down your PC.
7Remove the existing keyboard and mouse if necessary.
8Restart your PC. On restarting your PC press F2 or F8 and F2
depending on the model of your PC to enter the BIOS setup and
check that your cordless keyboard works.

Troubleshooting
Electrical Noise Limitations
In a multi-user environment, there is a risk that your receiver will
receive radio signals from other keyboards or mice. Your receiver
will ignore these signals as they don’t have the proper ID. However,
these signals can create a lot of noise and may stop your receiver
from communicating with it’s own keyboard and mouse.
To solve this problem, simply move your receiver closer to it’s
keyboard and mouse
