Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Das/die Gerät/e ist/sind ausschließlich zum Schneiden von Polystyrol-Hartschaum, wie
Fassaden-Dämmplatten, Dachdämmplatten oder Kellerdämmplatten bestimmt.
Sicherheitshinweise
Die Sicherheitshinweise sind unbedingt zu beachten!
• Dieses Gerat kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und darüber sowie von Personen
mit verringerten physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen Fähigkeiten oder
Mangel an Erfahrung und Wissen benutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt
oder bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes unterwiesen wurden und
die daraus resultierenden Gefahren verstehen. Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem
Gerät spielen. Reinigung und Benutzer-Wartung dürfen nicht von Kindern ohne
Beaufsichtigung durchgeführt werden.
• Achten Sie darauf, dass die Netzanschlussleitung nicht mit Hitze, Öl oder
scharfen Kanten in Verbindung kommt. Beschädigte Anschlussleitungen
können Brände, Kurzschlüsse und elektrische Schläge verursachen.
• Wenn die Netzanschlussleitung dieses Gerätes beschädigt wird, muss sie
durch den Hersteller oder seinen Kundendienst oder eine ähnlich qualifizierte
Person ersetzt werden, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.
• Ein Brand kann entstehen, wenn mit dem Gerät nicht sorgsam umgegangen
wird. Die Schneidspitzen können Temperaturen bis ca. 500 °C erreichen.
Um Unfällen vorzubeugen, darf die Schneidspitze nach Drücken des Schalt-
hebels nicht berührt werden. Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht in einer explosions-
fähigen Atmosphäre, entfernen Sie vor der Benutzung alle brennbaren
Materialien/Flüssigkeiten.

• Vor der Verwendung das Gerat auf Beschädigungen und den ordnungsgemäßen
Sitz der Schneidspitze überprüfen. Bei Beschädigungen nicht verwenden und
den Kundendienst informieren.
• Aus Sicherheits- und Zulassungsgründen (CE) ist das eigenmächtige Umbauen
und/oder Verändern des Heissschneidegeräts nicht gestattet.
• Schützen Sie das Werkzeug vor Flüssigkeiten und Feuchtigkeit. Andernfalls
können Brände, Kurzschlüsse und elektrische Schläge verursacht werden.
• Während des Betriebs ist für ausreichende Belüftung zu sorgen. Achten Sie
darauf, dass keine gesundheitsschädlichen Dämpfe oder Gase eingeatmet
werden. Gegebenenfalls Schutzkleidung tragen.
• Die heiße Schneidspitze darf nicht mit hitzeempfindlichen oder brennbaren
Materialien sowie Haut, Haaren etc. in Verbindung gebracht werden.
• Das Gerät nicht unbeaufsichtigt lassen, solange es in Betrieb ist. Bei längeren
Arbeitsunterbrechungen ist das Gerät von der Spannungsquelle zu trennen.
• Nach Gebrauch das Werkzeug abkühlen lassen, bevor es weggepackt wird.
• Wenn das Gerät nicht benutzt wird, bewahren Sie es an einem sicheren Ort
und vor Staub und Feuchtigkeit geschützt auf.
• Nationale und internationale Sicherheits-, Gesundheits-, und Arbeitsschutz-
vorschriften sind zu beachten.
Inbetriebnahme
1. Die am Kopf des Gerätes befindlichen Klemmschrauben lösen.
2. Schneidspitze in die Buchsen stecken.
3. Klemmschrauben mit einem Schraubendreher gut anziehen.
4. Bevor Sie den Stecker in die Steckdose stecken, kontrollieren Sie die Angabe der
Anschluss-Spannung auf dem Typenschild.
5. Das Gerät wird durch Drücken des Schalthebels eingeschaltet. Nach einer Aufheizzeit
von 10 Sekunden ist die Schneidspitzentemperatur erreicht.
6. Die Reinigung der Schneidspitze ist mit einer Messingbürste im warmen Zustand
vorzunehmen.
7. Nach Beendigung der Schneidarbeit lassen Sie den Schalthebel los.
So einfach wird geschnitten
Beim Schneiden das Gerät ohne besonderen Druck gleichmäßig im Dämmstoff
führen, keine zu starke Kraft ausüben. Die Schnittgeschwindigkeit ist abhängig von
der Dämmstoffdicke.

Das Gerät ist nicht für Dauerbetrieb, sondern für Aussetzbetrieb bestimmt.
Die Betriebsperiode bei angemessenenen Wärmeableitbedingungen
beträgt 12s. Danach muss das Gerät für 48s abgeschaltet werden.
Entsorgung
Das Gerät darf nicht in den Hausmüll gelangen!
Ein unbrauchbares Gerät ist beim Handel, dem Hersteller oder den dafür
eingerichteten, kommunalen Rücknahmestellen zurückzugeben!
Garantie
Für dieses Heissschneidegerät erhalten Sie 1 Jahr Garantie ab Abnahme, die Schneid-
spitze ausgenommen. Unter diese Garantie fallen alle Mangel, die auf evtl. Material oder
Fabrikationsfehlern beruhen.
Die Garantie erlischt bei unsachgemäßer oder missbräuchlicher Behandlung. Bitte
benutzen Sie nur Original-Schneidspitzen von HSGM. Beim Einsatz anderer Fabrikate
erlischt jegliche Garantie.

Intended use
This device is exclusively for the cutting of polystyrene and hard foam, particularly those
type boards used for facades, roof insulation or cellar insulation.
Safety information
It is essential to heed the safety information!
• This device may be used by children aged 8 or over and by people with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they are supervised or have been given instruction regarding
the safe use of the appliance and understand the resulting hazards. Children
must not play with the appliance. Children may not carry out cleaning and
maintenance tasks unless they are supervised.
• Make sure that the power cord does not come into contact with heat, oil or
sharp edges. Damaged power cords can cause fires, short circuiting and
electric shocks.
• If the power cord of this device is damaged, to avoid danger it must be
replaced by the manufacturer or its customer service or by a similarly
qualified person.
• This appliance has a polarized plug (US-type: one blade is wider than the
other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit in a
polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse
the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify
the plug in any way.

• Failure to use the device with care may result in a fire. Cutting blades can
reach temperatures of up to 500°C. To prevent accidents, the cutting blade
must not be touched after the trigger has been pressed. Do not use the device
in a potentially explosive atmosphere, remove all flammable materials/liquids
before use, use a heat-resistant work surface and keep your working area clean.
• Before use, inspect the device for damage and check that the cutting blade is
firmly in place in the correct position. If damaged, do not use; contact custom-
er service.
• For reasons of safety and licensing (CE), the unauthorised modification and/or
alteration of the heat cutting machine is not permitted.
• Protect the tool from liquids and moisture, as these can cause fires, short
circuiting and electric shocks.
• Ensure there is adequate ventilation during operation. Take care that no harm-
ful fumes or gases are inhaled. Wear protective clothing where necessary.
• The hot cutting blade must not be brought into contact with heat-sensitive or
flammable materials or with skin, hair etc.
• Do not leave the device unsupervised while it is operating. During longer work
interruptions, the device should be disconnected from the power supply.
• After use, allow the tool to cool down before putting it away.
• When the device is not in use, store it in a safe place and protect it from dust
and moisture.
• National and international occupational health and safety provisions must be
observed.
Commissioning
1. Unscrew the binding screws.
2. Insert the cutting blade.
3. Tighten binding screws again carefully.
4. Before you plug in the tool, check the voltage which is indicated on the label.
5. When you press down the switch the cutting blade heats up. After about 6-8 secs. the
suitable cutting temperature is received.
6. The blade may be cleaned with a metal brush while it is still warm.

The device is not intended for continuous use, but for intermittent
operation. The operating period under suitable heat dissipation
conditions is 12s. The device must then be turned off for 48s.
Disposal
The device itself must not be disposed in household refuse!
An unusable device must be returned to the supplier, the manufacturer or an
official disposal body/institution equipped for this purpose.
Guarantee
You have 1 year’s warranty on this heat cutting machine following acceptance; the war-
ranty does not include the cutting blade. This warranty covers all defects that result from
possible material or production faults.
The warranty shall be invalidated in the case of improper use or misuse. Please only use
original cutting blades from HSGM. All warranty entitlements shall be invalidated if other
brands are used.

Les pointes de coupe peuvent atteindre des températures de jusqu’à 500°C.

un support de travail pouvant résister à des températures élevées et maintenez
votre zone de travail propre.
• Avant d’utiliser l’appareil, contrôler si l’appareil présente des endommagements
et si la pointe de coupe est bien en place. Ne pas utiliser en cas d’endomma-
gements et le signaler au service après-vente.
• Pour des raisons de sécurité et d’homologation (CE), il n’est pas permis de
transformer et/ou de modifier de propre chef l’outil de coupe à chaud.
• Protégez l’outil des liquides et de l‘humidité. Sans cette précaution, des
incendies, courts-circuits et chocs électriques peuvent survenir.
• Veillez à assurer une aération suffisante pendant le service. Veillez à ce
qu’aucune vapeur ou gaz nocif ne soit inhalé. Portez des vêtements de
protection si nécessaire.
• La pointe de coupe très chaude ne doit pas entrer en contact avec des maté-
riaux sensibles à la chaleur ou combustibles et avec la peau, les cheveux etc.
• Ne pas laisser l’appareil sans surveillance, tant qu’il est en service. En cas
d’arrêts de travail prolongés, l’appareil doit être retiré de la source de tension.
• Faire refroidir l’appareil après son utilisation, avant de le ranger.
• Si l’appareil n’est pas utilisé, veuillez le conserver dans un endroit sûr, à l’abri
de la poussière et de l‘humidité.
• Les directives de sécurité, de santé et de protection du travail nationales et
internationales sont à respecter.
Mise en service
1. Desserrer les vis de serrage se trouvant sur la tête de l’appareil.
2. Enfoncer la pointe de découpage dans la douille.
3. Visser à nouveau fermement les vis de serrage.
4. Avant de brancher la fiche secteur dans la prise de courant, contrôlez la tension de
raccordement figurant sur la plaque signalétique.
5. Vous enclenchez l’appareil en appuyant sur le levier de commutation. La température de
la pointe de découpage est atteinte après un temps de chauffe de 6 à 8 secondes.
6. Nettoyez la pointe de découpage avec une brosse en laiton à l’état chaud.
7. Relâchez le levier de commutation après avoir terminé les travaux de coupe.

L’appareil n’est pas concu pour un service permanent, mais pour un
service intermittent. La période de service à des conditions de dissipation
thermique appropriées est de 12 s. L’appareil doit être ensuite éteint
pendant 48 s.
Elimination
L’appareil ne doit pas être jeté dans les ordures ménagères !
Un appareil inutilisable doit être remis au magasin, au fabricant ou aux
centres de reprise communaux, aménagés à cet effet.
Garantie
Pour cet outil de coupe à chaud, vous bénéficiez d’un an de garantie à compter de la
réception, mis à part pour la pointe de coupe. Cette garantie concerne tous les vices, qui
reposent sur d’éventuels défauts de matériel ou de fabrication.
La garantie s’éteint en cas d’utilisation non conforme ou abusive. Veuillez n’utiliser que des
pointes de coupe originales de HSGM. Toute garantie expire en cas d’utilisation d’autres
marques de fabrication.

Zasady bezpieczeństwa
Należy bezwzględnie przestrzegać wskazówek bezpieczeństwa!
• To urządzenie może być obsługiwane przez dzieci w wieku od lat 8 lub osoby
dorosłe o ograniczonych zdolnościach intelektualnych, poważnym upośledzeniu
zycznym oraz braku wiedzy lub doświad-czenia w zakresie jego eksploatacji
pod warunkiem nadzoru osoby odpowiedzialnej za ich bezpieczeństwo lub za-
pewnienia odpowied-niego przeszkolenia przez te osoby. Należy także zapew-
nić odpo-wiedni nadzór nad dziećmi, aby nie bawiły się one tym urządze-niem.
Nie wolno powierzać dzieciom bez nadzoru prac związanych z czyszczeniem i
konserwacją urządzenia.
• Uważać, aby kabel sieciowy nie został narażony na działa-nie gorąca i był
układany przez ostre ostrzenie krawędzie lub na-roża. Uszkodzone przewody
przyłączeniowe mogą spowodować pożar, zwarcie lub porażenie prądem
elektrycznym.
• Jeżeli przewód zasilający urządzenia jest uszkodzony, należy zlecić jego wymia-
nę producentowi, pracownikom działu obsługi klienta w zakładzie producenta
lub innej osobie posiadającej podobne kwa-likacje, aby uniknąć zagrożeń.
• Wystąpienie pożaru jest również możliwe w razie niewłaści-wej obsługi urzą-
dzenia. Końcówki tnące mogą osiągać temperaturę do ok. 500 °C. Aby zapo-
biec wypadkom nie wolno dotykać końców-ki tnącej po naciśnięciu przycisku
przełączającego. Nie używać urządzenia w wybuchowej atmosferze, a przed

użyciem usunąć wszystkie palne materiały i ciecze oraz używać podkładki do
pracy odpornej na temperaturę i zapewnić czystość w miejscu pracy.
• Przed użyciem sprawdzić, czy urządzenie nie wykazuje uszkodzeń oraz czy
końcówka tnąca jest dobrze osadzona. W przypadku wy-stąpienia uszkodzeń
należy poinformować serwis.
• Ze względów bezpieczeństwa i dopuszczenia (CE) zabrania się sa-mowolnego
przebudowywania lub zmieniania termoprzecinarki.
• Chronić narzędzie przed cieczami i wilgocią. W przeciwnym razie dojść do
pożaru, zwarcia lub porażenia prądem elektrycz-nym.
• Podczas pracy należy zapewnić dostateczną wentylację. Uważać, aby nie
wdychać szkodliwych dla zdrowia oparów ani gazów. Ewentualnie nosić
ubiór ochronny.
• Gorąca końcówka tnąca nie może zetknąć się z palnymi lub wrażliwymi na
temperaturę materiałami oraz skórą, włosami itp.
• Pracującego urządzenia nie wolno pozostawiać bez nadzoru. W przypadku
dłuższych przerw w pracy odłączyć urządzenie od źródła napięcia.
• Po zakończeniu używania odczekać do wystygnięcia narzędzia przed jego
schowaniem.
• Nieużywane urządzenie przechowywać w bezpiecznym miejscu, chroniąc go
przed pyłem i wilgocią.
• Przestrzegać obowiązujących krajowych i międzynarodowych przepisów BHP i
zapobiegania nieszczęśliwym wypadkom.
Uruchamianie
1. Odkręcić śruby zaciskowe, znajdujące się w głowicy urządzenia.
2. Wetknąć końcówkę tnącą do gniazdek.
3. Mocno dokręcić śruby zaciskowe.
4. Przed wetknięciem wtyczki do gniazdka należy sprawdzić napięcie przyłączeniowe,
podane na tabliczce znamionowej.
5. Urządzenie włączane jest przez naciskani dżwigni przełączającej. Po upływie czasu
nagrzewania, wynoszącego 6-8 sekund, osiągnięta jest temperatura końcówki tnącej.
6. Końcówkę tnącą należy czyścić na gorąco za pomocą mosiężnej szczotki.
7. Po zakończeniu cięcia należy zwolnić dżwignię przełączającą.

końcówki tnącej. Gwarancja obejmuje wszystkie usterki, spowodowane ewentual-nymi
wadami materiałowymi lub produkcyjnymi.
Gwarancja wygasa w razie niefachowej obróbki lub nadużycia. Należy stosować tylko
oryginalne końcówki tnące rmy HSGM. Zastosowanie jakichkol-wiek innych produktów
powoduje wygaśnięcie gwarancji.

Questo dispositivo è esclusivamente per il taglio di polistirolo e schiuma rigida, in particolare
quelli di tipo tavole utilizzate per facciate, isolamento del tetto o in cantina isolamento.
Avviso per la sicurezza
Rispettare scrupolosamente le istruzioni per la sicurezza !
• Questo apparecchio può essere utilizzato da bambini dagli 8 anni in su e da
persone con limiti fisici, sensoriali o mentali o privi di esperienza e conoscenze,
a condizione che siano sotto la guida di un supervisore o istruiti in merito
all’uso sicuro dell’apparecchio e comprendano i pericoli da esso derivanti. I
bambini non devono giocare con l’apparecchio. Pulizia e manutenzione non
devono essere effettuate dai bambini in assenza di supervisione.
• Prestare attenzione affinché il cavo di collegamento elettrico non venga a
contatto con fonti di calore, olio o bordi taglienti. I cavi danneggiati possono
provocare incendi, cortocircuiti e scosse elettriche.
• Se il cavo di collegamento elettrico di questo apparecchio è danneggiato, deve
essere sostituito dal fabbricante o dal relativo servizio di assistenza oppure da
una persona parimenti qualificata, al fine di evitare possibili pericoli.
• L’uso improprio dell’apparecchio può provocare un incendio. Le estremità di
taglio possono raggiungere temperature fino a 500°C. Per evitare incidenti, la
punta di taglio non deve essere toccata dopo aver premuto la leva di attivazione.
Non utilizzare l’apparecchio in atmosfera potenzialmente esplosiva, rimuovere
tutti i materiali/liquidi infiammabili prima dell’uso, utilizzare una base di lavoro
resistente al calore e mantenere pulita la zona di lavoro.

• Prima di utilizzare l’apparecchio, verificarne l’integrità e il corretto alloggiamento
della punta di taglio. In caso di danni riscontrati, non utilizzare l’apparecchio e
informare l’assistenza.
• Per motivi di sicurezza e di omologazione (CE) è vietato trasformare e/o modifi-
care in modo arbitrario l’apparecchio di taglio a caldo.
• Proteggere l’utensile dai liquidi e dall’umidità. In caso contrario, si possono
produrre incendi, cortocircuiti e scosse elettriche.
• Durante il funzionamento, è necessario garantire una ventilazione sufficiente.
Prestare attenzione a non inalare vapori o gas nocivi per la salute. Se necessa-
rio, indossare indumenti di protezione personale.
• La punta di taglio surriscaldata e il suo alloggiamento non devono venire a
contatto con parti sensibili al calore o infiammabili, come pelle, capelli ecc.
• Non lasciare incustodito l’apparecchio durante il suo funzionamento. In caso di
pause di lavoro prolungate, è necessario scollegare l’apparecchio dall’alimen-
tazione elettrica.
• Dopo l’uso, lasciare raffreddare l’utensile prima di riporlo.
• Quando l’apparecchio non viene utilizzato, conservarlo in un luogo sicuro al
riparo da polvere e umidità.
• Osservare le norme nazionali ed internazionali in materia di sicurezza, salute e
antinfortunistica.
Messa in esercizio
1. Svitare le viti di bloccaggio collocate presso la testa dell’apparecchiatura.
2. Inserire le estremità di tagliente nelle boccole.
3. Serrare saldamente le viti di bloccaggio.
4. Prima di inserire la spina nella presa, verificare la tensione di attacco impressa sulla
targhetta identificativa del tipo.
5. L’apparecchiatura viene attivata premendo la leva dell’interruttore.
Trascorso un tempo di riscaldamento pari a 6÷8 secondi, viene raggiunta la
temperatura di esercizio dell’estremità di tagliente.
6. La pulizia dell’estremità di tagliente va effettuata a caldo, ricorrendo ad una spazzola
in ottone.
7. Terminata l’attività di taglio, rilasciare la leva dell’interruttore.
