HTC S621 Software Installation
ROM update for the HTC S621
1. Download the ROM from the HTC America website.
2. Attach your USB cable to both your device and your PC.
3. Once your PC detects your device, double-click on the ROM file to launch the RUU (Rom Update Utility)
Wizard.
4. Tap Next.

5. The Wizard will unpack the ROM files.
6. View the Read Me file, check the "I understand the caution indicated above and have
reviewed the Readme" box and click on Next to continue.

7. Review the instructions, check the "I completed the steps indicated above" box and click on
Next.
8. The Wizard will verify your devices info:

9. Click on Update.
10. Review the version read from your device and the version you downloaded. If the version on your
device is an older version, continue with the installation. If it is the same as the current version, there
is no need to reload the software on your device.

11. Confirm that you want to load the software by clicking on Next.
12. The update will begin.

13. Once the update is complete, click Finish.
14. The device will reboot and the run through the Cold Boot Configuration. Be sure to allow the Cold
Boot Configuration process to complete. The device is now ready for use.
