1 Upgrade Description
This document describes Upgrade Guide of K4606.

K4606 upgrade file: K4606 QuickStart Firmware v3.4.exe
3 Upgrading Process
3.1 Preparation before Upgrading
1. Make sure the Operating System is windows XP/vista/win7.
2. Make sure adequate power to the computer during the upgrade process.
3.2 Normal upgrade process
1. Insert device into PC. The run upgrade file: K4606 QuickStart Firmware v3.1.exe , as
below displayed, then click”Next”(the snapshot is only for reference)

3. Click Start, the board will enter updating. At the following step, the board will reset and
enter updating again. It will take several times but not long. (the snapshot is only for
reference)

4. After click”Start”, as below displayed:

5. At last, all work complete, as below displayed (actual version is depended on the
upgraded firmware, the snapshot is only for reference ), click”Exit”.

6. After Upgrade Finish, please remove the device from PC, than insert K4606 again.

3.3 Restore Default Setting.
This Step is very important. Please Open QuickStart -> Help -> Device
Controls, then select ‘Restore Default Settings’, finally click the button
‘Confirm’.
The device will restart to reset the default setting. After device startup, please
remove it from PC, then insert it to PC to test.
3.4 Check software version
1．To the homepage: http://192.168.9.1, and login
then select “Help-->”Diagnostics”can see Version NO., as below displayed:
