use your SmartView Nano's many
features.

3. Using the SmartView Nano
Press the Power button for 2 seconds to turn
on the SmartView Nano and place it flat on the
surface you want to view.
3.1 Menu
Press the Menu button to enter the
Setting mode. Press up and down (Mode
and Light) to toggle and Freeze/Select
to select. The following three options
can be modified:
• Status Display: Set Display status
information on screen on/off.
• Brightness: Set the brightness level
of the screen.
• White Balance: Set White Balance
on/off
3.2 Recharging the Battery
The SmartView Nano uses 3 AAA NI-MH
rechargeable batteries. To recharge the
SmartView Nano:
• Connect the charger to one end of the
USB cable.
• Connect the other end of the USB
connector to the SmartView Nano's USB
port.
• Plug the charger to an electrical outlet.
The SmartView Nano needs to be plugged
in for approximately 3 hours to reach full
charge.
Once fully charged, the SmartView Nano
can be used for a period of about 3 hours.
3.3 Installing lanyard
To install lanyard, turn the SmartView
Nano upside down and open the battery
compartment. Insert string around both
sides of the opening above the USB jack.
Close battery compartment.
