Assembly Instru tions
NA – Northwood Arbour Seat
Your Arbour is in six sub-assembled se tions, two loose
armrests, a bag of fixings and instru tions. Some basi tools
will be required to assemble the Arbour Seat.
1. On clean, level ground, assemble your Arbour Seat
horizontally on the ground.
2. Put the seat section into position between the two side
panels with the trellis flush to the outside of the arbour.
Using a 95mm bolt push through the front hole on the seat
section into the post on one side panel. Use one of the
connector caps in the relevant hole on the side panel to
fasten to the bolt loosely. epeat for the other side.
3. Now, with help if necessary, lift this Assembly into a vertical
position with the rounded ends of the Seat facing you. This
will now be the front of your Seat.
When assembling, loosely
bolt together until fully
assembled then tighten all
the bolts.

4. The Seat Back is now slid into place between the now
vertical Side Panels and the half lap joints on the Seat and
Seat Back. Line up the 11mm predrilled holes and bolt up as
you did the Seat.
5. Line up the rear Trellis panel with the Side Trellis panel at
the top and screw into place, with the screws provided.
6. If you wish to fit the optional armrests, it is advisable to
drill pilot holes using a 3mm drill (once you have located
the correct positions).
To position the armrests, there should be a gap of 200mm
between the bottom of the armrest and the top of the seat
rest.
The front of the armrests should be fixed using a 90mm
screw fixing from the outside of the trellis frame into the
armrest.
The backs of the armrests are fixed into place through the
back of the seat’s backrest using a 90mm screw.
7. Slide the roof section over the half lap joints on the post.
Centre the roof and fix with 4 no. 60mm screws & caps from
the post into the roof on angle of 25º. The space between
the posts at the front should be 118cm (1180mm).
8. All that is now left to do is check all the bolts and screws
are reasonably tight, push rubber bungs into the holes above
the front of the arm rests, and position, with help, your
Northwood or Westbury Arbour in its selected position in
your garden, and enjoy using it.
