Assembly Instructions
WA – Westbury Arbour Seat
Your Arbour is in seven sub-assembled sections, two loose
armrests, a ba of fixin s and instructions. Some basic tools
will be required to assemble the Arbour Seat.
1. O clea , level grou d, assemble your Arbour Seat
horizo tally o the grou d.
2. Slide the seat i to positio betwee the two Side Pa els
with the trellis flush to the outside. Li e up the 11mm
predrilled holes i the fro t Side Sectio s a d Seat. The
fro t of each trellis is defi ed by a small, pre-drilled hole i
the trellis frame, 735mm from the base of the post. Push a
cap i to the post a d pass a 95mm lo g bolt through from
the other side. Repeat for the other co ectio a d tighte
up with two Alle Keys provided.
3. Now, with help if ecessary, lift this Assembly i to a vertical
positio with the rou ded e ds of the Seat faci g you. This
will ow be the fro t of your Seat.

4. The Seat Back is now slid into place between the now
vertical Side Panels and the half lap joints on the Seat and
Seat Back. Line up the 11mm predrilled holes and bolt up as
you did the Seat.
5. Line up the rear Trellis panel with the Side Trellis panel at
the top and screw into place, with the screws provided.
6. To position the arm rests, first locate the 4 small pre-drilled
holes. They are located in the front of each side trellis frame
and one on each side of the seat back. Next you will need to
screw from the outer side of the pre-drilled hole in the
trellis frame through into the front of the relevant arm rest
using a 90mm screw and screw cup. Repeat for the other
side. sing another two 90mm screws and screw cups, fix
the arm rests into place by screwing through the pre drilled
holes on the seat back into the back of the arm rests.
7. Join the two Roof Sections together, using 4 no. 90mm
Woodscrews and 4 Screw Caps, ensuring the joint is as tight
as possible, in the same way as the Centre Rail is fixed.
8. Slide the roof section over the half lap joints on the post.
Centre the roof and fix with 4 no. 60mm screws & caps from
the post into the roof on angle of 25º. The space between
the posts at the front should be 118cm (1180mm).
9. All that is now left to do is check all the bolts and screws
are reasonably tight, push rubber bungs into the holes above
the front of the arm rests, and position, with help, your
Northwood or Westbury Arbour in its selected position in
your garden, and enjoy using it.
