Programming Options & Policies
Portable Antennas Options
Icom’s VHF handheld radios come standard with the 150-174 MHz
antenna and UHF handhelds come standard with the red tip 440-470
MHz antenna. Icom also makes the blue tip 136-155 antennas and
high and low spilt UHF antennas. When you order handhelds from
Icom, please conrm what frequency you need. If you need a dif-
ferent frequency range, we will swap out the standard antenna and
replace with the one you want.
Substitution Policy
Stubby antenna and battery substitutions permitted on request, price
differences may apply. When ordering please use the upgrade and
substitution codes needed (ex: BP-208N sub). See the appropriate
accessory pages for these new codes. Chargers and batteries can-
not be substituted on the F3001 & F3011 series radios.
Programming & Installation Options

We provide customized programming and optional module installation on
new radio orders. Please add the appropriate part number to your PO.
Programming & Installation Fees
- IAS Equipment
Many Icom America System products offer internal modules that
require installation and programming. We provide customized pro-
gramming and optional module installation on new IAS orders.
