The IKEA FAMILY air cleaner is a circulation
air cleaner for indoor home use.
The unit contains a replaceable
Flimmer®lter.
Important safety information
Read the assembly and user instruction
carefully before using the unit. Keep this
information for further reference.
Warning!
If the supply cord is damaged, it must
be replaced by the manufacturer, the
manufacturer´s service agent or similarly
qualied persons in order to avoid a
hazard. Children or inrm persons must not
use product without supervision. For indoor
use only. Not to be used in wet rooms.

Filter replacement
When replacing the lter it is essential that
the user proceeds as follows:
Warning!
The power supply cord must be
disconnected during lter replacement!
1. Disconnect the power and wait until the
fan has stopped.
2. Press the button on the back of the unit
marked with the symbol to release the
hood and lift the hood off.
3. Remove the used lter box. Please note
instruction on label for disposal of lter.
4. Clean inside, removing all dust and dirt.
5. Insert the new lter box. Ensure that the
lter is mounted in the right direction. Please
note information on lter label regarding
mounting direction. For your own record,
please write replacement date on label. Do
not touch the immer lters.
6. Attach the hood.
7. Reconnect the power supply cord.
