Installation and Lubrication
Size air supply line to ensure tool’s maximum operating pressure (PMAX) at tool inlet. Drain
condensate from valve(s) at low point(s) of piping, air lter and compressor tank daily. Install
a properly sized Safety Air Fuse upstream of hose and use an anti-whip device across any
hose coupling without internal shut-o, to prevent hose whipping if a hose fails or coupling
disconnects. See drawing 16585788 and table on page 2. Maintenance frequency is shown in a
circular arrow and dened as h=hours, d=days, and m=months of actual use. Items identied as:

Clutch Adjustment
For Models 7RLL2C6-EU, 7RLL3C6-EU and 7RLM3C6-EU, incorporate an adjustable clutch that
can be externally adjusted within a certain range to ratchet when a
predetermined torque has been delivered.
To increase the adjustable torque range, two Clutch Springs are oered.
The Heavy Clutch Spring (color-coded green for identication) is suitable for the
majority of applications since it will give precise adjustment from approximately 45 to 90 in-lb
(5.0 to 10.2 Nm) torque.
The Light Clutch Spring (color-coded black) is for applications ranging from approximately
15 to 65 in-lb (1.7 to 7.6 Nm).
WARNING
Disconnect the air supply from the Tool before proceeding.
To adjust the Clutch, proceed as follows.
1. Rotate the Adjusting Hole Cover on the Clutch Housing to expose the adjusting hole.
2. Insert a 1/4” Allen Wrench into the recess in the Bit Holder or grasp the square drive of the
Socket Adapter Spindle Assembly with an adjustable wrench. Rotate the wrench until one of
the radial holes in the Clutch Adjusting Nut is visible through the slot in the Clutch Housing.
Insert the Clutch Sprag Key into the elongated slot in the Clutch Housing and into the hole in
the Adjusting Nut to sprag the Nut against rotation.
WARNING
The clutch, when equipped with the Heavy Spring, can be set beyond the torque
capacity of the tool in which case the tool will stall before the Clutch ratches. Do not
adjust the Clutch beyond the torque capacity of the tool.
3. Grasp the tool rmly in one hand and rotate the output end of the Angle Head. Rotating the
output end clockwise when facing the front increases the compression on the Clutch Spring
and raises the torque at which the clutch will ratchet.
NOTICE
The most satisfactory adjustment is usually obtained by using the tool on the actual
application, and increasing or decreasing the delivered torque until the desired setting
is reached. In any event, it is recommended that the nal adjustment be made by gradual
progression.

When the life of the tool has expired, it is recommended that the tool be disassembled,
degreased and parts be separated by material so that they can be recycled.

Instalación y lubricación
Diseñe la línea de suministro de aire para asegurar la máxima presión de funcionamiento

Ajuste del Embrague
Los modelos 7RLL2C6-EU, 7RLL3C6-EU y 7RLM3C6-EU incorporan un embrague ajustable
que puede ajustarse externamente dentro de un cierto intervalo para que se accione al aplicar
un par determinado previamente. Para aumentar el rango del par ajustable, existen dos muelles
de embrague.
El muelle de embrague pesado (codicado en color verde para su identicación) se
adecua a la mayoría de las aplicaciones, pues proporciona un ajuste preciso de 40 a
120 in-lb (4,5 a 13,5 Nm) de par aproximadamente.
El muelle de embrague ligero (codicado en color negro) se utiliza para aplicaciones que
varían de15 a 80 in-lb (1,7 a 9 Nm) de par aproximadamente.
ADVERTENCIA
Desconecte el suministro de aire de la herramienta antes de realizar el ajuste.
Para ajustar el embrague, siga las instrucciones siguientes:
1. Gire la cubierta del oricio de ajuste en el alojamiento del embrague para destapar el oricio
de ajuste.
2. Gire el extremo saliente de la cabeza angular hasta que vea uno de los oricios radiales de la
tuerca de ajuste del embrague a través de la ranura del alojamiento del embrague. Inserte la
llave de retención del embrague en la ranura alargada del alojamiento del embrague y en el
orico de la tuerca de ajuste para evitar que ésta gire.
ADVERTENCIA
Cuando el embrague está equipado con el muelle pesado, puede ajustarse más allá
de la capacidad de par de la herramienta, en cuyo caso ésta se detendrá antes de
que se accione el embrague. No ajuste el embrague más allá de la capacidad de par
de la herramienta.
3. Agarre rmemente la herramienta con una mano y gire el extremo saliente de la cabeza
angular. Al girar el extremo saliente en dirección de las agujas del reloj cuando está dirigido
hacia delante, aumenta la compresión del muelle del embrague e incrementa el par en el
que el embrague se activará.
AVISO
Normalmente, se obtiene un ajuste óptimo al utilizar la herramienta en la aplicación
real y aumentando o disminuyendo el par aplicado hasta que se alcance el ajuste
deseado. En cualquier caso, se recomienda que se realice el ajuste nal mediante
una progresión gradual.

Piezas y mantenimiento
Una vez agotada la vida útil de la herramienta, se recomienda desarmarla, desengrasarla y
agrupar las piezas en función del material del que están fabricadas para reciclarlas.

Installation et lubrication
Dimensionnez l’alimentation en air de façon à obtenir une pression maximale (PMAX) au niveau
de l’entrée d’air de l’outil. Drainez quotidiennement le condensat des vannes situées aux points
bas de la tuyauterie, du ltre à air et du réservoir du compresseur. Installez un raccordement à
air de sûreté dont la taille est adaptée au tuyau et placez-le en amont de celui-ci, puis utilisez
un dispositif anti-débattement sur tous les raccords pour tuyaux sans fermeture interne, an
d’empêcher les tuyaux de fouetter si l’un d’entre eux se décroche ou si le raccord se détache.
Reportez-vous à l’illustration 16585788 et au tableau de la page 2. La fréquence des opérations
d’entretien est indiquée dans la èche circulaire et est dénie en h=heures, d=jours, et m=mois
de fonctionnement. Eléments identiés en tant que:

Réglage de l’embrayage
Les modèles 7RLL2C6-EU, 7RLL3C6-EU et 7RLM3C6-EU comprennent un embrayage qui
se règle extérieurement dans une certaine plage de manière à ce qu’il cliquette lorsqu’un
couple prédéterminé est atteint. Pour augmenter la plage de couple réglable, deux ressorts
d’embrayage sont disponibles.
Le ressort d’embrayage renforcé (codé en couleur verte) convient à la plupart des applica-
tions puisqu’il produit un réglage de couple précis d’environ 40 à 120 in-lb (4,5 à 13,5 Nm).
Le ressort d’embrayage léger (codé en couleur noire) convient pour les applications d’environ
15 à 80 in-lb (1,7 à 9 Nm).
AVERTISSEMENT
Déconnectez l’alimentation d’air de l’outil avant de procéder au réglage.
Procédez comme suit pour régler l’embrayage.
1. Tournez le couvercle de l’orice de réglage du carter d’embrayage pour exposer l’orice de
réglage.
2. Faites tourner l’extrémité sortante de la tête d’angle jusqu’à ce que l’un des trous latéraux de
l’écrou de réglage de l’embrayage soit visible par la fente du carter d’embrayage. Insérez la
clé de blocage de l’embrayage dans la fente allongée du carter d’embrayage et dans le trou
de l’écrou de réglage pour bloquer la rotation de l’écrou.
AVERTISSEMENT
L’embrayage, s’il est équipé du ressort renforcé, peut être réglé au-delà de la capacité de
couple de l’outil, dans quel cas ce dernier calera avant que l’embrayage cliquette. Ne réglez
pas l’embrayage au-delà de la capacité de couple de l’outil.
3. Saisissez fermement l’outil d’une main et faites tourner l’extrémité sortante de la tête d’angle.
Faire tourner cette extrémité dans le sens horaire par rapport à l’avant de l’outil augmente la
compression du ressort d’embrayage et augmente le couple auquel l’embrayage cliquette.
AVIS
Le meilleur réglage est en général obtenu en utilisant l’outil dans une application
réelle et en augmentant ou en diminuant le couple produit jusqu’à ce que le réglage
désiré soit atteint. Quel que soit le cas, il est recommandé d’eectuer le réglage nal
de façon progressive.

Pièces détachées et maintenance

Installazione e lubricazione
La linea di alimentazione dell’aria deve essere dimensionata in maniera tale da assicurare
all’utensile la massima pressione di esercizio (PMAX) in ingresso. Scaricare quotidianamente la
condensa dalla valvola o dalle valvole sulla parte bassa della tubatura, dal ltro dell’aria e dal
serbatoio del compressore. Installare un fusibile di sicurezza di dimensioni adatte a monte del
tubo essibile e utilizzare un dispositivo antivibrazioni su tutti i manicotti senza arresto interno
per evitare i colpi di frusta dei essibili, se questi si guastano o se si staccano gli accoppiamenti.

Regolazione frizione
I modelli 7RLL2C6-EU, 7RLL3C6-EU AND 7RLM3C6-EU incorporano una frizione regolabile che
può essere regolata esternamente entro un determinato intervallo nel dente di arresto quando
è stata fornita una coppia predeterminata. Per aumentare l’intervallo di coppia regolabile,
vengono oerte due molle della frizione.
La molla della frizione pesante (in verde per l’identicazione) è idonea per la maggior parte
delle applicazioni in quanto darà una precisa regolazione da una coppia da 40 a 120 in-lb (da 4,5
a 13,5 Nm).
La molla a frizione leggera (in nero) serve per applicazioni con una coppia che va da
circa 15 a 80 in-lb (da 1,7 a 9 Nm).
AVVERTIMENTO
Scollegare l’alimentazione dell’aria dall’utensile prima di proseguire.
Per regolare la frizione, procedere come illustrato di seguito:
1. Ruotare il tappo copriforo sull’alloggiamento frizione no a mettere allo scoperto il foro di
regolazione.
2. Ruotare l’estremità in uscita della testa angolata nché uno dei fori radiali del dado di
regolazione frizione non è visibile attraverso la fessura dell’alloggiamento frizione. Inserire il
puntone della frizione nella scanalatura allungata dell’alloggiamento frizione e nel foro del
dado di regolazione per impedire la rotazione del dado.
AVVERTIMENTO
La frizione, quando è dotata di molla pesante, si può impostare oltre la capacità di
coppia dell’utensile, nel qual caso l’utensile si bloccherà prima che la frizione si
arresti. Non regolare la frizione oltre la capacità di coppia dell’utensile.
3. Mantenere l’utensile saldamente con una mano e ruotare l’estremità di uscita della testa an-
golata. Ruotando l’estremità di uscita in senso orario, visto daalla parte anteriore, si aumenta
la compressione della molla della frizione e si aumenta la coppia alla quale la frizione si
arresta o spegne l’utensile.
AVVISO
La regolazione più soddisfacente si ottiene solitamente usando l’utensile sull’applicazione
vera e propria e aumentando o riducendo la coppia fornita nché non si raggiunge
l’impostazione desiderata. In ogni caso, si raccomanda di eettuare la regolazione nale
con gradualità.

Ricambi e manutenzione
Raggiunto il limite di operatività dell’utensile, si consiglia di smontarlo, sgrassarlo e separare i
pezzi in base al materiale con il quale sono costituiti, in modo da poterli riciclare.

Druckluftzufuhrleitung an der Druckluftzufuhr des Werkzeugs gemäß des maximalen
Betriebsdrucks (PMAX) bemessen. Kondensat an den Ventilen an Tiefpunkten von Leitungen,
Luftlter und Kompressortank täglich ablassen. Eine Sicherheits-Druckluftsicherung gegen die
Strömungsrichtung im Schlauch und eine Anti- Schlagvorrichtung an jeder Verbindung ohne
interne Sperre installieren, um ein Peitschen des Schlauchs zu verhindern, wenn ein Schlauch
fehlerhaft ist oder sich eine Verbindung löst. Siehe Zeichnung 16585788 und Tabelle auf Seite 2.

Kupplungseinstellung
Die Modelle 7RLL2C6-EU, 7RLL3C6-EU UND 7RLM3C6-EU beinhalten eine einstellbare
Kupplung, die von außen innerhalb eines bestimmten Bereichs so eingestellt werden kann,
dass sie auslöst, wenn ein vorbestimmtes Drehmoment anliegt. Um den einstellbaren
Drehmomentbereich zu steigern, werden zwei Kupplungsfedern angeboten.
Die starke Kupplungsfeder (zur Kennzeichung mit grünem Farbcode versehen) passt
für die Mehrzahl der Anwendungen, da sie präzise Einstellungen von 40 bis 120 in-lb (4,5 bis 13,5
Nm) Drehmoment bietet.
Die schwache Kupplungsfeder (schwarzer Farbcode) passt für Anwendungen zwischen
15 und 80 in-lb (1,7 bis 9 Nm) Drehmoment.
ACHTUNG
Vor dem Fortfahren die Druckluftzufuhr vom Werkzeug trennen.
Um die Kupplung einzustellen, gehen Sie bitte folgendermaßen vor:
1. Die Abdeckung der Einstellönung am Kupplungsgehäuse drehen, um die Einstellönung
freizulegen.
2. Das Ausgangsende des Winkelkopfes drehen, bis eine der strahlenförmigen Önungen in
der Kupplungseinstellmutter durch den Schlitz im Kupplungsgehäuse sichtbar wird. Den
Kupplungs-Spannschlüssel in den verlängerten Schlitz im Kupplungsgehäuse und in das
Loch in der Einstellmutter einsetzen, um die Mutter zu verspannen und so ihr Drehen zu
verhindern.
ACHTUNG
Die Kupplung kann auf Werte jenseits des maximalen Drehmoments eingestellt werden,
wenn das Werkzeug mit der starken Feder ausgestattet ist, wodurch das Werkzeug zu
drehen aufhört, bevor die Kupplung auslöst. Die Kupplung nicht über das maximale Dreh-
moment des Werkzeugs hinaus einstellen.
3. Das Werkzeug mit einer Hand fest ergreifen und das Ausgangsende des Winkelkopfs
drehen. Das Drehen des Ausgangsendes im Uhrzeigersinn (von vorn gesehen) steigert die
Kompression der Kupplungsfeder und das Drehmoment, bei welchem die Kupplung auslöst.

HINWEIS
Die bestmögliche Einstellung wird gewöhnlich dadurch erreicht, indem das Werkzeug bei
der aktuellen Verwendung benutzt wird und dabei das gelieferte Drehmoment gesteigert
oder gesenkt wird, bis die gewünschte Einstellung erreicht ist. In jedem Fall ist zu empfeh-
len, die Endeinstellung schrittweise durchzuführen.
Teile und Wartung
Ist die Lebensdauer des Werkzeugs beendet, wird empfohlen, es auseinander zu bauen, zu
entfetten und die Teile nach Materialien zu trennen, damit sie recycelt werden können.

Installatie en smering
Om de maximale bedrijfsdruk ( PMAX) bij de luchtinlaat van het toestel te garanderen, moet de
luchttoevoerleiding hierop geselecteerd zijn. Tap dagelijks condensaat af van kleppen bij lage
punten van het leidingwerk, de luchtlter en de compressortank. Monteer een beveiliging met
de juiste afmeting bovenstrooms van de slang en gebruik een antislingerinrichting op elke
slangkoppeling zonder interne afsluiter om te voorkomen dat de slang gaat slingeren als een
slang valt of een koppeling losraakt. Zie tekening 16585788 en tabel op pagina 2.
De onderhoudsfrequentie wordt weergegeven in een cirkelvormige pijl met h=uren, d=dagen
en m=maanden reëel gebruik. Aangegeven onderdelen:

Koppeling afstellen
De modellen 7RLL2C6-EU, 7RLL3C6-EU AND 7RLM3C6-EU zijn voorzien van een verstelbare
koppeling die van buiten af kan worden afgesteld binnen een begrensd bereik, zodat deze ratelt
wanneer een vooraf bepaald aandraaimoment is bereikt.
Er zijn twee koppelingsveren beschikbaar om het afstelbare aandraaimoment te vergroten.
De zware koppelingsveer (kleurcode groen als identicatie) is geschikt voor de meerderheid
van de toepassingen aangezien deze een nauwkeurige afstelling biedt voor het aandraaimo-
ment van ongeveer 40 tot 120 in-lb (4.5 tot 13.5 Nm).
De lichte koppelingsveer (kleurcode zwart) is geschikt voor toepassingen met een
aandraaimoment variërend van ongeveer 15 tot 80 in-lb (1.7 tot 9 Nm).
WAARSCHUWING
Koppel de luchttoevoer los van het gereedschap voordat u verder gaat.
Stel de koppeling als volgt af:
1. Draai de afdekking van de afstelopening in het koppelingshuis om de afstelopening bloot te
leggen.
2. Draai het uitgaande uiteinde van de haakse kop totdat één van de radiale openingen in
de afstelmoer zichtbaar is door de opening in het koppelingshuis. Steek de sleutel voor
het vastzetten van de koppeling door de langwerpige opening in het koppelingshuis en
vervolgens in de opening van de afstelmoer om de moer te borgen tegen verdraaien.
WAARSCHUWING
De koppeling kan, wanneer deze met de zware veer is uitgerust, op een hoger aan-
draaimoment wordt afgesteld dan de capaciteit van het gereedschap toelaat. In dat geval
zal het gereedschap vastlopen voordat de koppeling wordt geblokkeerd. Stel de kop-
peling niet hoger af dan het maximumaandraaimoment van het gereedschap.
3. Houd het gereedschap stevig vast met één hand en draai het uitgaande uiteinde van de
haakse kop. Wanneer u het uitgaande uiteinde met de klok meedraait met de voorzijde naar
u toe gericht, wordt de compressie van de koppelingsveer vergroot en het aandraaimoment
waarbij de koppeling wordt geblokkeerd of het gereedschap wordt uitgeschakeld, verhoogd.

OPMERKING
De beste afstelling wordt doorgaans verkregen door het gereedschap gewoon te
gebruiken om de gewenste schroeven aan te draaien, en daarbij het aandraaimoment
te verhogen en verlagen tot de gewenste stand is bereikt. Aangeraden wordt om de
uiteindelijke afstelling in geleidelijke stappen uit te voeren.
Onderdelen en onderhoud
Als het gereedschap niet meer wordt gebruikt vanwege ouderdom, slijtage of defecten, wordt
u geadviseerd het gereedschap te demonteren en de onderdelen te ontvetten en te scheiden
voor recycling.

Reparatie en onderhoud van dit gereedschap mogen uitsluitend door een erkend servicecen-
trum worden uitgevoerd.
