throughitiscontrolledandsupervisedbythecontrolpanel.
Thesounder/flashercanbeprogrammedfromthecontrolpanelviasoftwarethatallowstheconfigurationof
thevariousparameters(tone,maximumalarmtime,flashrate,signallingactivationmode,etc.)andtheacti-
vationofdifferentsignalsfordifferentevents.
Thecontrolpanel,viatheAir2wirelesssystem,isatalltimescapableofsupervisingtamper,lowbattery,
faultandbatterylevelsignalsl.
TheAir2-Smarty/Wprovidesself-diagnosticfunctionsforpromptidentificationoffaultsand,duringtheinstal-

TheAir2-Smarty/Wsounder/flasherprovidesvariousaudibleandvisualsignals.Thesignalswillactivateor
deactivateinaccordancewiththeprogrammedsettingsofthesounder/flasherortheconnectedcontrol
panel.Theparametersofeachsignalcanbeprogrammedindividually,combinedwithothersignals,ordeac-
tivated.
3.1 Types of signalling
FlasherThehighintensityluminoussignalisachievedbymeansofhigh-efficiencyLEDs(Description of parts, [J])
which,duetotheirextra-lowpowerconsumption,provideoptimumautonomy.
STATUS LED, PRG LEDThetwoLEDsonthesidesoftheflashercanbeusedforsignallingpurposesaswellasduringinstallation
operations(Description of parts, [H],Description of parts, [I]).
ThesetwoLEDs,ifsuitablyprogrammed,willsignaldevicefaultsandtamperevents.
Audible signallingThespeakeremits anaudiblesignal whichcanbe programmedfortone (3tonesavailable), duration,
volumeandassociatedevents.

Air2-Smarty/Wsounders canbe activatedbothby signalsfrom theanti-intrusion controlpaneland by
eventsgeneratedbythesounderunititself.

signalling.
Eacheventcanbeassociatedwithoneormoresounder/flashers,configuredas‘Outputs’duringtheevent

NoteThis type of activation prevents the control panel from activating the LEDs.
Thissignallingconsistsofaseriesofflashes.Ifseveralconditionsaredetectedsimultaneously,bothLEDs
arecapableofsignallingtheeventsconsecutively.

1. Chooseasuitablemountingplacement.
The sounder/flasher must be installed high up on a flat surface/wall.
Ferromagneticmaterialswhicharelocatedinthevicinityofthemountingpositioncaninfluencethemagne-
ticfieldandcanresultinthereducedoperatingcapacityofthedevice.
2. Removethecoverbyfirstunscrewingthescrewthenliftingthecatchonthebase(Description of
parts, [K]).
3. Usingthewallplugs,attachthebasetothewall.
4. Insertthetamper-protectionscrewintoitslocation(Description of parts, [O]).
5. ConnectthebatterytotheconnectoronthePCB(Description of parts, [C])andplaceitinitshousing.
TheSTATUSLEDwillalternate5flashesand5secondpauses(waitingtobeenrolled).
6. Enrollthedevice.
TheSTATUSLEDwillalternate3flashesand3secondpauses(waitingforthedislodgement/Opentamper
devicetoclose).
7. Closethecoverbypositioningthepininitslocationonthebase,thenturnituntilthecatchclicksclo-
sed.
TheSTATUSLEDwillflashwithafrequencyofoneflashpersecondfor15seconds.
TheSTATUSLEDwillstopflashingandthesounder/flasherwillbereadytooperate.

4. Installation of Air2-Smarty/W
4.1 Enrolling a wireless device
TheenrollingprocessallowsyoutoassociateanINIMwirelessdevicewiththeAir2-BS200transceiverthat
connectstotheanti-intrusioncontrolpanel.
Thisprocedurevariesdependingonthecontrolpanelinuseandtheprogrammingsoftwareorapplication:
1. Accessthecontrol-panelprogrammingsection.
2. Selectthedevicetobeenrolledinaccordancewithitstype:
laninputterminal,foradetector(motiondetector,magneticcontact,etc.)
lanoutputterminal,foranoutputdeviceconnectedtoaterminaloftheAir2-MC300magnetic
contact
lakeypad
lasounder/flasher
lakey,foraremotecontroldevice,selectingastheassociatedreadertheonesimulatedbythe
transceiver
3. Setthedeviceas‘Wireless’.
4. Startthelearningphasefromthecontrolpanel.
5. PresstheENROLLbuttononthewirelessdevice.

Oncethesolutionforthesystemtobedesignedhasbeenopened,clickonthe
System Layout buttononthemenuontheleft.Theninthesectionontherightclick
ontheAdd device on BUSbutton.
Awindowopenswhereyoucanselectthedevicestobeconfiguredandaddthemtotheconfiguration.
Inthesectionontheleftyoucanincreasethenumberusingthebuttoncorresponding
totheselecteddevicetype.
Toremoveadevicefromthestructure,workthroughtheAdddeviceprocedure,but
insteaddeselectthedeviceyouwanttoremove
Alternatively,youcanaccesstheprogrammingsectionbyclickingontherelevantbuttononthemenuonthe
left,andfromthelistthatappearsclickontheDeletebuttonthatcorrespondstothelineofthedevicetobe
removed.
Byclicking-onSoundersinthemenuontheleft,itwillbepossibletoselectthesinglesounderfromthe‘Pro-
gramming-ConfiguredSounders’section.
Thecheckboxnexttothatofthesounder/flasherdescriptionallowstheselectionofthesounder/flasher

Inthissectionitispossibletoaddthedevicetotheconfigurationordeleteit,bymeansofkeys‘ ’and‘ ’.
Assoonasthedeviceisenableditmustbeconfiguredas‘Wireless’:

OncetheOKbuttonhasbeenpressed,itisnecessarytoworkthroughthemenuoptionsinordertoenrollit.
4.2 Battery replacement
Whenreplacingthepowersupplybatteriesoftheequipment,theinstallermustuse
onlynon-rechargeablelithiumbatteriescompliantwithIEC60086-4standard.
Inthecaseofbatteryreplacement,itisadvisabletopresstheENROLLinorderto
ensurethatthedeviceissynchronizedwiththewirelesstransceiver.

ProgrammingofAir2-Smarty/Wwirelesssounderscanonlybedonethroughthecontrolpanelprogramming
software.
Onaccessingthesoftware,itisnecessarytoopenasolution,configurationoftherealsystemtobedesi-
gned.Suchaprojectmustprovidefortheinclusionofthesounder.
Foranewinstallationorthecreationofanewsolution,itisnecessarytoselectasounder/flasherfromthe
devicesavailableandincludeitinthesystemproject.
If you are using an already programmed solution, you must check that the system includes a soun-
der/flasher.Atthispointitispossibletoproceedwiththeprogrammingofthesounder/flasher.
NoteOnce the programming has been completed and the parameter have been ‘written’ on the control panel, it will
take at least 30 seconds for the device to become operative.
