G. IfThepanbeltisbroken
1. Turnoff themainpower.
2. Unscrewall thescrews(A)and openthebase-housing cover(B).
3. Unplug all theconnect wires(C)that fromthearmtoPCboardand igniter.
4. Unscrewthescrews(D)that fixthebridge(E).
5. Unscrewthescrews(F)that fixtheaxisgear(G).
6.Changeanewbelt(H)bygoingthroughallconnectingwiresthatfromthearmtobase,
and through thebridgeforcorrect position.
7. Set up thegearaxistothebridgeand screwedit. Note: do not press thebelt.
8. Put thebelt around theaxisgearand motorgear.
9. Plug all theconnect wires(C)that formthearmtoPCboardand igniter.
10. Adjust thepan homeposition.
11.Screwthebase-housing cover(B).
Warning
l Topreventorreducetheriskofelectricalshockorfire,donotexposetheunittorainor
moisture.
l Nevertouchbulbwithbarefingers, asit isveryhot afterusing.
l Hot lampexplosion hazard. Donot opentheunit withinfiveminutesafterswitching off.
l Donot start on theunit without bulbenclosureorhousing aredamaged.

Caution

Installation
Theunitshouldbemountedviaitsmountingsystem(asshownbelow)onthebottomofthe
base.Useclampstofixtheunittotruss.Alwaysensurethattheunitisfirmlyfixedtoavoid
vibrationand slipping whileoperating.Always ensurethatthestructuretowhichyou are
attaching theunit issecureand isabletosupport aweight of 30 kgsforeachunit.

6. Troubleshooting
Following areafewcommonproblemsthatmayoccurduring operation. Herearesome
suggestionsforeasytroubleshooting:
A. Theunitdoes notwork, no lightand thefandoes notwork
1.Check theconnect powerand mainfuse.
2.Measurethemainsvoltageon themainconnector.
3.Check thepoweron LED.
B. Notresponding toDMXcontroller
1.DMXLEDshouldbeon. If not, check DMXconnectors, cablestosee if linkproperly.
2.IftheDMXLEDisonandnoresponsetothechannel,check theaddresssettingsand
DMXpolarity.
3.IfyouhaveintermittentDMXsignalproblems,check thepinson connectorsoronPCBof
theunit orthepreviousone.
4.TrytouseanotherDMXcontroller.
5.Check intheDMXcablesrunnearorrunalongsidetohighvoltagecablesthatmaycause
damageorinterferencetoDMXinterfacecircuit.
C. Someunitsdon trespond totheeasycontroller
1.You mayhaveabreakintheDMXcabling.Check theLEDfortheresponseof themaster/
slavemodesignal.
2.Wrong DMXaddress intheunit. Set theproperaddress.
D. Noresponse tothesound
1.Check theunit that isnot receiving DMXsignal.
2.Check microphonetosee if it isgood bytapping themicrophone
E. Oneofthechannelsisnotworking well

5.5. DMX512 Connection
TheDMX512 iswidelyusedinintelligentlighting control,withamaximumof512 channels.
1.If you useacontrollerwith5pinsDMXconnector, you needtousea5to3pinadapter.
2.Atlastunit,theDMXcablehastobeterminatedwithaterminator.Soldera120-ohm1/4W
resistorbetweenpin2(DMX-)andpin3(DMX+)intoa3-pinXLR-plugand plugitinthe
DMX-output of thelast unit.
3.Connecttheunittogetherina “daisychain”byXLRplugfromtheoutputoftheunittothe
inputofthenextunit.Thecablecannotbebranchedorsplittoa “Y”cable.DMX512 isa
veryhigh-speedsignal.Inadequateordamagedcables,solderedjointsorcorroded
connectorscan easilydistort thesignaland shut downthesystem.
4.TheDMXoutputandinputconnectorsarepass-throughtomaintaintheDMXcircuit,when
powerisdisconnectedtotheunit.
5.Eachlightingunitneedstohaveanaddress settoreceivethedatasentbythecontroller.
Theaddress numberisbetween0-511(usually0&1areequalto1).
6.Theend of theDMX512 systemshouldbeterminatedtoreducesignalerrors.

explodeduring operation.ThelampemitsintenseUVradiationwhichisharmfultothe
eyesandskin.Thehighluminanceofthearccancauseseveredamagetotheretina if

rupture.Theriskincreaseswithage,temperatureandimproperhandlingofthelamp.Do
not usethelampanylongerthan itsspecifiedlife.
5.Makesurethelampislocatedinthecenterofthereflectorforthebestspot.Adjustlamp
position byscrewsA, Band C.
i.)Channel14 –Pre-programmed showpattern:
1.)DMXvalue 0-31,the fixtureisstill controlled byDMXcontrol.
2.)ForDMXValueabove31,allthe DMXcontrol will be invalid.The fixturewill
run the pre-programmed showpatterns(Pan/Tilt movement).
ii.)Channel15-Pre-programmed beampattern:
One can selectthe beampatternonlywhen the pre-programmed showpatternis
activated.
iii.)ForDMXReset, put DMXvalue ofCH-8&CH-16 to255.
Incase ofreplacementofthelampormaintenance, do notopenthe
fixturewithin15 minutes until theunitcoolsdownafterswitching off.

5.3.2DMX Controller
If you useauniversalDMXcontrollertocontroltheunits,youhavetoset DMXaddress from1
to512 channelsothat theunitscan receiveDMXsignal.
Press the MENU buttonup towhenthe isshownon thedisplay.Pressing ENTER
button and thedisplaywillblink.Use DOWN and UP button tochangetheDMX512 address.
Oncetheaddresshasbeenselected,pressandkeep ENTER buttonpresseduptowhenthe
displaystopsblinkingorstoring automatically8secondslater.Togo backtothefunctions
without anychangepress the MENU button again.

5. How To Control TheUnit
You can operatetheunit inthree ways:
1. Bymaster/slavebuilt-inpreprogramfunction
2. Byeasy controller
3.ByIL-0824(pleaserefertotheuserguideofiLead controller)oruniversalDMX
controller
Noneedtoturntheunitoffwhenyou changetheDMXaddress,asnewDMXaddress setting
will beeffectedatonce. Everytimeyouturntheuniton,itwillshowIM-8Wonthedisplayand
moveallthemotorstotheir ‘home positionandyoumayhearsomenoisesforabout20
seconds.Afterthat theunit will bereadytoreceiveDMXsignalorrun thebuilt-inprograms.
5.1. Master/Slave Built-In Preprogrammed Function
You canselectblackoutmode in (yesblackout)or (noblackout)
modewhiletheunitisturnedon.Bylinkingtheunitsinmaster/slaveconnection,thefirstunit
willcontroltheotherunitstogiveanautomatic, sound activated, synchronizedlightshow. This
functionisgoodwhenyouwantaninstantshow.You havetoselect (show1)or
(show2)modebyeasycontroller.ItsDMXinputjackwillhavenothing pluggedintoit,
and ItsmasterLEDwill beconstantlyonandsoundLEDwill flashtothemusic.Theother
unitswill havetosetinslavemode and select (normal)or (2light
show)mode,TheirDMXcablespluggedintotheDMXinputjacks(daisychain)andtheslave
LEDlightswill constantlyon.
2-lightshow
In (slavemode), meanstheunitworks normallyand means
2-lightshow.Inordertocreateagreatlightshow,youcan set on thesecondunitto
get contrast movement toeachother, evenif you havetwounitsonly.
5.2. Easy Controller
Theeasy remotecontrolisusedonlyinmaster/slavemode.By
connecting tothe1/4”microphonejack of thefirstunit, youwill find that
theremotecontrolonthefirstunitwillcontrolall theotherunitsfor
Stand by, Function and Mode.
Channel Mode
Press the MENU button up towhenthe isshownon thedisplay. Pressing
ENTER button and thedisplaywill blink.Use DOWN and UP button toselectthe
(16 Channel)or (8Channel)mode. Oncethemodehasbeenselected, press
the ENTER button tosetup orautomaticallyreturntothemainfunctionswithout any
changeafter8seconds.Togo back tothefunctionswithoutanychangepress the MENU
button again.
ShowMode
Press the MENU button up towhenthe isshowing on thedisplay. Pressing ENTER
button and thedisplaywill blink. Use DOWN and UP button toselect the (show1)or
(show2)or (show3)or (show4)mode. Oncethemodehasbeen
selected, press the ENTER button tosetup orautomaticallyreturntothemainfunctions
without anychangeafter8seconds.Togo back tothefunctionswithoutanychangepress the
MENU button again.
Show1mode-Fixtureisplacedon thefloor.Tilt movement angle210°.
Show2mode-Fixtureisfixedunderceiling.Tilt movement angle90°.
Show3mode-Fixtureisplacedon thespeaker,Thespot isalways projecting
totheaudience sdirection; i.einfront of thestage. Pan movement angle(left to
right toleft ): 160°.Tilt movement angle:90°(60°abovehorizon; 30°below
horizon.)
Show4mode-Fixtureisfixedunderceiling.Thespot ismainlyprojecting in
front ofthestage. Pan movement angle(lefttorighttoleft ):160°.Tiltmovement angle:
90°(vertically, front 75°; back 15°)
Slave Mode
Press the MENU button uptowhenthe isshownon thedisplay.Pressing ENTER
buttonandthedisplaywillblink.Use DOWN and UP buttontoselectthe (normal)or
(2lightshow)mode.Oncethemodehasbeenselected,press the ENTER button to
setup orautomaticallyreturntothemainfunctionswithout anychangeafter8seconds.Togo

whenthe isblinkingonthedisplay.Usethe ENTER buttontochangetothemode
(displayinversion),It will automaticallystoreafter8seconds.Orpress the ENTER
button againreturntothemode (displaynormal).Togoback tothefunctionspress
the MENU button.
Displaynormalmodeforthefixtureputting on thefloor.
Displayinversion modeforthefixturefixing underceiling.
FocusAdjust
Press the MENU buttonuptowhenthe isblinkingonthedisplay.Pressing ENTER

180°,pan270°eachtimeyourpress ENTER button.Use DOWN and UP buttontoadjust

Self-Test
Press the MENU buttonuptowhenthe isblinkingonthedisplay.Pressing ENTER
buttonandtheunitwillrunself-testbybuilt-inprogram.Togobacktothefunctionspress the
MENU button again.
