Replace the Remote Control Battery
Replace the remote control battery when it stops (normally
every two years)� Only use a CR2025 lithium cell battery� Keep
in mind that lighting and other room conditions, in addition
to battery age, can aect the operating range of the remote
control�

Handling the Battery
• Improper or incorrect use of batteries may cause corrosion
or battery leakage, which could cause re, personal injury or
damage to property�
• Install the battery correctly by following the polarity (+ and
-) indications in the battery compartment�
• When the battery is exhausted, the remote control will not
function�
• Only use the battery type indicated in this manual�
• Do not dispose of the used battery as domestic waste�
Dispose of it in accordance with local regulations�
• Small button cell batteries such as the one used in the
remote control are easily swallowed by young children and
this is dangerous� Keep loose button cells away from young
children and make sure that the battery holder tray is secure
in the remote control� Seek medical advice if you believe a
cell has been swallowed�
Handling the Remote Control
• Take care of your ngernails when you press and hold the
battery release tab�
• Do not drop or cause impact to the remote control�
• Do not spill water or any liquid on the remote control�
• Do not place the remote control on a wet object�
• Do not place the remote control under direct sunlight or
near sources of excessive heat�
• Remove the battery from the remote control when not in
use for a long period of time, as it could cause corrosion
or battery leakage and may result in physical injury and/or
property damage including re�

plug in your iPod/iPhone� The adapter number is marked at the
back of each dock adapter� The below adapters are provided
with the product� For other iPod/iPhone models, please contact
the store where you purchased your iPod/iPhone�

To charge your iPod/iPhone with power adapter:
1� Connect your adapter to the power socket on the docking
station�
2� Plug the adapter into the mains socket�

2� Connect the included power adapter
to the power socket at the back of the
docking station and plug the adapter
into the mains socket�
1a� Connect the included RCA audio and
video cable to the TV audio and video
input sockets� Please be sure the correct
cable ends colour match�
1b� Connect the included RCA audio and
the S-VIDEO cable to the TV audio and
S-VIDEO sockets�
4� Use the remote control to turn on the power
of the docking station� Turn on your TV or
other speakers; select the correct input signal
on your speaker�
5� Press the Enter button on the remote control
to start the movie on your TV� Or press the Enter button to
access the thumbnail screen and then press the button to
start the photo slideshow�
3� Connect your iPod/iPhone to the docking
station using the correct dock adapter�

1� I cannot start a slideshow with my remote control�
• You cannot start a slideshow remotely� You must use the
iPod’s controls to start a slideshow� After you start the
slideshow, you can control it with your remote control�
For more information about your iPod/iPhone photo
capabilities, refer to your iPod/iPhone documentation�
2� Why is my remote control not responding?
• For the remote control to work as intended with your
iPod/iPhone, it must be running the most updated Apple
software� If your need to upgrade, simply visit the Apple
iPod/iPhone website and follow the instructions there for a
free download�
• If it still does not work, please unplug the power adapter for
1 minute, then plug it back in� This resets the system�
3� Why is there no sound?
• Check if your iPod/iPhone is correctly docked in the docking
station�
• Check if your iPod/iPhone is playing�
• Check if your speaker is turned on, and the right input
source is selected, and the volume is turned up�
• Check if the cable and power adapter are rmly and
correctly connected and plugged in�
4� Why doesn’t the docking station charge my iPod’s
battery?
• Check if your iPod/iPhone is correctly docked in the docking
station�
• Check if your power adapter is rmly plugged in the
docking station and the mains socket�

5� Why doesn’t my remote control function?
• Check if your iPod/iPhone is correctly docked in the docking
station�
• Try the remote control from dierent locations� Strong
lighting or other room conditions can aect the remote
control�
• Make sure nothing is blocking the infrared (IR) signal path
between the remote control and the docking station�
6� Why doesn’t the iPod/iPhone video output function?
• Video cable is not connected properly� Connect the video
cable to the TV, and make sure the cable is inserted rmly
into the correct socket and fully connected to the video
output socket�
• iPod/iPhone TV out setting may be turned o, make sure it
is set to “ON’or “ASK” (see page 11)� For more information,
see the features guide for your iPod/iPhone� Dierent
generation iPod/iPhone have variations in video output
settings�
• iPod/iPhone software compatibility problem, make sure
your iPod/iPhone is running with the most updated Apple
software�

• Please inspect the unit for damage after unpacking�
• Do not continue to operate the unit if you are in any doubt about it working
normally, or if it is damaged in any way - switch o, withdraw the mains plug

Location of Unit
• The unit must be placed on a at stable surface and should not be subjected
to vibrations�
• Do not place the unit on sloped or unstable surfaces as the unit may fall o or
tip over�
• The mains socket must be located near the unit and should be easily accessible�
• This unit is designed for indoor use only�
Temperature
• Avoid extreme degrees of temperature, either hot or cold� Place the unit well
away from heat sources such as radiators or gas/electric res�
• Avoid exposure to direct sunlight and other sources of heat�
Naked Flames
• Never place any type of candle or naked ame on the top of or near the unit�
Moisture
• To reduce the risk of re, electric shock or product damage, do not expose this
unit to rain, moisture, dripping or splashing� No objects lled with liquids, such
as vases, should be placed on the unit�
• If you spill any liquid into the unit, it can cause serious damage� Switch it o at
the mains immediately� Withdraw the mains plug and consult your dealer�
Ventilation
• To prevent the risk of electric shock or re hazard due to overheating, ensure
that curtains and other materials do not obstruct the ventilation vents�

Mains Cable
• Make sure the unit or unit stand is not resting on top of the mains cable, as the
weight of the unit may damage the mains cable and create a safety hazard�
• If the mains cable is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its
service agent, or similarly qualied persons in order to avoid a hazard�
Interference
• Do not place the unit on or near appliances which may cause electromagnetic
interference� If you do, it may adversely aect the operating performance of the
unit, and cause a distorted picture or sound�
Standby
• The STANDBY/ON button on the remote control does not switch o the
unit completely� The unit will continue to draw electricity from the mains
supply while in standby� In the interests of safety and to avoid unnecessary
energy consumption, never leave the unit in standby while unattended for
long periods of time, e�g� overnight, while on holiday or while out of the house�
Disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket�
Batteries
• Batteries used in the remote control for this unit are easily swallowed by young
