Step 1. Check the contents of the box. 


Step 4. Match mounting bracket to EIA rack/
cabinet type. 

Caution: 
The front of the rail
has a black plastic rail guide to assist guiding the chassis
rail into the outer rails.


Step 5. Set the rails to the desired position 



Step 6. Mount the outer slide rail on the rack.



For racks with square holes: 

For racks with round holes: 

Step 7. Install the chassis. 










Step 8. Install the drive trays 
Step 9. Connect the expansion shelves. 


Step 10. Prepare for initial conguration. 







Do not power on the
TrueNAS until Step 13
Step 11. Attach the TrueNAS faceplate 









Step 12. Power on all expansion shelves 


Step 13. Plug in the power cords. 








Step 14. Perform TrueNAS initial software
conguration. 








