OVERVIEW
JDSU’s pocket-sized VFL
(FFL-050) is compact and
ergonomically designed for
comfortable handling and
portability. It is equipped
with a 2.5mm interface,
compatible with connectors
such as SC, ST, and FC,
while the 1.25mm adapter
(sold separately) enables
connection to LC and MU
connectors.
The VFL emits a bright beam
of red laser light (Class II),
and as the light escapes
from the damaged ber,
the illumination is easily
visible from a distance. The
CONTINUOUS/FLASH control
button allows the option
for continuous or ashing
illumination.

OPERATING PROCEDURES
Pull off the rubber dust cap and attach a 2.5mm1.
connector (or use the 1.25mm adapter to attach
a 1.25mm connector) to the connector input on
top of the unit.
