com onents is given in this leaflet. If any com onents are missing, lease contact the number on the
front of this assembly instruction.
This roduct is HEAVY, it should be assembled as near as ossible to the oint of use. TAKE CARE
WHEN LIFTING to avoid ersonal injury or damage to the roduct.
This roduct takes a roximately 60 MINUTES to assemble with 2 PEOPLE.
The fittings ack contains SMALL ITEMS which should be KEPT AWAY FROM YOUNG
CHILDREN.

Step by step assembly instructions
Ste One
Lay arts (02) and (03) on the ground. Please lace the arts on a smooth surface, in order not to
scratch the aint.
All fittings (A) must be screwed into into the re fitted cams on the side anels (02), and (03). Fittings
(B) must be screwed on the side anels (02) and (03) (holes redrilled), by using a screw driver and 4
x screws (C).

Ste Two
Lay arts (01), (04) and (08) on the ground. Please lace the arts on a smooth surface, in order not
to scratch the aint.
All fittings (A) must be screwed into the re fitted cams on the arts (01), (04) and (08). Fittings (F)
must be screwed on the shelf (04) (holes redrilled), by using a screw driver and 4 x screws (C).
Ste Three
Lay art (09) on the ground. Please lace the art on a smooth surface, in order not to scratch the
aint.
All fittings (A) must be screwed into the re fitted cams on the front anel (09).

Ste Four
Two ersons required.
Please osition (02), (03), (04) and (08) arts as shown in the icture. All fittings (A) must go into
re ared holes with the cam. Side anels (02), and (03) must attach to the shelf (04) and base (08)
according to the arrows direction shown. If cams don’t lock into lace lease use screwdriver to adjust
them. After all ieces are re assembled, lease use a screw driver to tighten u all the com onents.

Ste Five
Two ersons required.
Please osition the assembled wardrobe com onents vertically on the base of the wardrobe, as
shown in the diagram. Su ort (06) and front (09) must attach to wardrobe frame according to the
arrows direction shown. Tighten u the attached arts with screw driver.
If the locking device is closed lease
ensure you o en it as shown below

Ste Six
Two ersons required.
Please attach to (01) as shown er icture. Tighten the to (01) with a screw driver.
To remove the su orting door system lease un-screw the middle screw as shown below. This is a 2
man job – the other erson should secure the other side. After this is done, insert 1 x sham handle (E)
into hole.

Ste Seven
Please insert 1 x sham key handle (E) into the front of the door lock and secure screw from inside the
door. Attach the back anel to the wardrobe, use 32 x screws (G) to tighten the anel to the wardrobe.
After this is done, insert hanging rail (05) into a fitting (D), as shown on the icture. Hanging rail (05)
must be laced to re screwed (Ste one) 2 x fittings (B) on side anels. Fitting (D) that is on the
hanging rail must be fully closed while you lace hanging rail (05). After you laced hanging rail (05),
lease s in the fitting (D) so that it starts to touch shelf (04). Please tighten fitting (D) using 2 x screws
(C) to the holes re ared.
Please adjust the magnets by hand to get doors in right osition.

Care and Maintenance
The Downton range is a timeless ainted bedroom range in either white with metal cu handles or
ivory with solid oak to s and metal cu handles. Each iece has been carefully constructed to ensure it
will give you years of leasure. The natural characteristics of oak may include small cracks, knots,
blemishes, and grain attern variations which all add to the natural charm and beauty of this furniture
roduct. Each iece is unique, and for this reason no two ieces within the range will erfectly match,
however there will be harmony between all the ieces you may have urchased.
All timber surfaces will change colour and mellow over time. New furniture will initially vary in shade
from items that have been reviously urchased.
How to care for your furniture
Try to avoid rolonged ex osure to direct sunlight as this may alter the colour and tone of your
furniture over time.
Any s illages that do ha en should be wi ed u immediately with a clean dry lint free cloth to avoid
marking the surface of the furniture.
Safety Instructions
General warnings:
Never drag furniture when moving it, always lift it. Periodically check all fixings to ensure none have
come loose and re-tighten where necessary. Please take care when handling or moving the furniture as
careless handling may cause damage or injury.
Furniture can be dangerous if incorrectly installed. Assembly should be carried out by a com etent
erson. No liability will be acce ted for damage or injury caused by incorrectly installed or assembled
furniture.
S ecific warnings for heavy items:
It is recommended that before moving heavy objects to a new location they are com letely
disassembled to avoid ersonal injury or damage to the furniture. Please be careful to retain all fittings
when doing this.
