Somefurnitureisalsodeliberatelyagedandrustic.
Woodveneersalsoallowdistinctive patternstobecreatedonsome surfaces,suchastabletopsanddrawer
frontsbythewaysliversarearranged.
Alltimberandveneersurfaceswillchangecolourandmellowover time.Newfurniturewillinitiallyvary inshade
fromitemsthathavebeenpreviouslypurchased.
Howto careforyourwoodfurniture
Dustwithaclean,damp,lint freecloth.Frequentdustingwillremoveabrasive buildup,which candamagethe
finishovertime.
Donotuseaverywetclothorallowanyliquidtocontactwiththe veneersforalongperiod oftimeas this can
permanentlydamagethesurface.Wipeupspillsimmediately.
Donotuseanyabrasive cleanerorharshdetergentasthiscandamagethesurfaceofthefurniture.
Spraypolishesarebestavoidedastheycontainsiliconeswhichmayspoilthe furniture'ssurfaceby buildingup
over time.
Makesure allsurfacesareprotectedfromheatandliquidsbymatsandcoasters.
Ensure thatamatorpadisplacedunderpaperwhenyouarewritingonthefurniture surface.
Donotplacerubberorplasticmaterialsonthe woodfinishaschemicalswithinmayreactwiththefinishifleftin
contact foranextendedperiodoftime.
Ourfurniture willendure mosttemperaturesinthehome but itisbesttoavoidplacingfurniturenexttoheat
sourcessuch as radiatorsorfires.Beparticularlycarefulwithsolidwoodasthe lackofhumiditycausedby home
heatingcancausedamagesuchaswarping,crackingorsplitting.
Excessive exposuretosunlightcancausefadingofyour furniture.
Generalwarnings:
Neverdragfurniturewhenmovingit.Alwaysliftit.
