1. Cautions
This section contains important information to ensure the user's safety and prevent potential damage to

Notes
1. Master PIN Code: Default Master PIN code is [12345678],please modify it immediately.
2. User PIN Code: It can be 6~12 digits number. You can register and up to 10 groups.

09 Duress User * Working with wireless module when duress event occurs
3. Card: It is optional. Maximum capacity is 100 with user number [00-99].
4. Fingerprint: Maximum capacity is 100 with user number [00-99]
5. Be sure to correctly match the poles (+/-) when installing the batteries. Install the batteries with the correct poles (+/-).
6. Replace all batteries immediately after they run out of power, and never mix new batteries with used ones.

3. Before Installation
Setting the Handle Direction of the KX-T
Prior to installing your brand new KX-T you need to set the directional screws on the inside/outside and the mortise
of the lock itself. This is because the KX can be fitted to an inward/outward and right/left hand opening door. When
you look at the door from the outside, what side is your current lock on? Which way does the door open inwards or
outwards?
If your door has the: -
Door handle on the left-hand side of your door, opening inwards – Set the KX-T to “Right-in open” as
outlined in the image 3.1 above
Door handle on the left-hand side of your door, opening outwards - Set the KX-T to “Right-out open” as
outlined in the image 3.1 above
Door handle on the right-hand side of your door, opening inwards - Set the KX-T to “Left-in open” as
outlined in the image 3.1 above

4.Installation Steps
4.1
Mark and drill bores by using the
installation template first, then fix the
mortise into the door frame.
4.2 Tighten the 4 screws to fix the mortise
on the door.
4.3 Fix 4 screw bolts on the front escutcheon 4.4 place square shaft and pressure spring
into the bore .
4.5 Pass the connection wire through the top
bore. 4.6 Install the mounting plate with fixing screws tightly against the door surface.
4.7 Place pressure spring and square shaft
in the back escutcheon in proper order.
4.8 Insert the connecting wires of front escutcheon into
the related sockets of the back escutcheon. Then align
and insert the square shaft into mortise hole, make
the back escutcheon against the door closely.
4.9
Install the batteries and the battery cover.
Covers the rubber plug, then install the
striker assembly to finish installation. 4.10 Please check if they are working properly.

5.How to program
5.1 How to access into master mode
1. Touching the keypad area will light up number pad.
2. Press [ * * ] (* twice) , then enter master PIN code
[defalut is 12345678] with end of [ # ].
3.Voice prompt ”Master mode”
Notes:
Change master PIN code is required immediately for menu operation.
