unauthorizedpersonsinanyway.
Precautionsmustbetakeninordertoprevent anyharmful
substancesfromleaking orspilling intothemoduleand
telephoneinanyway.
Fortheproper operationofyourmoduleandtelephone,please
make sure thatthefollowing criteriaare satisfied:
•Itmustnotbepermittedtousethemodulesandtelephonesintotheplaces
wherethetemperatureisoutoftherangeof0Co to+40Co ;therelative
humidityisabove80%;exposedtodirectsunlightand themodulesmaybe
incontact withwater,oil ordust.
•Anything,whichmaypreventproperventilationofthesystemmayberisky
and affecttheperformanceofthesystem.
•Yourtelephoneand themodulecan alsobehung onthewall.Forthis
purpose,pleaseaskthespecialaccessory‘wall-hangingbracket’fromyour
authorizeddealer.
•PleasenotethatyoucanhangyourphoneonthewallwithoneDSS module
atmost.
•IfyouwanttoconnectmorethanoneDSS toyourphone,absolutelyaskthe
specialpoweradapterfromyourauthorizeddealer. It isnot recommendedto
useanyotheradapter.

InDSorIPV50 SeriesSystemsDSS modulesdirectlyconnecttotherelatedNTdigital
phoneset. Thereisno needtospecificallyintroducethedigitalDSS modulestothesystem
sotheterminalnumbersetting isnot required.DSS modulesdirectlycommunicatewiththe
systemoverthedigitalNTphone.
ThedigitalDSS moduleconsistsof24programmablekeys in12x2matrixstructure.There
isapaperonDSS3K-24 moduletowriteassignednames,numbersorservices.Also
DSS3L-24modulehasanLCDscreenwhichusercan see theassignednames,numbers
orservices.
UTILIZATION
Therearesomefacilitiesfordifferentsituationsinordertousetheprogrammablekeys on
DSS module.
Itisenoughtopress therelatedDSSkeyifaserviceiswantedtobeactivated.
Ifanextension orlinenumberisassignedtothekey,thecallisstartedjustbypressingthis
key. Whileinaconversationwithaprogrammednumberifthiskeyispressed,thecallwill
beparked. Thecall canberetrieveduponpressing thekeyagain.
