Control of flooding time to deactivate the releasing output after a set period of time. EN12094-1 Section 4.21.
Manual only mode to disable the release of extinguishant via automatic detection devices.EN12094-1
Section 4.23.
Extinguishing signals to spare cylinders enables the switching to a spare set of cylinders following a discharge to
return the system to a functional state. EN12094-1 Section 4.25.
Emergency Abort device to inhibit the extinguishing signal until the emergency abort device has been de-activated
and the Panel has been reset. EN12094-1 Section 4.27.

Disablements
During maintenance and testing users can disable functions on the panel to prevent false activations, evacuations
etc. Disablements will be indicated as follows:
• General Disablement LED will be illuminated
• Specific Disablement LED will illuminate indicating the function/circuit that is disabled i.e. Zone 1 disabled,
Sounder disabled etc.
• Buzzer will sound continuously
• LCD will display the current active state of the zone. Inside the brackets this will be:
(NORMAL) - No active faults or fires on zone
(FAULT) - An Active fault exists on the detection zone. Enabling a zone with an active fault will activate the fault
condition for that zone.
(IN FIRE) - An active fire exists on the on the detection zone. Enabling a zone with an active fire condition will
activate a fire event for that zone triggering all associated fire cause and effects.
Important safety information!!
The status of detection zones must be checked before enabling any detection zones, it must be
ensured the zone status in the brackets shows (NORMAL) before enabling. A panel reset should be
completed prior to enabling to clear any active latched alarm or fault conditions. If the zone status
remains in fire or fault state after a reset the condition will need to be addressed on the zone itself i.e.
clear smoke from detector, repair fault.
VIGILANCE MUST BE MAINTAINED DURING DISABLEMENT PERIODS
Note: Disablements should be cleared as soon as the reason for disablement has completed.
