Check the following:
●Fit the cooking bowl by aligning the locating tab to the back of the power unit, then press
down lightly to secure.
●Ensure the lid is assembled and fitted correctly.

How to select your language on the appliance.
Please follow these steps:
1. Tap the settings menu .
2. Tap “Language”.
3. Select your desired language.
4. Tap to confirm your selection.

How do I set up my CookEasy+ with the Kenwood World app?
Before starting, check the following:
●Make sure your Wi-Fi router is switched on and connected to the internet.
●Have your appliance plugged in and the On/Off switch in the On position.
●Have your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and Wi-Fi network password ready (remember,
passwords are case sensitive).
●Make sure your smart device’s location settings are turned on (for Android only).
If you are using the app for the first time:
1. Open the Kenwood World app
2. Select “sign up” to create a Kenwood World account or “log in” if you already have one.
3. Follow the instructions shown to set up your appliance.
If you previously skipped the initial appliance set up, follow these steps:
1. Open the app.
2. Tap the “Kitchen” icon.
3. Tap “Add an Appliance”.
4. Scroll, choose your appliance and select “Connect”.
5. Follow the instructions shown.

Note:
●You will be prompted to select the KENWOOD123456 (or similar) network from your smart
device’s WiFi settings. Once selected, your smart device may display “No Internet
Connection” next to the network name, this is normal.
●When you first start the appliance set up process an update may begin. This will cause an
error to be displayed on the app. Please wait for the update to finish and restart the
appliance set up process.
●If the set up process fails or cannot connect, ensure you have checked the “before starting”
points above.
●If the display stops showing KENWOOD123456 (or similar) before you connect to the
KENWOOD123456 network, you may need to restart the process.

Is my CookEasy+ connected to my Wi-Fi network?
Check the Wi-Fi symbol on the display screen:
●A solid symbol (not flashing) means your appliance is connected and ready to use.
Note: The number of bars displayed on the Wi-Fi symbol indicates the strength of the signal
being received.
●A flashing symbol means your appliance is trying to connect to a Wi-Fi network but is unable
to do so (see “My CookEasy+ cannot connect to the Wi-Fi network”).
●If there is no Wi-Fi symbol, either your appliance has never been connected to a Wi-Fi
network or appliance’s Wi-Fi settings have been reset.
To change to a different Wi-Fi network, see “How do I connect my CookEasy+ to a different Wi-Fi
network?”.

My CookEasy+ cannot connect to the Wi-Fi network.
When connecting your appliance to the Wi-Fi network, make sure you have your Wi-Fi network
name (SSID) and Wi-Fi network password ready (remember, passwords are case sensitive).
Connection issues can happen for a number of reasons:
●Check your Wi-Fi router is switched on and connected to the internet.
●Check with your Wi-Fi network provider for any service issues.
●Make sure your Wi-Fi router is within range of your appliance.
●Try turning your Wi-Fi router off and on.
●Reset your Wi-Fi router. Important: Resetting your router will restore it to factory settings
and any customisations will be lost (changes to network name, password, etc.) and you may
have to reconnect any devices or appliances previously connected to it.

●Ensure that your router is operating on a 2.4GHz band (check with the manufacturer’s
instructions for how to do this).
●Check that your router’s security protocols are set to either WPA or WPA2 (see
manufacturer’s instructions for how to do this).
●If you have a hidden network, you will need to check the manufacturer’s instructions in
order to broadcast the Wi-Fi network name (SSID).
●If you are trying to connect to a captive portal (such as hotel’s Wi-Fi network), you will need
to contact the network administrator with the appliance’s MAC address. To find the MAC
address:
1. Tap “Settings” .
2. Select “About Appliance”.

How do I connect my CookEasy+ to a different Wi-Fi network?
Your CookEasy+ will only save one Wi-Fi network at a time, to switch networks follow the steps
below:
Before starting:
●Make sure your Wi-Fi router is switched on and connected to the internet.
●Have your appliance plugged in and the On/Off switch in the On position.
●Have your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and Wi-Fi network password ready (remember,
passwords are case sensitive).
●Make sure your smart device’s location settings are turned on (for Android only).
1. Turn on your appliance.
2. Tap “Settings” .
3. Select “WiFi”.
4. Select “Forget Network…”.
5. Open the app.
6. Tap the “Kitchen” icon.
7. Tap “Add an Appliance”.
8. Scroll, choose your appliance and select “Connect”.
9. Follow the instructions shown.
Note:
•You will be prompted to press and hold down the OK button, if you don’t see a name similar
to KENWOOD123456 or a PIN code on the display screen, wait 10 seconds and try again.
•You will be prompted to select the KENWOOD123456 (or similar) network from your smart
device’s WiFi settings. Once selected, your smart device may display “No Internet
Connection” next to the network name, this is normal.
•If the set up process fails or cannot connect, ensure you have checked the “before
connecting” points above.
•If display stops showing KENWOOD123456 (or similar) before you connect to the
KENWOOD123456 network, you may need to restart the process.

Why is the Wi-Fi symbol on the display screen not full?
The number of bars shown on the Wi-Fi symbol indicates the strength of the signal the appliance
is receiving:
●A full Wi-Fi symbol indicates a strong signal.
●Fewer bars on the Wi-Fi symbol indicates a weaker signal.

Why is my CookEasy+ Updating?
Kenwood is constantly working to improve its products to provide a better user experience and, as
part of this, we occasionally release new WiFi software updates. These updates improve things such
as security and features.
Here are some useful points:
●When updating, your CookEasy+ will show “Updating WiFi...” on the display screen.
●You won’t be able to go through the appliance setup process on the app if there’s an update
in progress (an error message may be displayed on the app if this occurs). Please wait for the
update to finish and restart the appliance set up process.

How do I know if my CookEasy+ is cooking via the Kenwood World
app (remote mode)?
When your appliance is cooking via the app, its display screen will show “Remote Mode”.

To exit remote mode, either:

How do I change the Time, Temperature and Speed settings?
1. On the front of the appliance, select the setting you wish to change.
2. Turn the control dial to select your desired time, speed and temperature.
3. Press control dial to start the process.
Unfortunately, the settings cannot be changed using the app.

How to use the Direct Prep.
The Direct Prep can be used to slice or grate ingredients directly into the bowl or into a side dish.
Follow these steps:
1. Remove the Direct Prep outlet cover.
2. Fit the tower on to the Direct Prep outlet by aligning the , then press the release button
and turn anti-clockwise to secure into place.
3. Holding by the centre grip, push the desired cutting disc on to the drive shaft.
4. Fit the slinger plate on to the drive shaft with the “TOP” lettering facing towards the cutting
disc.
5. Fit the Direct Prep lid to the base by turning in a clockwise direction.
6. Attach the food prep attachment to the tower by aligning the and turn clockwise to lock
into place.
7. Once assembled, press the release button and turn the Direct Prep to the desired position.
8. Cut the food to fit the feed tube.
9. Press the Direct Prep Start/Stop button and, at the same time, push down evenly with the
pusher.

Which cutting disc should I use?
If you are following a Kenwood World app recipe, the recipe will tell you which disc to use.
If you are following your own recipe, here are some tips on which discs to use (for ease of reference,
the discs have identifying numbers marked on them):
Disc No. 1 - Extra fine grating disc for Parmesan cheese.
Disc No. 2 - Fine grating disc for cheese and firm fruit or vegetables.
Disc No. 3 - Coarse grating disc for cheese and firm fruit or vegetables.
Disc No. 4 - Thin slicing disc for cheese and firm fruit or vegetables.
Disc No. 5 - Thick slicing disc for cheese and firm fruit or vegetables.
Please note:
•Dependent on your model variant, you may not have all discs available.

How to use the slow cook plug.
Follow these steps:
1. Remove the bowl drive shaft by unlocking the drive shaft nut on the underside of the bowl.
Then lift out.
2. Fit the bowl plug ensuring the seal is fitted and turn the drive shaft nut clockwise to lock in
place.

Most of the parts can go in the dishwasher. See the list below for items that cannot go in the

Can I turn off sounds on my CookEasy+?
Yes, sounds can be muted by following these steps:
1. Tap “Settings” .
2. Select “Sounds”.
3. Toggle the button to “Off”.
Please note:
•Sounds will automatically come back on when the appliance is turned off and back on again.

How do I disassemble the lid for washing?
1. Remove the filler cap.
2. Push the lid inner section out.
3. Remove the seal from the inner lid section.
4. After washing, fit the seal back on to the outer lid section with the thicker edge uppermost
and reverse the above procedure.
Note: Leaking from the lid will occur if the seal is not fitted correctly.

What is the cooking bowl capacity?
The cooking bowl has a maximum working capacity of 3L / 105 ½ fl oz.
This is large enough for 10 people.
