Use as a hot air blower/blow torch
Option 1
1. Below instructions based on fully assembled soldering iron.
2. Remove the solder tip (1) from the soldering tip assembly (3) by rotating the solder tip (1) counter-clockwise.
3. K15351 is now ready for hot air blower operation.
4. Ignite K15351 specified in “lighting and operation”.
Option 2
1. Below instructions based on fully assembled soldering iron.
2. Remove the solder tip from the soldering tip assembly by rotating the soldering tip anti-clockwise,
from the gas torch shroud (4).
3. Rotate the lock nut (5) anti-clockwise to remove the gas torch shroud from the soldering iron.
4. Stand the gas torch shroud upright with the lock nut facing down, this will allow the soldering tip
assembly (3) to be removed from the gas torch shroud.
5. Reinstall the gas torch shroud by rotating the lock nut clockwise, until tight.
6. K15351 is now ready for use in blow torch operation.
7. Ignite K15351 as specified in “lighting and operation”.

Cleaning & maintenance
WARNING! Never use solvents or other harsh chemicals for cleaning any parts of the tool. These chemicals may
weaken the plastic materials used in these parts. Use a cloth dampened only with water and mild soap. Never let
any liquid get inside the tool; never immerse any part of the tool into a liquid.
Storage
1. Ensure that continuous lock (8) is in the “OFF” position.
2. Release igniter switch (7).
3. Allow several minutes for tool to cool.
4. Install protective cap (14) firmly and ensure igniter switch is in the OFF position.
5. Store torch out of reach of children in the protective case.
6. Do not expose/store tool to temperatures in excess of 45°C.
7. Store K15351 in well ventilated areas.

There are no spare parts available for this product. Additional solder is available at your local hardware store.
