•Keep the projector away from water and any other liquids.
•CAUTION: This projector must be fixed properly on a surface (for example, floor, table),
wall or ceiling to avoid potential accidents.
•Do not look directly into the light from the projector lens when in use. This can cause
permanent damage to your eyes.
•Do not cover any of the vents on the projector. This may cause overheating and/or the
projector to malfunction.
•To allow for adequate ventilation, leave at least a 10cm clearance between the
projector and any walls or obstructions.
•Do not place the projector near or on open flames (for example, candles) and any other
hot items.
•If the power cord is damaged, stop use and contact help.Kogan.com for assistance.
•Ensure the power cord is visible at all times.
•Do not hide or bury the power cord under carpet or other floor coverings as this may
cause a potential tripping hazard.
•This remote control may have the same frequency as remote control from other devices
and cause an interference. This is normal.
•Do not attempt to repair the projector yourself.

Note:
The adjustable support base allows the projector to be adjusted by up to 15°. We
recommend a projection angle between 0°- 8° for the best viewing experience.

Note:
The image size depends on the distance between projector and screen. There may be
up to a 3% deviation from the data listed above as different settings can affect viewing
distances.
Placement and mounting
Before using the projector, select an appropriate area that has reduced brightness to allow
for the best viewing results.
If the projector will be mounted to the ceiling, this projector supports most universal wall
mounts (sold separately).
If the projector will be placed on the table, you may insert the support base onto the bottom
of the projector to create a more level surface for the projector to sit on.
Projection size and distance
(Aspect Ratio: 16:9, Default)
Follow the data in chart below, to adjust the image size and the distance. Distance
provided is measured from lens to projected surface.

BEFORE FIRST USE

1. Connect the power cord as shown below and turn on the power socket. The indicator
light will turn red, meaning the projector has entered standby.
2.Remove the lens cover and press the power button on the control panel or remote
control to turn on the projector.
3.If the projector is mounted to the ceiling, the projection will need to be inverted. On the
remote control, press MENU > PICTURE > Projection Mode and select one of the ceiling
mounted options (Front/Ceiling, or Rear Ceiling) as referenced below.
If the projector is on the table, press MENU > PICTURE > Projection Mode and select
one of the table mounted options (Front or Rear) as referenced below.

OPERATION

4.Keep the projector straight and level with the projected screen. Adjust the projector for
trapezoid correction. The projected screen should result in a rectangle.

If moving the projector still results in a trapezoid projection, try performing keystone
adjustment.
Keystone adjustment
Scroll the keystone adjustment dial until the projection becomes rectangular.
Note:
If initial attempts at keystone adjustment do not lead to a rectangular projection, try
reducing the vertical height of the projector in relation to the centre of the screen.

Note:
If connecting with an Apple device (for example, iPad, iPhone), you may need to use a
Lightning digital AV adapter to connect via HDMI.
Focus
The initial projection may be blurry and out of focus. Scroll the manual focus dial on the
projector until the projection becomes clear.
Multimedia connection
This projector is capable of connecting to various forms of multimedia. These include:
•USB
•HDMI
•MHL
•AV cable
•Audio out
USB connection
•Insert a USB into one of the USB input ports.
•Press the SOURCE button on the remote control or Source/down on the control panel.
•On screen, press Input source > ‘USB’ as the signal source.
•Press Play/pause to begin watching content. Press Play/pause again to stop
watching.
HDMI connection
This projector supports most devices with HDMI ports.
•Connect a HDMI cable (not provided) to the projector and your device.
•Press the SOURCE button on the remote control or Source/down on the control panel.
•On screen, press Input source > ‘HDMI 1’ or ‘HDMI 2’ as the signal source.
Note:
It is normal if the centre of the projection is sharp and has slightly blurred edges.

MHL connection
This projector is compatible with MHL.
•Connect a MHL cable (not included) to your device and the HDMI or USB ports
accordingly.
•Press the SOURCE button on the remote control or Source/down on the control panel.
•On screen, press Input source then the appropriate signal source connected into the
projector.
AV connection
•Use the included AV cable to connect the AV output of your device.
•Press the SOURCE button on the remote control or Source/down on the control panel.
•On screen, press Input source > ‘AV’ as the signal source.
Audio out connection
Use an audio cable to connect your device to the projector’s 3.5mm headphone jack.
