Before You Begin
CAUTION:Risk of personal injury or product damage. This
lavatory is made of marble. Two people are needed to lift the lavatory
into the mounting position.
CAUTION: Risk of product damage. Do not use plumbers putty
with your marble lavatory. Plumbers putty can cause permanent
discoloration of marble surfaces.
-Refer to the Homeowners Guide to determine all necessary
components for your installation.
-Do not install this lavatory on a glass countertop. The weight of the
lavatory may damage the glass.
-Remove the lavatory from its carton and inspect for damage.
-During installation, store the lavatory in the protective carton
whenever possible.
-Observe all local plumbing and building codes.

2. Position the Template
-Determine your desired cut-out location.
NOTE: The lavatory center must be at least 12” (30.5cm) from the
wall to ensure there is no interference between the lavatory and the
wall.
-Cutoutthetemplatealongtheinsidelinelabeled“Cut-Out”usinga
scissors.
-Position the template on the countertop in the desired location. Make
sure the template is secured firmly in place so it cannot move.
-Make sure there is adequate clearance between the lavatory, faucet,
and backsplash.
-Tracetheinsideedgeofthetemplateonthecountertopwithapencil.
-Mark the exact centers of the four drilling holes.
-If installing the K-2333- 1, mark the faucet supply hole location.
-Remove the template.
3. Drill the Mounting Holes
-Drill four 5/16” holes at the marked hole centers.
-Using a saber saw, cut the sink hole in the countertop following the
marked line.
-If installing the K-2333- 1, cut or drill the faucet supply hole now.

4. Install the Faucet
CAUTION: Risk of product damage. Do not use plumbers putty
with your marble lavatory. Plumbers putty can cause permanent
discoloration of marble surfaces.
When Installing the Faucet for the K-2333-0
-Install the faucet to the wall according to the manufacturer’s
instructions.
-Ensure that there is enough clearance for hand washing.
-Make sure the faucet has a minimum of 1” (2.5cm) clearance over
the rim of the lavatory.
-Direct the stream of water toward the center of the lavatory.
When Installing the Faucet for the K-2333-1
-Install the faucet to the faucet deck on the lavatory according to the
faucet manufacturer’s instructions.
NOTE: If employing the K- 7702 pop- up drain with this installation, it
may be necessary to drill an additional mounting hole in the connecting
link using a 5/16” drill bit. If needed reference the pop-up drain
installation instructions for part descriptions.
5. Attach the Threaded Studs
-Using a marker, mark a spot 1/2” (1.3cm) from one end of each of
the four provided 70mm threaded studs.
-Screw the marked end of each stud into an insert on the bottom of
the lavatory. Do not screw the studs past the previously made mark.

6. Position the Lavatory
CAUTION:Risk of personal injury or product damage. This
lavatory is very heavy. Two people should lift the lavatory into place.
CAUTION:Risk of product damage. When lifting the lavatory into
place, do not bump the studs against solid objects. Do not support the
lavatory on the studs at any time.
-Place a continuous bead of silicone sealant on the countertop 1/8”
(3mm) from the outside edge of the stud holes.
-Position the lavatory on the countertop. Each stud should go
through one of the four previously drilled holes.
-Press down firmly.
CAUTION: Risk of product damage. Do not tighten the nuts more
than 1/2 turn past hand tight. Damage to the lavatory may result.
-Thread a washer and nut onto each of the studs from underneath the
countertop. Tighten the nuts 1/2 turn past hand tight.
-Wipe away any excess sealant.
7. Install the Drain
-Install the drain to the lavatory according to the drain
manufacturer’s instructions.
-Finish the faucet installation and check for leaks.

Avant de Commencer

sa position.
ATTENTION : Risque d’endommagement du produit. Ne pas
utiliser du mastic d’étanchéité avec votre lavabo en marbre. Le mastic
d’étanchéité peut décolorer de façon permanente les surfaces de marbre.
-Reportez-vous au Guide du Propriétaire afin de déterminer les
composants nécessaires qui correspondent à votre installation.
-N’installez pas ce lavabo sur un comptoir en verre. Le poids du
lavabo pourra endommager le verre.
-Déballez le lavabo et examinez le soigneusement pour en déceler tout
dommage.
-Pendant l’installation, remettre le lavabo dans l’emballage de protection.
-Respectez tous les codes de plomberie et de bâtiment locaux.

2. Positionnez le Plan
-Déterminez l’emplacement exact.
REMARQUE : Le centre du lavabo doit être au moins à 12” (30,5 cm)
du mur, pour assurer qu’il n’y a pas d’interférence entre le mur et le
lavabo.
-Découpez le plan le long de la ligne marquée “Cut- Out” en utilisant
une paire de ciseaux.
-Positionnez votre plan sur le comptoir à l’emplacement désiré.
Assurez-vous que votre plan soit très fermement en place.
-Assurez-vous qu’il y ait un espace suffisant entre le lavabo, le
robinetetledosseret.
-Tracez à l’aide d’un crayon la ligne de découpe du plan sur le
comptoir.
-Marquezlecentreexactàchaqu’undes4trous.
-Si vous installez le K- 2333- 1, marquez le trou du bec.
-Enlevez le plan.
3. Percez les Orifices de Fixation
-Percer quatre orifices de Ø 5/16” aux emplacements marqués
précédemment.
-Utilisant une scie sauteuse, faites la découpez du lavabo en suivant
les marquages.
-Si vous installez le K- 2333- 1, découpez ou marquez le trou du bec
maintenant.

4. Installez le Robinet
ATTENTION : Risque d’endommagement du produit. Ne pas
utiliser du mastic d’étanchéité avec votre lavabo en marbre. Le
mastic d’étanchéité peut décolorer de façon permanente les surfaces
de marbre.
Quand vous installez le Robinet pour le K--2333--0
-Installez le robinet au mur selon la notice du fabricant qui
accompagne le produit.
-Assurez-vous qu’il y ait assez d’espace pour se laver les mains.
-Assurez-vous aussi que le robinet ait un minimum d’espace de 1”
(2,5cm)audessusduborddulavabo.
-Dirigez le jet de l’eau vers le centre du lavabo.
Quand vous installez le Robinet pour le K--2333--1
-Assemblezlerobinetsurl’espacedeposedurobinetaulavabo
conformément à la notice du fabricant.
REMARQUE : Si vous employez le drain télescopique K-7702 avec
cette installation, il vous sera peut être nécessaire de percer un trou
additionnel dans la tige de connexion avec une mèche de 5/16”.
Referez- vous aux instructions d’installation du drain télescopique pour
les descriptions des pièces.
5. Attachez les Tiges Filetées
-Utilisant un feutre, marquez les 4 tiges filetées fournies de 70 mm à
1/2” (1,3 cm) d’une des extrémités.
-Vissez chaque extrémité marquée sous le lavabo. Ne vissez pas les
tiges au delà des marques.
