Before You Begin
Observe all local plumbing and building codes.
Shut off the water supplies.
Carefully inspect waste and supply tubing for any sign of
damage and replace if necessary.
For new installations, assemble the faucet on the sink before
installing the sink.
Before installation, unpack the new faucet and inspect it for
damage. Return the faucet to the carton until you are ready to
install it.
Contains anti-siphon valving.
Kohler Co. reserves the right to make revisions in the design of
faucets without notice, as specified in the Price Book.

1. Faucet Installation
Slide the gasket over the faucet supply hoses and against the
faucet underside.
Feed the faucet supply hoses and hose outlet through the sink
hole.
Position the faucet on the sink to obtain the desired alignment.
Fit the bracket and washer on the threaded stud.
Secure the bracket and washer with the nut.
2. Handspray Installation
Separate Handspray
Apply a bead of plumbers putty or other sealant to the underside
of the spray escutcheon according to the manufacturer’s
instructions.
Insert the spray holder through the sink hole.
Hand tighten the nut to the spray holder from under the sink.
Remove any excess putty or sealant.
Insert the handspray hose through the spray escutcheon.
Attach the hose to the hose outlet using thread sealant.

3. Supply Installation
NOTE: If the sink is not installed, install it at this time. Be sure to
follow all instructions packed with the sink.
Tighten all connections.
4. Installation Checkout
Remove the aerator from the end of the spout by turning it
counterclockwise.
Turn on the main water supply.
Open the faucet handle to the ON position.
Flush hot then cold water through the faucet for about one
minute.
Push the faucet handle down to the OFF position.
Reattach the aerator by turning it clockwise.

5. Water Temperature Adjustment
NOTE: Before adjusting the water temperature, ensure that the
handle is turned all the way to the left. This is the maximum hot
position.
Remove the plug button, O-ring, and screw from the handle.
Remove the handle and bonnet from the faucet body.
Lift the valve stem up and off the stop tab. The water will turn
on.
Align the stop tab with the mounting nut to establish the
maximum temperature.
Mark the maximum temperature on the mounting nut with a
marker or pencil.
Lift up the indexer and disk to clear the splines.
NOTE: Each spline notch represents approximately 9.5° F (5.3° C).
Turn the indexer, disk and valve stem counterclockwise, until the
temperature is properly adjusted.
Push down the indexer and disk to cover the splines after the
temperature is adjusted. Ensure that the disk is fully snapped into
the indexer.
Push the valve stem down onto the stop tab. The water will turn
off.
Reinstall the bonnet, handle, O-ring, screw, and plug button.

Avant de commencer
Respecter tous les codes de plomberie et de bâtiment locaux.
Couper les alimentations d’eau.
Vérifier avec soin si l’évacuation ou les tubes d’alimentation pour
déceler tout signe d’endommagement et remplacer si nécessaire.
Pour de nouvelles installations, installer le robinet sur l’évier
avant d’installer ce dernier.
Avant l’installation, déballer le nouveau robinet et l’examiner
pour en déceler tout dommage. Remettre le robinet dans son
emballage de protection jusqu’à être prêt à l’installation.

1. Installation du robinet
Glisser le joint sur les flexibles d’alimentation et le dessous du
robinet.
Passer les tuyaux d’alimentation du robinet et la sortie du flexible
par l’orifice prévu dans l’évier.
Positionner le robinet sur l’évier pour obtenir l’alignement désiré.
Ajuster le support et la rondelle sur le montant fileté.
Sécuriser le support et la rondelle avec l’écrou.
2. Installer le vaporisateur
Vaporisateur séparé
Appliquer du mastic de plombier ou un joint semblable sous
l’applique du vaporisateur selon les instructions du fabricant.
Insérer le support du vaporisateur dans l’orifice de l’évier.
Serrer à la main l’écrou au support du vaporisateur d’en-dessous
de l’évier.
Retirer tout excédent de mastic de plombier ou de joint
d’étanchéité.
Introduire le tuyau du vaporisateur dans l’applique de ce dernier.
Attacher le tuyau à la sortie du tuyau T du manche avec du joint
d’étanchéité pour filetage.

3. Installer l’alimentation
REMARQUE : Installer l’évier à cet instant, s’il ne l’est pas déjà.
S’assurer de suivre les instructions emballées avec l’évier.
Serrer toutes les connexions.
4. Vérification de l’installation
Retirer l’aérateur de l’extrémité du bec en le pivotant vers la
gauche.
Ouvrir l’alimentation d’eau principale.
Ouvrir la poignée du robinet vers la position OUVERTURE.
Faire couler de l’eau chaude puis froide à travers le robinet
pendant une minute.
Presser la poignée du robinet vers le bas en position
FERMETURE.
Rattacher l’aérateur en le tournant vers la droite.

5. Réglage de température d’eau
REMARQUE : Avant d’ajuster la température d’eau, s’assurer que la
poignée soit tournée complètement vers la gauche. Ceci est la
position du chaud maximal.
Retirer le bouchon, le joint torique et la vis de la poignée.
Retirer la poignée et le chapeau du corps du robinet.
Soulever la tige de la valve vers le haut et hors de la languette
d’arrêt. L’eau s’écoulera.
Aligner la languette d’arrêt avec l’écrou de fixation afin d’établir
la température maximale.
Marquer la température maximale sur l’écrou de fixation avec un
feutre ou un crayon.
Soulever l’indexeur et le disque afin de dégager les cannelures.
REMARQUE : Chaque encoche de cannelure représente
approximativement 9,5°F (5,3°C).
Tourner l’indexeur, le disque et la tige de valve vers la gauche
jusqu’à atteindre ce que la température soit correctement ajustée.
Presser l’indexeur et le disque pour couvrir les cannelures après
le réglage de température. S’assurer que le disque soit
complètement mis en place dans l’indexeur.
Pousser la tige de la valve vers le bas sur la languette d’arrêt.
L’eau s’arrêtera.
