How does Pest Patrol work?
Just plug Pest Patrol into an electrical outlet and Pest Patrol immediately
goes to work to control your pest problem. Pest Patrol combines two
proven pest control systems:“electromagnetic” interference and ultra-
sonic sound. Pest Patrol drives pests away with “electromagnetic” inter-
ference by affecting their central nervous systems, and causes auditory
stress with the Ultrasound feature. Pest Patrol will alter the pests’ normal
functions and cause them to leave your home.
ELECTROMAGNETIC FEATURE:
Just plug the unit into an outlet and this new technology starts working
by altering the normal field around your existing electrical wiring, creat-
ing an environment that aids in the control of pests in the walls, floor and
ceilings where the majority of pest problems exists. This feature works
throughout the walls of the house.
ULTRASONIC FEATURE:
The Electromagnetic feature will help to control the pest problem in your
walls. However, the ultrasonic feature is designed to control household
pests within the living area. It helps repel the flying insects and other
pests in your home.
Ultrasound may affect rodent pets just as it affects unwanted rodents. It
is recommended to keep rodent pets (mice, gerbils, hamsters, rabbits)
in a separate, closed-off area of the home, away from the ultrasonic
effect of Pest Patrol. If your rodent pet will be temporarily in the same
room with Pest Patrol, you can turn the ultrasonic feature OFF using the
switch on the side of the unit. The green light will turn off when the ultra-
sound is not active.
16. How much electricity does Pest Patrol use?
Power consumption is minimal. Pest Patrol uses just pennies worth of
electricity a day to operate. Tests have shown that Pest Patrol costs
about the same to operate as a 4 watt night light bulb.
17. Is Pest Patrol effective against termites?
Pest Patrol affects most pests to varying degrees. Termites live in the
wood of a structure and their exposure to ultrasonic sound is limited.
18. Can Pest Patrol be plugged in using a power adapter
or extension cord?
Yes.
19. Test Button
When the Pest Patrol is plugged into a power outlet, pushing the test
button will lower the ultrasonic frequencies to an audible human level.
Pushing the test button will allow you to hear the different ultrasonic fea-
tures. To avoid hearing damage, do not use the Test button for long peri-
ods of time and do not allow children to play with the test switch.

9. How long does it take Pest Patrol to be effective?
The ultrasonic effect will immediately affect pests in the living areas of
your home. The electromagnetic effect, which works within the walls,
will create an initial “Flushing-Out” period when pests are being driven
out of their nests in the walls. During this time you will see more pests
in your living areas. This process may take 10-14 days. Be aware, how-
ever, that some pests have a 30 day gestation or hatching period; so
you may see baby pests after the initial “Flushing-Out”. Several studies
have documented that Pest Patrol, under certain circumstances, is effec-
tive immediately on pests such as roaches, mice and fleas.
10. What is the warranty?

11. What is the estimated life of Pest Patrol?
Due to the solid construction and limited moving parts, Pest Patrol
should offer 5 years of continuous use. The product is warranted for 2
years.
12. Squirrels get into my attic. Will Pest Patrol help with
this problem?
If Pest Patrol is placed in the attic, the ultrasound feature of the product
should help repel squirrels.
13. Does the location of the unit occasionally have to be
changed?
Lentek International recommends that the unit be placed in a central,
unobstructed area. If favorable results are not obtained after the first 15
days, it is recommended to move the unit to another area in the home,
possibly the area where pests are seen most often. Placing the unit in
the living room or across from the kitchen cabinets proves to be an
extremely effective location for ridding pests.
14. Does Pest Patrol ever need servicing or repair?
Under normal conditions, Pest Patrol requires no maintenance of any
kind.
15. Will I be able to hear Pest Patrol?
The ultrasound frequency is set to be heard ONLY by insects and
rodents, while the electromagnetic feature does not generate any type
of sound.
The ultrasonic sound benefits will be effective throughout the living area
of the home, only if doors are left open. Ultrasound can not transmit
through walls and doors. There will be a stronger effect of ultrasound
within the room where it is placed. If you would like additional ultra-
sound protection, we recommend you purchase an additional Pest
Patrol.
Placement of Unit:
We recommend placing the unit in the one room where you have the
greatest pest problem or a centrally located position within the home. If
two units are required, plug into outlets at opposite ends of your home,
or on separate floors. The RED light will flash indicating the unit is work-
ing properly and the GREEN light will be solid if the ultrasonic sound is
turned on.
NOTE: Pest Patrol can be used with horizontal outlets.
Suggestions for Best Results
1. Take special care not to leave doors, windows, basements, or garage
doors open as new rodents or pests may wander in briefly before they
are affected and repelled by Pest Patrol.
2. Take special care not to leave human, animal or pet food supplies in
open areas which can attract new rodents or pests before they can be
affected by Pest Patrol.
3. Take special care not to carry in new rodents or pests when transfer-
ring food, supplies, grains, animal feed, etc. from outside supply areas
into areas not being protected by Pest Patrol.

3. Will Pest Patrol affect my pets?
Pest Patrol will not affect the common domestic pets such as DOGS,
CATS, SNAKES, BIRDS, FISH and FERRETS. In order to use Pest Patrol
in homes with Rabbits, Mice, Hamsters, Guinea Pigs and other rodent
pets, turn off the ultrasonic function or place pet in a closed off room.
4. Does Pest Patrol have any affect on other electrical or
battery operated equipment?
Pest Patrol does not affect any electrical appliance, equipment, or secu-
rity systems. Battery operated equipment will not be affected since it is
not physically connected to the unit.
5. Will Pest Patrol be less effective if doors or windows are
opened?
Opening or closing screened windows or doors will have no effect on
the electromagnetic components in Pest Patrol, because it is designed
to work within walls, floors or ceilings. The ultrasonic waves can be
affected only by the physical nature of the home itself. Ultrasound can
not penetrate solid objects like walls or doors. When Pest Patrol is
placed in a closed room, the ultrasound will only be effective in that
room. If a door is opened, the sound waves will be able to travel to other
areas of the home. It is recommended a customer purchase additional
units if they would like the ultrasonic sound effect in additional closed
areas of the house. The waves reflect off of solid objects and can lose
some effectiveness because of screened windows and doors.
6. How many units will I need for my home?
Pest Patrol is designed to cover up to a 2500 sq. ft home. It is neces-
sary to purchase additional units if a home is greater than 2500 sq. feet
or more than one floor. However, many people purchase additional
units, or Lentek’s single room ultrasonic units, for added protection in
attics, basements, crawl spaces, and other problem areas.
Pest Patrol is also ideal for warehouses and other large buildings with
pest problems.
7. Does Pest Patrol affect Pacemakers?
Pest Patrol has never been found to affect a pacemaker. Please consult
your doctor prior to using.
8. Does Pest Patrol affect new born babies or pregnant
women?
Pest Patrol has never been found to affect humans.

Pest Patrol is registered with the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency)
and CE approved for European distribution. Pest Patrol has passed rig-
orous quality standards set by Japan.
2. What type of pests will Pest Patrol repel?
Pest Patrol helps to control Roaches, Ants, Squirrels, Spiders, Flies,
Ticks, Fleas, Crickets, Bats, Water bugs, Wasps, Bees, Rats, Mice and the
majority of other rodent pests.
