FOR USE
Congratulations on your purchase of the PestContro 5-in-1. You
have purchased a quality product that has been thoroughly test-
ed to meet the highest standards. Your product is backed by a

Directions For Use
Just plug PestContro 5-IN-1 System into a centrally located
outlet unobstructed by furniture and other objects.

Ultrasonic Sound Features
The PestContro 5-IN-1 System incorporates a speaker that creates
a harsh ultrasonic siren, inaudible to humans. See commonly
asked questions for additional information on ultrasonic sound.
Ionizer On/Off Switch
The switch is illuminated when the Ionizer feature is in the “ON”
position.
Test Button
When the PestContro 5-IN-1 System is plugged into a power out-
let, pushing the test button will lower the ultrasonic frequencies to
an audible human level. Pushing the test button will allow you to
hear the different ultrasonic features.
CAUTION: To avoid hearing damage, do not use the Test
button for long periods of time and do not allow children
to play with the test switch.

LED’s
Each LED represents different properties of PestContro 5-IN-1
System. The Red LED will continually flash. The green LED’s rep-
resent sound emitting from each of the speakers. The Green
LED’s will randomly turn on and off.
Power
The PestContro 5-IN-1 System is powered by a 110 volt outlet, or
the represented power configuration indicated on the outside of
the box. For worldwide applications, make sure you are using the
correct plug configuration or the proper power converter that
conforms to the local voltage and outlets. Contact your local deal-
er or Koolatron if you have a question concerning power issues.

HOW QUICKLY WILL I SEE RESULTS?
Allow up to 60 days for satisfactory results. Glue boards and/or
traps may be used to help during the initial clean-up period. After
results have been obtained, keep the device plugged in for con-
tinuous coverage.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Simply plug the device into an unobstructed wall outlet in the
room to be covered by ultrasonic sound power. Coverage in a
room can be improved by bouncing the sound off reflecting
objects such walls, mirrors, cupboard doors, and appliances.
Obtaining a ricochet pattern will increase effective coverage. The
ultrasonic sound benefits will travel to adjoining rooms, only if
doors are left open. Ultrasound can not transmit through walls and
doors. There will be a stronger effect of ultrasound within the
room where it is placed. If you would like additional ultrasound
protection, we recommend you purchase an additional device.

of purchase, together with a copy of your receipt, for a refund of

HOW DOES ULTRASONIC TECHNOLOGY WORK?
The Electronic Ultrasonic PestContro 5-IN-1 System emits set
sounds determined by settings on the unit (See Ultrasonic Sound
Features). This allows the device to target different pests, such as
mice and rats. Pests do not like this constantly changing environ-
ment, which causes them to leave the area. The PC51 utilizes
“Sweep Sound Technology (SST)”, a Lentek feature that creates a
fluctuating ultrasonic sound to target pests within the ranges. This
creates a constantly changing sound environment to pests that is
difficult to ignore.
WILL IT AFFECT APPLIANCES or PETS?
No. It will not affect computers or appliances. The PC51 generates
ultrasonic sound waves which are above the hearing range of
humans, dogs, cats, fish, and birds. These ultrasonic frequencies
CAN be heard by rodent pets such as, hamsters, gerbils, and rab-
bits. However, by positioning the unit in an area away from the
rodent pet, you will not cause it discomfort.
HOW MANY WILL I NEED?
This device can provide coverage for an average size home.
Larger homes or multiple floor homes and structures will need
multiple units throughout for adequate effectiveness. Since each
home is different, place the device in the area with the most prob-
lems and monitor the results.
Sound ‘Shadows’
Ultrasonic soundwaves travel in straight lines like audible sounds,
echoing off non-absorbing materials. Sound absorbing materials
such as carpets, drapes and soft furniture will reduce the range.
‘Shadow’ areas may occur
around corners or in nooks and
crannies where the sound
waves can not reach.
Placement of the Unit
We recommend placing the unit in the one room where
you have the greatest pest problem or a centrally
located open area within the home. Plug multi-
ple units in opposite sides of the room or in
unprotected rooms. Multiple units will
create a ricochet effect with the sound.
