For your Safety
• Follow all instructions to maintain Manufacturer Warranty and for your own safety.
• There are no user replacement parts inside the product. Do not open the product for
any reason. This will invalidate your Manufacturer Warranty and may impair the safety
features of the product.
• All Lanta products designed for indoor use. Under no circumstances must these
products be used outdoors unless the product specification specifically defines the
product as being water resistant.
• Do not expose this product to moisture, rain or other fluids.
• Do not use if the product if you suspect it has been damaged in any way, including
being dropped, is malfunctioning, or has been exposed to liquids or moisture. The unit must
be repaired by an authorised service centre only. Manufacturer Warranty is void if the unit is
opened or adapted in any way. Operator safety may be compromised if this product is not
operated and maintained in accordance with the details contained in this Owner Handbook.
• This appliance must be earthed. Do not remove the earth connection in the plug or any
other location- it is essential for user safety.
• Be aware that products are mains powered and may be capable of producing high
voltages from its outputs and has mains voltages inside the cabinet.
Product Installation, Use & Maintenance
• Keep this Owner Handbook safe for future reference.
• Clean the product with a clean and dry, non-abrasive cloth. Do not use solvents or
liquids to clean the product.
• To prevent overheating, do not obstruct any ventilation opening, fan cover or vent. Do
not install near any sources of heat such as radiators, heaters or other heat producing
items such as amplifiers, power units etc.
• Never lift, move or carry the product by any other means other than the case as a
whole or handle if provided.
• Power connection to the product is via a UK 240 Volt AC three-pin mains plug. Do not
remove or adapt this plug. If necessary, only replace the plug top fuse with one of the
same type, size and value.
• The mains lead must not be crushed or damaged. If any damage occurs, disconnect
from the mains immediately. Replace the damaged cable, or if the mains lead is
captive, return the product to an authorised repair centre for cable replacement. Do
not attempt to repair the cable - it must be discarded and destroyed.
• To maintain the Manufacturer Warranty, only attach authorised accessories and external
devices. This includes cables, connectors and other electrical and/or mechanical devices.
• Unplug the product from the mains during lightning storms or periods of mains
fluctuations. If the product is going to be unused for long periods, unplug from the mains.

Product Quality & Compliance
Products from Lanta Lighting meet all required safety standards in force at the time of
manufacture and are fully compliant with them.
Unpacking & Inspection
• Inspect the packaging before opening. If the packaging appears to have sustained
significant damage, please take extra care before using the product. If you are in any
doubt, consult a suitably qualified professional.
• If you suspect the product has been damaged, do not use it. Return it to your original
supplier without delay.
• Keep all packaging in a safe place for storage or transportation in future.
Manufacturer Warranty
• This Manufacturer Warranty is valid in the UK only.
• Lanta Lighting warrants that this product is free from workmanship defects and material
failure during normal use and operation for a 12 month period from original date of
sale, providing all of the terms indicated in the warranty section have been fully
complied with. Please refer to your suppliers T&C’s for warranty details.
• Expressly excluded is our liability for any directly connected or indirectly connected item
or items or any consequential loss associated with the failure of the product however
caused.
• If the product has been opened, modified, tampered with, incorrectly connected,
used inappropriately or in conflict with the instructions herein, or the product model
or serial number has been damaged, removed, tampered with, obliterated or made
partly unreadable by any person or persons, the Manufacturer Warranty is irrevocably
null and void.
• No extension, adaption, alteration or modification to the terms of this Manufacturer
Warranty will be permitted, unless expressly authorised in writing (excluding email and
fax) by a Director of Lanta Lighting. Warranty is transferrable during the Warranty period.

IMPORTANT!
Battery Operated Products
Some Lanta products include an internal battery for portable use. These batteries are
high energy rechargeable devices and for safety and product performance purposes
these batteries have a permanent connection between the appliance and the battery.
The batteries are constructed from Lithium Ion materials, a much safer product than
older generation primary Lithium batteries. Great care must be exercised when handling
and disposing of these batteries and they must only be accessed and/or serviced by an
authorised Lanta service centre.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO ACCESS, MODIFY OR DISPOSE OF THE BATTERY!
End of life disposal of the product and/or the battery must not be disposed
in domestic rubbish or other non-specific recycling centre.
Only disposal sites that fully conform to the requirements of the EU Battery
Directive are permitted to recycle these products and batteries.

Getting to know your Lanta product
Dazzling and robust, the Lanta Aurora 12x12Hex V2™ is a high power outdoor parcan
designed to enhance external features such as hotels, monuments, gardens and office
blocks. Powerful LEDs need little maintenance and with low power requirements are both
environmentally and commercially friendly. A mouthwatering range of pre-set RGBWAUV
colour mixes and chases are included onboard, or as you’d expect, DMX signals are fully
supported from remote control gear. In short, the Aurora 12x12Hex V2™ can be quickly
installed, easily configured and run with the minimum of fuss.

Operating Modes
There are distinct operating modes that are supported by this unit. To
select, use the “MENU” button to enter the menu. The “UP” and “DOWN”
buttons steps through specific settings for each operating mode the
“ENTER” button chooses from the values available. Pressing the “MENU”
button will then return to the previous menu option.
DMX Address
With the LED display is reading “Addr” a DMX address can be chosen. Use the “UP” and “DOWN”
buttons step between “001” & “512” for the DMX address you require.
Slave Mode
With the LED display is reading “SLau” means the fixture is in slave mode and will mimic the ‘Master’
fixture, when connected through a DMX cable.
DMX Channels
With the LED display is reading “Chnd” the DMX channels can be chosen. Use the “UP” and “DOWN”
buttons step between the different channels available.

Node Mode
With the LED display is reading “noDE”, The “UP” and “DOWN” buttons in this mode changes the
brightness of the LEDs valued between“0” to “5”.
Speed
With the LED display reading “SP” the speed of the built-in programs can be changed. The “UP” and
“DOWN” buttons can select value between “0” and “15”.
In Built Programs
With the LED display is reading “Pr--” a built-in program can be chosen. Use the “UP” and “DOWN”
buttons step between “Pr00” & “Pr63”.
Colour Jumping
With the LED display is reading “ASC-”, a colur jumping program can be chosen. Use the “UP” and
“DOWN” buttons step between “AC00” & “AC15”.
Fade & Strobe
The “UP” and “DOWN” buttons in these mode changes the intensity of the strobe or brightnesss of the
LEDs valued between“01” to “15”.

Single Colour Adjustment
With the LED display is reading any of the following, the intensity of each colour available can be
chosen. The “UP” and “DOWN” buttons steps through specific values for each colour between ‘000
- 255’.

LED Display
With the LED display is reading “LED-”, you can turn the LED display ON or OFF.
When set ‘Off’, if no button is pressed within 2 minutes the LED will turn off and the buttons will be
locked.
To unlock, power off and back on.
RF Function
The Lanta 12x12 Hex V2 requires a WDMX-2 transmitter for the wireless DMX function.
When the LED display is reading “rF--” the ID setting for the RF can be changed to one of 7 settings.
Press ‘Enter’and with “ rf ” flashing use‘Up’select the ID required and ‘Enter’ to store.

Refer to the WDMX-2 user guide for further details.
When two or more lights are set to the same RF ID one light will act as ‘Master’ (LED flashing Red)
the others will act as ‘Slave’ (LED flashing green) the first light set via the control buttons.
Note: There is no facility to turn off the RF function.
