INSTALLING THE BATTERY
Open the battery cover at the rear of the player, by sliding it towards the outerside.
Insert one Alkaline AAA size battery (notincluded) into the battery compartment.
Re-place the battery cover.
BASIC OPERATION
Power On Press and hold the PLAY/PAUSE button until “LOADING” appearson the screen.
Power Off Press and hold the PLAY/PAUSEbutton until “BYE BYE” appears on thescreen.
Volume Up Press the “+” button momentarily
Volume Down Press the “-” button momentarily
PC Connection Simply remove the USB cap and insert into any USB port.The device can
then be used as aremovableflash drive to drag anddrop compatible
music files

NAVIGATING THE MAIN MENU
Enter the main menu by pressing and holding theMENU button. The subsequent options are:
MSC (Music), REC (Record),RPL (Replay recorded file), FM (FM Radio), SYS (System setting)
The followingcan be used for navigation:
Play button Previous screen
Next / Previous button Navigate through options
Menu button Press to confirm
MUSIC MODE
Select MSC from the main menu. Use the previousand next buttons to selecta track then press
the PLAY button.
While the music is paused, youcan press the MENUbutton to access sub-menu options. These
are:
Menu Indicate the folder of present playing file
Delete file
Delete the present playing song
Delete All Delete All songs
Exit Return to previous screen
While the music is playing,you can press the MENUbutton to access sub-menu options. These
are:
Repeat
Choosehow you would li
ke to repeat the song
Equalizer Choose Rock,Classic,Soft, or Natural sound settings
Replay Choose to replay yoursong
Replay times
Choose the replay times
Replay gap Choose to replay song sections
Exit Return to previous screen
VOICE RECORD
Toggle to REC fromthe main menu and press the MENU button to confirm your choice.
Press the PLAY buton to strat recording.
Press the PLAYbutton again to stop recording.
Press and hold the MENU button to save the file and exit the screen.

VOICE RECORD PLAYBACK
Toggle to RPL from the main menu and press the MENU button to confirm your choice.
Use the PREVIOUS and NEXT buttons to selecta voice file then press the PLAY button to begin
playback.
Press and hold the previous or next buttons to eitherfast forward or rewinf through a file.
Press the MENU button to access the sub menu options where you can view or delete voice
recordings.
FM RADIO
Toggle to FM from themain menu and press the MENU button to confirmyourchoice.
Press the PREVIOUS and NEXT buttons to manuallytune in aradio station.
Press the MENU button to access the sub-menu options:
Save radio station Save your favoriteradio station
Record
Record
live broadcast radio
Delete Delete a previously saved station
Delete all Delete all previously saved radio stations
Auto search
Search the radio station automatically
Normal channel FM radio station
Exit Return to the previous screen
SYSTEM SETTING
Toggle to SYS from themain menu and press theMENU button to confirm yourchoice.
Use the PREVIOUS and NEXTbuttons to toglle between the options and the MENU button to
enteror confirm your choice. The following options are: system time, backlight, lightcolour,
language,power off, contrast, memory info, firmware version,ear protection set, firmware
upgrade (per instruction from the LASER supportteamonly) and exit.

WARRANTY AGAINST DEFECTS
Laser Corporation Pty Ltd (“Laser”) warrants your new product to be free from defects in materials and
workmanship for 12 months, from the date of purchase, provided that the product is used in accordance with
accompanying recommendations orinstructions where provided. The benefit of this warranty is in addition to your
rights under the Australian Consumer Law and to other rights and remedies of the consumer under a law in
relation to the goods or services to which the warranty relates.
Through a network of retailers and resellers, Laser will provide you with your choice of a refund, repair or
exchange (where possible) for this product if it becomes defective within the warranty period. This warranty will
no longer apply where the defect is a result of alteration, accident, misuse, abuse, normal wear and tear, neglect
or improper storage.

How to make a product warranty claim:
Step 1: Find yourreceipt which proves the date ofpurchase. Where thedate of purchase cannot beverified, your
place of purchase orLaser willmake an assessment based on the date of manufacture, the condition of the Laser
Productand thetype of defect.
Step 2a): Contact your place of purchase. They will assess the nature of the fault and refund or replace the
product as per their store refund orwarranty policy.
Step 2b): If your place of purchase cannot be contacted, then you can contact Laser . Customer Service with
details of your defective Laser Product: Phone: (02) 9870 3355; or Email: [email protected]om.au or online
www.laserco.net/support/warranty (click on “Consumers (End Users)”). Our business address is at 1/6-8 Byfield

Step 3: Laser .will issue you with a Return Authorisation (RA) number within 48 hours.When requested, send us
thedefective Product and a copy ofyourreceipt.Laser will cover the cost ofthe return delivery.
Step 4: Wait for us to contact you. Once we have received your defective Laser Product for inspection, we will
inform you of our assessment of your claim within 7 days. When we contact you, we will firstly let you know
whether you have a valid claim under this Warranty, and if so, we will inform you whether your defective Laser
Product will be replaced or repaired, together with the number of days you can expect to wait to receive your
replaced orrepaired Laser Product.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded underthe Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to
a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or
damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality
and the failure does not amount to a majorfailure.
