1. Product and package contents
Please check if all listed parts are included and undamaged. Included in delivery:
Laser system, USB keyboard, USB extension cable, IR remote, key, interlock bridge plug, exter-
nal PSU, manual
3. Initial operations, safety instructions
1. Make sure to use correct voltage; see in-
formation on device & in this manual.
2. Make sure that the device is not connec-
ted to mains during installation.
3. Installation has to be done by technical
experienced and qualied persons ac-
cording to safety regulations of the res-
pective country.
4. Always ensure that maximum permis-
sible exposure (MPE) is not exceeded
in areas accessible to the public or mem-
bers of sta.
5. In some countries an additional ins-
pection by technical control institutes
could be necessary.
6. Connect an easily accessible inter-
lock connector or circuit breaker
to the projector.
7. The power supply should be easily acces-
sible.
8. When installing the laser mount it with
a minimum distance of 15 cm from walls
and objects.
9. For safe setup e.g. on walls or ceilings
please use a safety cord. The safety cord
should be able to withstand tenfold the
weight of the device. Please follow the
accident prevention regulations of pro-
fessional associations and/or comparable
regulations for accident prevention.
2. Preliminary warning notices
1. Please use this device only according to these operating instructions.
2. Do not use the device if there are any visible damages on housing, connector panels,
power supplies or power cords.
3. Never look directly into the light source of a laser projector. Danger of damage to the
eyes or even blindness in extreme circumstances!
4. This device must not be permanently connected to mains. Disconnect it from mains or use
the power button to switch if o if not in use.
4. Do not operate the device at high humidity, in the rain or in dusty environments.
5. Protect device against dripping or splashing water. Do not place any liquid lled
containers near to this device.
Any warranty claims are void if the warranty label is removed or tampered
with in any way.

10. If the device has been exposed to great
temperature changes, do not switch it
on immediately. Condensation (or any
moisture/water formed) may damage
this device.
11. Never use dimmer, RC or other electroni-
cally switched sockets. Whenever possib-
le, do not use the laser projector together
with large appliances (especially fog ma-
chines) on the same mains!
12. Ensure sucient ventilation and do not
place the device on any warm or heat ra-
diating surface. Especially the ventilati-
on openings must not be covered!
13. Ensure that device does not get over-
heated. Make sure that the device is not
exposed to spotlights (especially moving
heads). Heat of spotlights could overheat
laser in a little while and leads to a degra-
dation of performance.
14. This unit is intended for indoor use only.
5. Service notes
• Moisture and heat can reduce lifetime of
the laser system dramatically and expires
any warranty claim.
• Quick on/o switching of this device will
reduce durability of the laser diode dra-
matically.
• Avoid sharp knocks and shocks to this
device an endsure sucient protection
during transportation. Look after your
Laserworld product.
• To increase durability of your laser,
protect device against overheating:
-Always ensure sucient ventilation.
-Do not face spotlights (especially mo-
ving heads) to the device.
-Check temperature after approx. 30
minutes with each new installation.
If necessary install the projector at a
place with dierent temperatures.
-Keep the device dry. Protect it from
moisture, rain and damp.
-Switch o device when it is not nee-
ded. Diodes are switched on and can
wear out even if there is no visible la-
ser output.
4. Working on the device
1. This product has no user serviceable parts inside and should
only be maintained and serviced by a qualied engineer.
2. Be sure that the mains plug is not connected to the power
supply while installing the device.
3. Take o all reecting things like rings, watches, etc.
before starting to work with or at the projector.
4. Only use non-reecting tools to work on device.
5. Wear protective clothing (like goggles, gloves etc.) according to laser power and wave-
length of the laser.

6. General Operation
1. Power
Connect your CS-500RGB KeyTEX with the external PSU and connect it to the mains. Ple-
ase make sure that you are using the correct voltage. False voltages could destroy the
device. Please use the voltage specied at the end of this manual. Don‘t aim the front of
the laser on people while installation.
2. Key Switch
Insert the key into the key switch on the back side of the laser and switch to“On“ to switch
the device on or to “O“ to switch the device o. Please disconnect the device from the
power supply if you don‘t need it for a longer period.
3. Modes
Access the six dierent operating modes available in this product by using the MODE but-
ton on the front panel. Pressing and holding the MODE button for 2.5 seconds will turn
the product on or o. Press MODE to cycle through the modes. Please see a description
of each mode below.

This laser has also an ILDA IN port, which force-takes over control as soon as an ILDA in-
terface is connected to the laser.
• Please ensure the fans and heatsinks are
clear from dust and debris otherwise the
risk of overheating may occur. If the unit
or air inlets appear to be blocked, please
contact a qualied service engineer to
maintain and service the product.
• Removal of the warranty label as well
as damages to the device caused by
improper handling, neglect of the sa-
fety instructions and service notes will
void the warranty.

4. IR remote controller
Button Function / Button Description
On/O button Turns laser on/o
Auto mode Laser runs in auto mode. Red LED indicator lights. Press the number
buttons to get dierent design patterns
Sound mode
Sound-active mode. Blue LED indicator ashes when sound is de-
tected. Sound-active mode displays the same design packs as auto
mode, but responds to sounds. Press and hold to enable sound
sensitivity adjustment. Use 1 (least sensitive) to 9 (most sensitive)
Pause Pauses the program. Press again to continue the program
Pattern selection Press button to enter the pattern selection and select one of the
available patterns by pressing the number buttons.
Text mode Press to enter the text mode, then press any numbered button.
Enter text using the keyboard. Red and blue LED indicator lights.
Clock mode Press numbers on the number pad to set the time and press‚SPACE‘
to start the clock function
Numbers Press to select a number
Prev/Next Press to go to a previous / next step
Mirror Eect Press and hold to mirror the laser projection. Press repeatedly for up
to 4 mirrored options
5. Using the keyboard
Use the keyboard to access menu options, select laser patterns, and enter dierent mo-
des. To use the keyboad with the laser, do the following:
1. Connect the USB cable of the keyboard to the USB interface on the back of the laser
projector.
2. Connect the laser to the mains.
Menu Options
To select the menu options using the keyboard, do the following:
1. Press to access the menu options. The laser output displays the current menu option.
2. Use to scroll through the menu options: 1. AUTO, 2. SCENE, 3. MUSIC, 4. CLOCK, 5.
TEXT and 6. DMX.
3. Press to conrm the selection.

Text Mode
Press to select the mode and press‚ENTER‘ to activate the mode.When text mode is active,
use the following keys on the keyboard to enter text and select patterns:
Function Key Description
Flow Sets the text ow. Press again to restart.
RGB Color RGB Press the key to make all letters / patterns white. Then use the
„Arrow up“ /„Arrow down“ keys to switch between the 7 dierent
colours.
By pressing the RGB button again, the color of the letters changes
automatically one after the other.
Pressing the button again creates colorful letters.
Pressing the button again creates multi-coloured letter lines.
Draw Selects the drawing functionality. Use up and down arrows to set
the speed.
Zoom Selects the zoom in, zoom out, and zoom in/out functionality. Use
the up and down arrows to set the speed.
X Move Text moves to the right or to the left. Use the up and down arrows
to set the speed.
Y Move Text moves up or down. Use the up and down arrows to set the
speed.
Y Roll Text curves around the y-axis. Use the up and down arrows to set
the speed.
X Roll Text curves around the x-axis. Use the up and down arrows to set
the speed.
Z Roll Text spins around the z-axis. Use the up and down arrows to set
the speed.
Wave Text is projected with a wave eect. Use the up and down arrows
to set the speed.
Text Qty Displays characters in quantities of 4, 6, 8, 10, or 12 (incl. free
space)
Play Time Sets the display time.
Mirror Mirrors the display in 4 directions
Delete Clears the cache.
Backspace Deletes a character to the left
Home Moves the cursor to the beginning of the text.
End Moves the cursor to the end of the text.

Arrow Keys Moves the cursor up, down, to the left or to the right.
Function Key Description
Ctrl + Alt + Del Deletes the entire text.
Save + No. Saves the text and pattern.
Play + No. Plays back the saved text and pattern.
Loop Playback Repeats the saved text and pattern.
Page up Chooses the last edited text.
Page down Chooses the next edited text.
Pause Pauses the program
Auto Mode
Press to select the mode and press‚ENTER‘ to activate the mode. When auto mode is acti-
ve, use the following keys on the keyboard:
Function Key Description
Numbers Press 1 - 9 to select one of the auto programs. Press 0 to select
all auto programs in a loop.
Mirror Mirrors the display in 4 directions.
Music Mode
Press to select the mode and press ‚ENTER‘ to activate the mode. When music mode is
active, use the following keys on the keyboard:
Function Key Description
Numbers Press‚ENTER‘ and choose on of the numbers 1 - 9 to select the
sensitivity of the microphone. Press‚ENTER‘ to conrm.
Mirror Mirrors the display in 4 directions.
Pattern Selection (Scene)
Press to select the mode and press ‚ENTER‘ to activate the mode. When pattern mode is
active, use the following keys on the keyboard:

Numbers Press the number buttons to select one of the available pat-
terns.

Please note that not each pattern can be combined with each eect!
Mode DMX
Press to select the mode and press‚ENTER‘ to activate the mode.
Enter the DMX address with the digit keys (e.g. press ‚0‘ ‚0‘ ‚3‘ and ‚Enter‘ for setting 003). Use
the Windows Button to choose DMX mode again. You now can see your DMX address. If it‘s the
wrong address, just press any digit button (e.g.‚4‘ 4‘) and you can set the right address.
When DMX mode is active, use following DMX chart for controlling via external DMX signal:

ILDA Mode
Connect the external ILDA interface (DAC) to the laser system using an ILDA cable. Plug the
cable into the„ILDA IN“ port at the back side of the laser system.
The laser automatically recognizes attached ILDA device and prioritizes its signal over the in-
ternal control modes.
Remember: As long as an external ILDA interface is connected to the laser, the internal opera-
tion modes of the ShowNET are disabled.

1. Lieferumfang & Hinweise
Bitte prüfen, ob die Lieferung vollständig und die Ware unbeschädigt ist. Im Lieferumfang
enthalten sind:
Laserprojektor, USB Tastatur, USB-Verlängerungskabel, Schlüssel, Interlock Adapter, Fernbe-
dienung, externes Netzteil, Bedienungsanleitung
3. Schritte zur Inbetriebnahme, Sicherheitshinweise:
1. Stellen Sie sicher, dass Sie das Gerät mit
der richtigen Spannung betreiben
(siehe Angaben auf dem Gerät bzw. in
dieser Bedienungsanleitung).
2. Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Gerät während
der Installation nicht mit dem Strom-
netz verbunden ist.
3. Der Laser darf nur von technisch versier-
tem Fachpersonal gemäss der im jewei-
ligen Land geltenden Sicherheitsbestim-
mungen installiert werden.
4. Die am Betriebsort geforderten Sicher-
heitsabstände zwischen Gerät und
Publikum, bzw. maximal zulässige Be-
strahlungswerte (MZB), müssen immer
eingehalten werden.
5. In bestimmten Ländern kann zusätzlich
eine Abnahme durch ein technisches
Überwachungsinstitut erforderlich sein.
6. Verbinden Sie einen leicht zugänglichen
nterlock-Stecker bzw. Notausschalter mit
dem Interlockanschluss.
7. Die Stromversorgung zugänglich halten.
8. Halten Sie bei der Installation einen Min-
destabstand von 15 cm zur Wand und an-
deren Objekten ein.
9. Bei einer Festinstallation an Wand, Decke
o.ä., sichern Sie den Laser zusätzllich mit
einem Sicherheitsfangseil. Das Fangseil
sollte mindestens dem 10-fachen Ge-
wicht des Geräts standhalten können.
2. Einleitende Warnhinweise
1. Betreiben Sie das Gerät nur gemäß dieser Bedienungsanleitung.
2. Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn sichtbare Beschädigungen am Gehäuse, den An-
schlussfeldern oder vor allem an den Stromversorgungsbuchsen oder -kabeln vorliegen.
3. Dieses Gerät darf nicht dauerhaft an das Stromnetz angeschlossen sein.Trennen Sie es von
der Stromversorgung oder schalten Sie das Gerät mittels des Netzschalters aus, wenn
Sie es nicht verwenden.
4. Niemals direkt in den Strahl des austretenden Lasers blicken. Dies könnte zu irreparab-
len Schäden an den Augen und der Netzhaut führen. Erblindungsgefahr!
5. Gerät nicht bei hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit, Regen oder in staubiger Umgebung betrei-
ben.
6. Vor Tropf-/Spritzwasser schützen, keine mit Flüssigkeit gefüllten Gefäße auf oder neben
dem Gerät abstellen.
Bei Entfernung oder Manipulation des Garantielabels erlischt jeglicher
Anspruch auf Gewährleistung!

5. Pege- und Wartungshinweise
• Feuchtigkeit und Hitze können die Le-
bensdauer des Lasersystems stark ver-
kürzen und führen zum Erlöschen des
Gewährleistungsanspruchs.
• Das Gerät nicht schnell hintereinander
Ein- und Ausstecken/-schalten, da dies
die Lebensdauer der Laserdiode erheb-
lich verkürzen kann!
• Beim Transport des Lasers jegliche
Erschütterung oder Schläge vermeiden.
Bitte das Produkt bestmöglich schützen.
Laserworld bietet entsprechendes Equip-
ment an.
• Um die Lebensdauer Ihres Lasers zu er-
höhen, schützen Sie das Gerät vor Über-
hitzung:
-Immer für ausreichende Belüftung
sorgen.
-Keine Scheinwerfer (insbesondere
Movingheads) auf das Gerät richten.
-Bei jeder Neuinstallation nach ca. 30
Minuten die Gerätetemperatur prü-
fen und gegebenenfalls das Gerät an
einem kühleren/besser belüfteten
Standort platzieren.
-Halten Sie das Gerät trocken und
schützen Sie es vor Nässe, Regen und
Spritzwasser.
-Schalten Sie das Gerät aus, wenn es

11. Wenn das Gerät großen Temperatur-
schwankungen ausgesetzt war, schalten
Sie es nicht unmittelbar danach an. Kon-
denswasser (Nebel, Haze, usw.) kann zu
Schäden am Gerät führen.
12. Benutzen Sie niemals Dimmer-, Funk-
oder andere elektronisch gesteuerten
Steckdosen! Falls möglich benutzen Sie

werfern!). Die Wärme dieser Strahler kann

4. Sicherheitshinweise für Arbeiten am Gerät
1. Service- und Reparaturarbeiten sollten ausschließlich von quali-
ziertem Fachpersonal durchgeführt werden.
2. Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Netzstecker gezogen ist, wenn
Sie am Gerät hantieren bzw. es installieren.
3. Vor Arbeiten am Gerät alle reektierenden Gegenstän-
de wie Ringe, Uhren etc. ablegen.
4. Verwenden Sie für Arbeiten am Gerät ausschließlich nicht reek-
tierendes Werkzeug.
5. Tragen Sie auf die Laserstärke und -wellenlängen angepasste Schutzbekleidung
(Schutzbrille, Handschuhe, etc.).

6. Bedienung
1. Stromversorgung
Verbinden Sie Ihren CS-500RGB KeyTEX mit dem im Lieferumfang enthaltenen Netzad-
apter und schließen Sie diesen an die Stromversorgung an. Stellen Sie sicher, dass das
Gerät mit der richtigen Spannung betrieben wird, da eine falsche Spannung zu irreparab-
len Schäden am Gerät führen kann. Die Spannungsdaten entnehmen Sie bitte der Über-
sichtstabelle am Ende dieser Bedienungsanleitung. Es muss darauf geachtet werden,
dass die Vorderseite des Lasers (Bereich des Strahlaustritts) während des Anschließens an
die Stromversorgung nicht auf Personen gerichtet ist.
2. An-/Ausschalten des Gerätes
Stecken Sie den Schlüssel in den Schlüsselschalter und drehen Sie diesen auf “ON“, um
das Gerät an- bzw. auf“OFF“, um das Gerät auszuschalten. Sollten Sie das Gerät für einen
längeren Zeitraum nicht benötigen, trennen Sie das Gerät bitte von der Stromversorgung.
3. Betriebsmodi
Auf der Gerätevorderseite bendet sich ein ‚MODE‘-Knopf, mit dem einer der vier unter-
schiedlichen Betriebsmodi gewählt werden kann. Durch Drücken des MODE-Knopfs für
2,5 Sekunden, wird der Laser an bzw. abgeschaltet. Drücken Sie den MODE-Knopf, um
zwischen den Betriebsmodi zu wechseln. Details zu den Betriebsmodi nden Sie auf den
folgenden Seiten.

4. Dieser Laser hat eine ILDA IN-Schnittstelle zur Computeransteuerung. Wenn der Laser
mit einer externen ILDA Ausgabekarte (DAC) verbunden ist, erfolgt die Ansteuerung aus-
schliesslich darüber. IR Fernbedienung
nicht benutzt wird. Trennen Sie hier-
zu das Netzteil von der Stromversor-
gung. Auch wenn die Diode nicht
leuchtet: Sie ist in Betrieb, solange
das Gerät angeschaltet ist.

müssen frei von Staubansammlungen
und Ablagerungen sein, da sonst die Ge-
fahr des Überhitzens droht und jegliche
Gewährleistung erlischt. Bitte wenden

On/O Taste Ein- / Ausschalten des Lasers
Automatikmodus
Der Laser läuft im Automatikmodus und die rote LED leuchtet. Durch
Drücken der Zahlentasten kann aus unterschiedlichen Themenberei-
chen gewählt werden.
Musikmodus
Der Laser läuft im Musikmodus und die blaue LED blinkt, wenn Töne/
Geräusche erkannt werden. Wiedergabe derselben Sequenzen wie
im Automatik-Modus. Durch Gedrückthalten der Taste kann die Mik-
rofonsensitivität angepasst werden: 1 (gering) bis 9 (stark)
Pause Unterbricht die Sequenz. Erneutes Drücken beendet die Pause.
Musterauswahl Der Laser läuft im Mustermodus. Durch Drücken können folgende
Muster ausgewählt werden.
Textmodus
Der Laser läuft im Textmodus. Bitte eine beliebige Zahlentaste
drücken und den Text über die Tastatur eingeben. Die rote und blaue
LED leuchten.
Uhr-Modus Der Laser läuft im Zeitmodus, rote und blaue LEDs blinken. Durch
Drücken können Jahr, Monat, Datum und Zeit aufgerufen werden.
Zahlen Taste drücken um eine Zahl auszuwählen
Zurück/Weiter Drücken um Vor- bzw. Zurückzuspringen
Spiegeln
Drücken und Halten der Taste ermöglicht das Spiegeln der Pro-
jektion. Durch mehrmaliges Drücken kann aus 4 Spiegeloptionen
gewählt werden.
5. Verwendung der Tastatur
Über die Tastatur können Menü-Optionen, Muster und die unterschiedlichen Modi aus-
gewählt werden. Um die Tastatur nutzen zu können, gehen Sie bitte wie folgt vor:
1. Verbinden Sie das USB-Kabel der Tastatur mit der Schnittstelle auf der Rückseite des
Gerätes.
2. Verbinden Sie den Laser mit der Stromversorgung.
Menü-Optionen
Um die Menü-Optionen an der Tastatur zu nutzen, gehen Sie folgendermaßen vor:
1. Drücken Sie um zu den Menü-Optionen zu gelangen. Der Laser projiziert die ausge-
wählte Menü-Option.
2. Durch Drücken von springen Sie durch die Menü-Optionen: 1. AUTOMATIK, 2. MUS-
TER, 3. MUSIK, 4. ZEIT, 5.TEXT und 6. DMX.
3. Drücken Sie um die Auswahl zu bestätigen.

Textmodus
Bei aktivem Textmodus, kann der eingegebene Text über folgende Tasten auf der Tastatur
variiert werden:

Abfolge Startet die Textabfolge. Durch erneutes Drücken wird die Abfolge
erneut gestartet.
RGB Color RGB Mit einem Druck auf die Taste werden alle Buchstaben / Muster
weiß. Danach kann mit den„Pfeil hoch“ /„Pfeil runter“ Tasten zwi-
schen den 7 verschiedenen Farben gewechselt werden.
Mit einem weiteren Druck auf die RGB-Taste wechselt die Farbe der
Buchstaben nacheinander automatisch durch.
Ein erneuter Tastendruck sorgt für bunte Buchstaben.
Ein erneuter Tastendruck sorgt für mehrfarbige Buchstaben-Linien.
Draw Zeichungsfunktion. Durch Drücken der Pfeile (nach oben / unten)
kann die Geschwindigkeit bestimmt werden.
Zoom Zoomfunktion: größer werdend, kleiner werdend & größer-kleiner
werdend. Durch Drücken der Pfeile (nach oben / unten) kann die
Geschwindigkeit bestimmt werden.
X Move Der Text läuft nach links oder rechts. Durch Drücken der Pfeile
(nach oben / unten) kann die Geschwindigkeit bestimmt werden.
Y Move Der Text läuft nach oben oder unten. Der Text läuft nach links oder
rechts. Durch Drücken der Pfeile (nach oben / unten) kann die
Geschwindigkeit bestimmt werden.
Y Roll Der Text dreht sich um die Y-Achse. Der Text läuft nach links oder
rechts. Durch Drücken der Pfeile (nach oben / unten) kann die
Geschwindigkeit bestimmt werden.
X Roll Der Text dreht sich um die X-Achse. Der Text läuft nach links oder
rechts. Durch Drücken der Pfeile (nach oben / unten) kann die
Geschwindigkeit bestimmt werden.
Z Roll Der Text dreht sich um die Z-Achse. Der Text läuft nach links oder
rechts. Durch Drücken der Pfeile (nach oben / unten) kann die
Geschwindigkeit bestimmt werden.
Wave Der Text bewegt sich wellenförmig. Durch Drücken der Pfeile (nach
oben / unten) kann die Geschwindigkeit bestimmt werden.
Text Qty Zeigt 4, 6, 8, 10, oder 12 Zeichen (inkl. Leerzeichen) an
Play Time Bestimmt die Wiedergabezeit.
Mirror Spiegelt die Projektion in 4 Richtungen
Delete Löscht den Speicher
Backspace Löscht die Zeichen von rechts nach links
