1. Scope of delivery & details
Please check if all listed parts are included and undamaged. Included in delivery:
1 x laser projector 1 x Interlock connector W-DMXTM
1 x ight case 2 x keys
1 x power cable 1 x manual
3. Initial operations, safety instructions
1. Make sure to use correct voltage; see in-
formation on device & in this manual.
2. Make sure that the device is not connec-
ted to mains during installation.
3. Installation has to be done by technical
experienced and qualied persons ac-
cording to safety regulations of the res-
pective country.
4. Always ensure that maximum permissib-
le exposure (MPE) is not exceeded in are-
as accessible to the public.
5. In some countries an additional ins-
pection by technical control institutes
could be necessary.
6. Connect an easily accessible inter-
lock connector or circuit breaker
to the projector.
7. The power supply should be easily acces-
sible.
8. When installing the laser mount it with
a minimum distance of 15 cm from walls
and objects.
9. For safe setup e.g. on walls or ceilings
please use a safety cord. The safety cord
should be able to withstand tenfold the
weight of the device. Please follow the
accident prevention regulations of pro-
fessional associations and/or comparable
regulations for accident prevention.
10. If the device has been exposed to great
temperature changes, do not switch
it on immediately. Condensation water
may damage device.
2. Preliminary warning notices
1. Please use this device only according to these operating instructions.
2. Do not use the device if there are any visible damages on housing, connector panels,
power supplies or power cables.
3. Never look directly into the light source of a laser projector. Danger of blindness!
4. Do not operate the device at high humidity, in the rain or in dusty environments.
5. Protect device against dripping or splashing water. Do not place any liquid lled
containers at the device.
Warranty claim expires with removal of warranty label.

11. Never use dimmer, RC or other electroni-
cally switched sockets. Whenever possib-
le, do not use the laser projector together
with large appliances (especially fog ma-
chines) on the same mains!
12. Ensure sucient ventilation and do not
place the device on any warm or heat ra-
diating surface. Especially the ventilati-
on openings must not be covered!
13. Ensure that device does not get over-
heated. Make sure that the device is not
exposed to spotlights (especially moving
heads). Heat of spotlights could overheat
laser in a little while and leads to a degra-
dation of performance.
4. Working on the device
1. Be sure that the mains plug is not connected to the power sup-
ply while installing or opening the device (e.g. for cleaning).
2. Take o all reecting things like rings, watches etc. before
starting to work with or at the projector.
3. Only use non-reecting tools to work on device.
4. Wear protective clothing (like goggles, gloves etc.) accor-
ding to laser power and wavelength of the laser.
5. Service notes
• Moisture and heat can reduce lifetime of
the laser system dramatically and expires
any warranty claim.
• Quick on/o switching of device can re-
duce durability of the laser diode drama-
tically.
• Avoid concussions during transport.
• To increase durability of your laser,
protect device against overheating:
-Always ensure sucient ventilation.
-Do not face spotlights (especially mo-
ving heads) to the device.
-Check temperature after approx. 30
minutes with each new installation.
If necessary install the projector at a
place with dierent temperature.
-Keep the device dry. Protect it from
moisture, rain and damp.
-Switch o device when it is not nee-
ded. Diodes are switched on and can
wear o even if there is no visible la-
ser output.
• Open the device at regular intervals and
remove any dust, particularly around fans
and laser. Otherwise the risk of overhe-
ating is imminent and will void the war-
ranty.
• If there are traces of fog uid in the pro-
jector, clean it and change the position of
the fog machine.
• The devices of Ecoline, EvoScan and Club-
Series are not meant for professional ap-
plications. After approx. one hour of

• operation, the device should cool down
for about 15 minutes.
• As for troubleshooting, please check the
FAQ on our website www.laserworld.com
• Removal of the warranty label as well
as damages to the device caused by
improper handling, neglect of the sa-
fety instructions and service notes will
void the warranty.

8.1 Selection of Operating Modes
Make sure projector is in operative condition. Remote Lock Plug has to be pluged in. If the
Remote Lock isn‘t connected, you will receive following display:
Attention: In case of receiving this display while laser is running, althougt Remote Lock is
connected, automatic Scan Fail Safety has activated a safety shutdown because of too high
selective power density. If necessary please adjust scanned pattern (enlarge pattern and scan
angle).
If system has been started correctly, you will receive following display:
Current operating mode will be displayed. In this case you see the network mode:„LAN“. After
reboot projector, system activates the last used mode automatically.
By pressing the menu button once, display changes into„Select Mode“:
By pressing buttons UP/DOWN, you can select following modes:
-LAN: Control via Ethernet/network
-ILDA-Input: Control via ILDA standard interface with external ILDA Interface, e.g.
Showeditor or Phoenix Showcontroller
-Autostart: In this menu option pattern no. 255 on the SD card starts automatically.
-Player: In this mode, saved patterns from the SD card can be selected (0-254) by the
UP/DOWN buttons.
-DMX-IN: By DMX all patterns, saved on the SD card, can be selected and each pattern
can be combined with dierent eects.
LAN Mode:
In LAN mode projector can be controlled individual by an separate IP-address. For details ple-
ase read„Network Connection Settings“.
Autostart Mode:
This projector can play-back pre-saved patterns in the Automatic Mode. Ex works there is a 5 -
10-minute show programmed, which starts automatically after„Autostart“ has been selected.
If you wish to show a dierent pattern or show, you can save these by web interface (see web
interface). Transmission speed: approx. 1MB/min.

Important:
It is recommended to save show for Automatic Mode on channel 255. All other channels are
reserved for DMX control. Please restart projector after saving a new show (switch o and on).
ILDA-Input Mode:
If there is a interface (compatible to ILDA) connected to ILDA-IN, device will be controlled by
software installed on your computer. If there is no interface connected to ILDA-IN, the projec-
tor will be controlled by its own program, DMX512.To determine a ILDA interface is connected
with the device, pins 4 and 17 of the ILDA connection have to be analysed. If these pins are
connected, device is controlled by ILDA interface and thereby by computer.

8.2 Image Output Settings:
Menu Item DIRECTION 1
You can set the reection of the laser projection e.g. if you require a projection onto a screen
(front projection or rear projection).
• X/Y Normal: Image will be depicted 1:1 according to the input signal.
• X Inverse: X axis mirroring of the picture

• Y Inverse: Y axis mirroring of the picture
• X/Y Inverse: mirroring of the Image on both axis
Menu Item DIRECTION 2
If you wish to use the projector in an upright position, you can carry out special settings here:
• X/Y Normal: Image will be depicted 1:1 according to input signal.
• X/Y Swap: Image rotates by 90 degrees.
8.3 Picture Size Settings
By menu item „Size“ you can change image size by pressing UP/DOWN button (ne adjust-
ment). For a rough setting hold down the red button while pressing the UP/DOWN buttons
(quick setting). This setting is completely independent of control software. It also works in
Stand-Alone Modes.

8.4 Oset Settings
By Oset settings, the respective image position can be set more precise. You can shape the
shift of the x axis als well as the y axis. Theses settings are completly independent of control
software und work also in Stand-Alone Modes.

8.5 Color settings
By the menu item „COLOR“ settings adjustments of colors can be conducted (multicolor pro-
jectors). If necessary single colors can be switched o completely. Theses settings are complet-
ly independent of control software und also work in Stand-Alone Modes.
Menu option COLOR R : Set red color channel
Menu option COLOR G: Set green color channel
Menu opiton COLOR B: Set blue color channel
Menu option MASTER:
Set brightness (all colors) of projector.
8.6 Display of Operating Hours Counter
The operating hours counter shows runtime of device until now. It is the actual operating time
of the diodes, starting when the device is connected to the mains and the main switch is acti-
vated. Also time of the standby mode is counted (wearout of diodes).
It is normal that our projectors show an inital term up to 10 hours at delivery. This is a result of
extensive tests of quality assurance purposes.
9. Network Connection Settings
System requirements:
• 100MBit network card (100BASE-TX) or faster
• Wireless transmission: at least 54MBits/sec. (only by an external access point)
Factory Settings:
The network card of projector has the static IP address: 192.168.0.100 as a standard.
Connection and Cabling:
Connect projector by a conventional network cable (at least CAT5 recommended) to a PC.
Cross-over-cables are also usable (Auto MDI/MDIX).

Installation on a Windows-PC:
First you habe to install a network connection on your PC.
Select:„Start“->“Settings“->“network connectivity“.
All present network connections will be shown on computer.
Select connection for your network adapter (here: LAN connection).
If there is no connection given, it is recommended to install a new connection by„create a new
connection“. Use the„Help“ funciton of Windows.

Select„Internet Protocol(TCP/IP)“ and click on„Properties“
Select:„Use following IP address“, not„Obtain an IP address automatically“.
It is not appropriate for initial conguration to use AutoIP / DHCP-Mode of the network card.
Enter a IP address e.g. 192.168.0. and a value less than 100 or above than 115, e.g.
192.168.0.116
The rst two network addresses 192.168. are predened by network card.

For third number (subnet) 0 or 1 is selectable. Set this by DIP switch at network card (advanced
users only!).
For fourth number (device address) select on network card a number between 100 and 115.
Don‘t set this value on PC (host) otherwise there is no communication possible.
Set for the subnet mask Subnetzmaske 255.255.255.0.
The values„Default gateway“ and DNS-server-addresses are not relevant.
Summary:
- Computer address: last numeric keypad between 1 - 100 or 115 - 254
- Network address projector between 100 - 115 (see following chapter)
Connection establishment to the laser projector
To create a connection to projector, please open up your web browser and enter the IP address
of network card - by default its 192.168.0.100.
If communication works, following window appears:
Professional users can also create a connection to card by using a PING via control center.
Recognicing laser projector by system may take a few seconds (depending on PC and opera-
ting system). Therefore please wait a few seconds than start a map query .

10. Conguration by Network
ILDA-Player Functions
This laser projector has a player for stand-alone operations. Thus it is possible to play-back
show sequences from the internal SD card by DMX or via web browser. Shows need a ILDA
format (0, 1, 2, 4, or 5). Player conguration and upload of shows take place by web interface.
(also see: Connection establishment to laser projector).
Please select under menu item„Player“ item„Show management“. It is the show management
of the integrated SD card:
All ILDA les, saved on card, are shown in a table. Use input eld to upload les. By„Search“ you
can select a le on your PC. Press„Upload“ to copy the le to the card.
Note:
Uploads via HTTP are very slow (ca. 150KBytes/sec.). Large les (several Megabyte) may take
several minutes. Avoid extremly large show les and use - if possible - only short show sequen-
ces for the player. 10MB need approx. 10 minutes to upload.
After uploading you will nd the new le in the table. To delet les, it is recommended to ac-

tivate the„Delete“-box next to the le and click„Apply“.
Sequence Parameters:
For each show miscellaneous parameters can be set in the table:
DMX Value
Initially rst eld is empty. Put in the number (DMX position), whereby the show can be se-
lected.
Note: The selected number correspond to the fader value (0-255) of fader, which is intended
for show selection. To simplify settings via DMX controller, 2 DMX channels (Fader) are used.
Each channel uses 16 positions multiplied together. Thereby maximally 256 shows can be
used.
Zero should not be used as DMX channel unless it is desired that there is a show output when
all DMX fader are on zero.
Speed pps
For security reasons speed cannot remote-controlled by DMX. Therefore a value has to be
given. By default, it is set to 10kpps.
The ideal value for the output has to be set manual.
Test Output
For testing purposes each show can be started by web interface. To this select„Show“ box and
click„Apply“. Show will start. Thereby set speed and value in„Framerepeat“ are taken as a basis.
Therefore the best possible values can be identied by test playback. To cancel press„Stop“.
Note: Fields will be reset to standard (10 kpps) after show, if a show is not assigned to a DMX
channel (start number). To save speed and frame repeat the show must have a number!
Frame Repeat
By frame repeat the frequency of each frame of a sequence will be set. 1 means once, 2 means
twice etc. Hereby speed of an animation can be controlled. If there are to many repetitions,
animation starks bucking. This value also can be controlled via DMX.
Displaymode
Displaymode controls show output: Select if show shall loop or cancel it (loop/oneshot). Fur-
thermore you can select if the running show will be interrupted by the selection of another
show or if a new selection is only possible after show has nished (interruptable/complete). So
4 options / combinations are possible:
- loop/interruptable
- loop/complete
- oneshot/interruptable
- oneshot/complete

Set mode between Liveshow and Player
In the upper section of the Show Management, mode can be set by NetLase. To control play-
er by DMX select„NetLase starts in Player Mode“. Select„Apply“ take settings. Restart card to
take setting. Setting remains until selection of„NetLase starts in Live-Mode“.
Note: Don‘t forget the switching of the setting. To control NetLase via DMX, without a PC,
player mode has to be activated. Otherwise NetLase cannot react to DMX signals. If„Live“
mode is not selected, NetLase can‘t react to the software of PC (e.g. Phoenix, Mamba, or HE-
Laserscan).
If all les are set in Show management, the wiring of DMX has to be selected.

It is not possible to control the device by ILDA:

-Pins 4 and 17 are not connected by an interface card; please check the manual of
interface card.
-Connection cable don‘t connect these pins. Please use connection cable which con-
nects these pins.
-Use a adapter, which connects the pins 4 and 17
Important Note:
Operate scanners/galvos only by an appropriate speed according to the angle. A too fast
repetition frequency can damage the scan system.

1. Lieferumfang & Hinweise
Bitte prüfen Sie, ob Sie die Lieferung vollständig erhalten haben und die Ware unbeschädigt
ist. Im Lieferumfang enthalten sind:
1 x Laserprojektor 1 x Interlock-Stecker W-DMXTM

1 x Kaltgerätekabel zur Stromversorgung 1 x Bedienungsanleitung
3. Schritte zur Inbetriebnahme, Sicherheitshinweise:
1. Stellen Sie sicher, dass Sie das Gerät mit
der richtigen Spannung betreiben
(siehe Angaben auf dem Gerät bzw. in
dieser Bedienungsanleitung).
2. Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Gerät während
der Installation nicht mit dem Strom-
netz verbunden ist.
3. Der Laser darf nur von technisch versier-
tem Fachpersonal gemäss der im jewei-
ligen Land geltenden Sicherheitsbestim-
mungen installiert werden.
4. Die am Betriebsort geforderten Sicher-
heitsabstände zwischen Gerät und
Publikum, bzw. maximal zulässige Be-
strahlungswerte (MZB), müssen immer
eingehalten werden.
5. In bestimmten Ländern kann zusätzlich
eine Abnahme durch ein technisches
Überwachungsinstitut erforderlich sein.
6. Verbinden Sie einen leicht zugänglichen
Interlock-Stecker bzw. Notausschalter
mitdem Interlockanschluss.
7. Die Stromversorgung zugänglich halten.
8. Halten Sie bei der Installation einen Min-
destabstand von 15 cm zur Wand und an-
deren Objekten ein.
2. Einleitende Warnhinweise
1. Betreiben Sie das Gerät nur gemäß dieser Bedienungsanleitung.
2. Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn sichtbare Beschädigungen am Gehäuse, den An-
schlussfeldern oder vor allem an den Stromversorgungsbuchsen oder -kabeln vorliegen.
3. Niemals direkt in den Strahl des austretenden Lasers blicken. Erblindungsgefahr!
4. Gerät nicht bei hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit, Regen oder in staubiger Umgebung
betreiben.
5. Vor Tropf-/Spritzwasser schützen, keine mit Flüssigkeit gefüllten Gefäße auf dem Gerät
abstellen.
