Bluetooth® Pairing
Keep your hands free and avoid the tangle of wires with
Bluetooth wireless technology. Send contacts and audio
to other devices, connect to accessories, and more!
1. Before you begin, set your Bluetooth accessory into
pairing mode.*
2. From standby mode and with the flip open, press up
on the Directional Key to access the Bluetooth menu.
3. Press to select Paired Devices (1).
4. Press the Left Soft Key for Search. If Bluetooth power
is off, press to turn it on.
5. Press for New Search (1).
6. Select the device and press for Pair, and then
press for Yes (1) to connect to the device.
*Refer to your Bluetooth device’s user manual for information
about initiating pairing mode and the passcode if asked
(typically 0000).
Note: Bluetooth accessories sold separately.

Keep your favorite contacts, applications, categories,
and more close at hand! Create up to 12 menu
shortcuts and access them from the My Menu screen.
1. From standby mode and with the flip open, press
down on the Directional Key to access My Menu.
2. Use the Directional Key to select an unassigned slot,
and then press for Assign.
3. Locate and highlight the item you want, and then
press to assign it to My Menu.
4. To make changes to My Menu, press the Right Soft
Key for Options.
Using My Menu

Want a little privacy, or want to let someone borrow
your phone—with limits? With UX220, you can easily
restrict incoming or outgoing calls and messages.
1. From standby mode and with the flip open,
press , select Settings (9), and then select
Security (3).
2. Enter the lock code (usually the last four digits of
the phone number) and press .
3. Select Restrictions (2), enter the lock code again,
and press .
4. Use the Directional Key to select the category you
wish to restrict, and then press .
5. Select the level of restriction you wish, and then
press .
