CAUTION:

be blocked by placing the product on a

yThe apparatus should not be exposed

objects lled with liquids, such as vases,
should be placed on the apparatus.
yNo naked ame sources, such as lighted
candles, should be placed on the apparatus.
yTo avoid re or electric shock, do not open the
unit. contact to qualied personnel only.
yDo not leave the unit in a place near the
heating appliances or subject to direct
sunlight, moisture, or mechanical shock.
yThe Power Plug is the disconnecting
device. In case of an emergency, the Power
Plug must remain readily accessible.
yTo clean the unit, use a soft, dry cloth. If
the surfaces are extremely dirty, use a
soft cloth lightly moistened with a mild
detergent solution. Do not use strong
solvents such as alcohol, benzine, or
thinner, as these might damage the
surface of the unit.
yDo not use volatile liquids such as
insecticide spray near the unit. Wiping with
strong pressure may damage the surface.
Do not leave rubber or plastic products in
contact with the unit for a long period of
time.
yDo not place the unit over the vehicle’s
air bag. When the air bag deploys, it may
result in injury. Before using in the car, x
the unit.
yDo not use the handsfree function during
driving a car.
yDo not leave the unit on an unstable place
such as high shelves. it may fall down
because of the vibration of the sound.
yDo not use high voltage products around this
product. (ex. Electrical swatter) This product
may malfunction due to electrical shock.

For models using an adapter
Only use the AC adapter supplied with this
device. Do not use a power supply from another
device or another manufacturer. Using any
other power cable or power supply may cause
damage to the device and void your warranty.

the apparatus has been damaged in any
way, such as power-supply cord or plug
is damaged, liquid has been spilled or

Set up
Step 1. Connect the AC
adapter
After connecting the AC adapter, the
Smart Display starts booting.
Then screen turns on
aLG booting logo appears on the
screen.
bGoogle logo appears on the screen.

Step 2. Install "Google
Home" App
Download the Google Home App from
the Google Play or App Store.
Google Home
The Smart Display is not compatible
with the “Smart ThinQ” app. So it can
not be used for setup or for control by
using the “Smart ThinQ” app.
NOTE
Step 3. Set up the
Wi-Fi connection with app
aConnect your smart device to the
Wi-Fi network that you’ll use for
your Smart Display.
In case of iOS devices, it should be
turned on Bluetooth setting on your
smart device.
NOTE
bLaunch the “Google Home” app.
cFollow the steps for Wi-Fi
connection on the app.
You will need a Google Account to use
this app.

dSmart Display is properly connected
to Wi-Fi, main screen will appear.
“Google Home” app is provided by
Google. It might be revised by a change

Step 1. Connect the Wi-Fi
Make sure the Smart Display connects
to Wi-Fi by using “Google Home” app
(Page 9-11).
The Bluetooth connection may not
work properly before connecting
to Wi-Fi.

Important Notice
Resetting
To initialize information of existing
connection, follow these instructions.

Press and hold and button for 10
seconds at the same.
b
Before Smart Display enter reset mode,
pop-up window is displayed on the screen
of Smart Display.
cWhen you select [Yes, do it!], the
Smart Display is reset.
When you reset this Smart Display, it
needs to reconnect Wi-Fi, Bluetooth.
