1.3 AVVERTENZE
• E’ buona norma prima di installare il rilevatore fare un’attenta
valutazione dell’area da proteggere evitando zone cieche
nell’area di rilevazione (mobili, scaffalature, ecc…);
• evitare che oggetti in movimento invadano l’area da
proteggere(tendenestre,ecc…);
• evitare la presenza di animali nell’area protetta;
• Installare il rilevatore su un supporto stabile e privo di
vibrazioni;
• non installare il sensore all’esterno.

1.1 GENERAL FEATURES

1.3 WARNINGS
• It is advisable before installing the detector to make a careful
assessment of the area to be protected avoiding blind spots
in the detection area (furniture, shelving, etc);
• avoid moving objects invade the protected area (curtains
windows, etc);
• avoid the presence of animals in the protected area;
• install the detector on a stable and vibration-free support;
• the detector is not suitable for outdoor installations.

NOTA:
Nel caso la periferica fosse già stata memorizzata si avrà una
segnalazionediversa a secondadellarevisione rmware dalla
centrale stessa:
• selacentralehaunarevisionedirmware1.xxemetteun
suono;
• dalla revisione 2.xx in poi sul display compare la voce
“periferica già presente”.
Se si desidera riportare la periferica alle impostazioni di fabbrica
premere 10 volte il microswitch antisabotaggio.
NOTE:

If you want to return the device to the factory settings, press the
anti-tamper microswitch 10 times.
2. MEMORIZZAZIONE
Prima di installare la periferica procedere alla memorizzazione
seguendo i passi riportati di seguito:
1. impostare la centrale GOLD 869 o il modulo TX/RX GOLD
869 in apprendimento periferiche facendo riferimento al
relativo manuale;
2. aprire il coperchio con lente ed inserire la pila, i LED si
accenderanno in sequenza;
3. premere per tre volte il microswitch antisabotaggio per
inviare la trama di memorizzazione, l'invio viene indicato
dall'accensione del LED rosso;
4. a convalida dell'effettiva memorizzazione del dispositivo in
centrale, sul display viene visualizzato il messaggio della
modicadeiparametri.
2. STORAGE
Before installing the device proceed to storage it by following the
steps below:
1. set the control panel GOLD 869 or TX/RX module GOLD
869 in the learning device by referring to the manual;
2. open the cover lens and insert the battery, the LEDs will
begintoashinsequence;
3. press for three times the tamper microswitch to send the
storage message; sending is indicated by the red LED;
4. asconrmationofthedevicestorageinthecontrolpanel,a
message of the parameters change appears on the display.

3. VERIFICA PORTATA
Primadiinstallareildispositivoconsigliabilevericarelabontàdel
segnale visualizzandone l’intensità direttamente sulla centrale.
Disturbi e condizioni ambientali infatti possono alterarne la qualità;
è consigliato dunque effettuare il test ad una distanza superiore
rispetto a quella effettiva di installazione e interponenendo tutti
gli ostacoli che potrebbero presentarsi durante il normale utilizzo
(es.:chiudereporte,nestre,ecc)
2.1 FUNZIONE SLEEP
Questa funzione pone la periferica in uno stato dormiente a
basso consumo (in cui non trasmette e non rileva) nel caso
debba essere rimossa la centrale per eventuale manutenzione.
La periferica una volta entrata in questa modalità dopo un'ora
si riattiva per un minuto, controllando la presenza della trama
della centrale e, qualora non sia presente, rientra in uno stato
dormientenoall'orasuccessiva.
2.1 SLEEP FUNCTION
This function puts the device in a sleepy low-power state (where
not transmitting and not detecting) in case the control panel
must be removed for maintenance. The device once you enter
this mode after an hour wakes for a minute by controlling the
presence of control panel message and, if not present, falls
againintoasleepystateuntilthenexthour.
3. RANGE CHECKING
Before installing the recommended device verify the quality of
the signal by displaying its intensity directly on the control panel.
Noise and environmental conditions may in fact alter its quality; is
recommended, therefore, carry out the test at a distance greater
than the actual installation one by interposing all obstacles that
may arise during normal use (eg .: close doors, windows, etc)

Nel caso in cui dopo la memorizzazione delle periferiche la cen-
trale venga spenta o nel caso in cui la centrale e periferica siano
fuoriportata,leperifericheentrerannoinmodalità“sleep”alne
di ottimizzarne i consumi. Le periferiche si potranno riattivare in
due modalità:
• manualmente, aprendo e chiudendo il microswitch antisabo-
taggio o pigiando sul tasto di memorizzazione;
• automaticamente, ogni ora dall'attivazione della modalità
“sleep”.

If after the storage of the peripherals the control panel is switched
off or if both the control panel and the peripheral are out of range,
the devices will go into "sleep" mode in order to optimize con-
sumption. The devices can be reactivated in two ways:
• manually by onpening an closing the anti-tamper mi-
croswitch or by pushing the storage button;
• automatically, every hour from the activation of the “sleep”
mode.

If after the storage of the devices, the control panel is switched
off or if both control panel and the peripheral are out of range, it
is recommended the removal of the batteries from the devices in
order to preserve their autonomy.

Nel caso in cui dopo la memorizzazione delle periferiche la cen-
trale venga spenta o nel caso in cui centrale e periferica siano
fuori portata, si raccomanda la rimozione delle pile dalle periferi-
chealnedipreservarel'autonomiadellestesse.
2.2 FUNZIONE DES - DETECTION EVENT STORED
Nel caso in cui la periferica rilevi un evento di allarme in un
periodo in cui non comunica con la centrale (per esempio se
l'ambiente è disturbato) il dato di allarme verrà tenuto in attesa
e comunicato alla centrale non appena la comunicazione viene
ristabilita. La centrale, se il sistema è ancora allarmato, gestirà
l’allarme DES come un allarme normale (uscita sirena, SMS,
ecc). In memoria eventi saranno distinguibili gli allarmi normali
e gli allarmi DES.
2.2 DES FUNCTION - DETECTION EVENT STORED
If the device detects an alarm event at a time when it does
not communicate with the control panel (for example, if the
environment is disturbed), the alarm data will be kept on hold and
communicated to the control panel as soon as communication
is restored. If the system is still armed, the control panel will
handle the DES alarm as a normal alarm (siren output, SMS,,
etc). In events memory, normal alarms and DES alarms can be
distinguished.

ATTENZIONE!
Per evitare allarmi indesiderati, dopo la memorizzazione della
periferica, la funzione tamper è disabilitata no alla chiusura
del microswitch antiapertura. Per attivare la funzione tamper e
garantire un corretto funzionamento dell’impianto completare
l’installazione applicando il coperchio di chiusura.
4 .2 FUNZIONE WIN
L’alimentazione esterna a 12 V WIN (rif. G g. 1) permette di
alimentare direttamente il rilevatore senza ricaricare la pila al litio. In
questo caso il rilevatore rimane sempre attivo (indipendentemente
dallo stato dell'impianto) trasmettendo continuamente in centrale
l'apertura /chiusura della zona. Con questo tipo di alimentazione la
centralepermetteanchedicongurareilrilevatoreperfunzionare
con l’OR delle tecnologie, di lasciare i LED accesi ad ogni rilevazione
e con la microonda non subordinata agli infrarossi.
4 .2 WIN FUNCTION
The WIN 12 V (ref.Gg.1) externalpowersupplyallowstofeed
directly the detector without recharging the lithium battery. In this
case the detector keeps always active (regardless of the system
status) and transmits continuosly to the control panel the opening/
closing of the input. With this kind of power supply, the control
panelalsoallowstocongurethedetectortoworkwithORmode
of the technologies, the LEDs switched ON on every detection and
the microwave unsubordinated to the infrared.
4. INSTALLAZIONE
Seguire quanto riportato per installare il rilevatore sul softto
dell’areadaproteggeretenendopresenteilgracodicopertura
riportato al capitolo 6:
• togliere la copertura ruotandola in senso orario (Opened);
• svitarelevitichetengonossatalaschedaallabase;
• ssarelabasealsofttonelpuntochesidesideraproteggere
tenendo presente l’area di copertura riportata nella relativa
immagine;
• ssarenuovamentelaschedaallabase;
• togliereerimetterelapilaalnediconsentireallaperiferica
di sincronizzarsi nuovamente con la centrale;
• chiudere nuovamente il coperchio.
4.1 ANTIMASCHERAMENTO
Il rilevatore 9506-GOLD-DT/Z è dotato di antimascheramento a
infrarossi attivi per la protezione del sensore piroelettrico, che
genera un segnale di manomissione entro 3 minuti. Per abilita-
re il funzionamento corretto della rilevazione di mascheramento
(Anti-masking), è necessario consentire al rilevatore di studiare
ed analizzare automaticamente le condizioni ambientali dell’a-
rea che deve proteggere. Questa procedura è obbligatoria per
assicurare la corretta segnalazione della condizione di masche-
ramento. La procedura da seguire è la seguente:
• Dopo aver memorizzato correttamente il rilevatore, chiudere
il coperchio ed effettuare tutte le prove di portata necessarie
per il funzionamento desiderato;
• selezionare la sensibilità dell'antimascheramento;
• tenersi fuori dall’area di copertura del rilevatore per circa 4
minutiafnché,durantequestoperiodo,nonvengarilevata
nessunapresenzaevericarechenonvisianooggettinel
raggio di 1 m.
4.1 ANTI-MASKING
The detector 9506-GOLD-DT/Z is equipped with an active IR
anti-masking function to protect the pyroelectric sensor. It gene-
rates a tampering signal within 3 minutes.
To enable the correct operation of the masking detection system
(Anti-masking), the detector must study and analyse the envi-
ronmental conditions of the area to be protected. This procedu-
re is mandatory to ensure the correct signalling of the masking
condition.
Follow the procedure below:
• Once correctly stored the detector, close the lid and run all
theowtestsrequired;
• set the anti-masking sensibility;
• keep out of the detector coverage area for about 4 minutes
so that no presence can be detected during this period and
pay attention that there are no objects within 1 m.
5. IMPOSTAZIONI
Per impostazioni e settaggi della periferica fare riferimento al
manuale della centrale serie GOLD 869.
5. SETTINGS
For device settings refer to the manual of the control panel series
GOLD 869.
ATTENTION!
In order to avoid false alarms, after storing the device, the
tamper function is disabled until the closing of the anti-opening
microswitch. To activate the tamper function and ensure a correct
operation complete the installation by applying the cover.
4. INSTALLATION
Follow what is reported as follows to install the detector on the
ceiling of the area to be protected taking in consideration the
coverage chart in chapter 6:
• remove the cover by turning it clockwise (Opened);
• loosen the screws holding the board on the bottom;
• attach the base to the ceiling at the point you want to protect
keepinginmindthecoverageareaspeciedontheimage;
• xagaintheboardonthebase;
• remove and insert again the battery in order to allow the
device to synchronize itself again with the control panel;
• close again the cover.

7. MANUTENZIONE E VERIFICHE PE-
RIODICHE
Al ne di garantire il corretto funzionamento del dispositivo, è
necessario sostituire la batteria tampone ogni 2 anni
ATTENZIONE! Per rimuovere sporcizie particolar-
mente evidenti NON utilizzare prodotti a base di clo-
ro, prodotti abrasivi oppure alcool.
1. Pulire il coperchio con un panno inumidito con acqua.
2. Ripassare con un panno asciutto.
8. SMALTIMENTO E ROTTAMAZIONE
1. Svitarelevitichetengonossoilcoperchiofrontaleerimuo-
verlo.
2. Scollegare la scheda: sulla morsettiera scollegare tutti i mor-
setti (v. Fig. 3).
3. Dividere le parti in base alla loro tipologia e smaltirle in accor-
do con le leggi vigenti.
ATTENZIONE!
Non disperdere nell’ambiente i componenti ed ogni
altro materiale del prodotto.
Rivolgersi a consorzi abilitati allo smaltimento ed al riciclag-
gio dei materiali.
7. MAINTENANCE AND PERIODIC
CHECKS
In order to ensure the correct work of the device, it is compulso-
ry to replace the battery every 2 years.
IMPORTANT!
Do NOT use chlorine-based or abrasive products
or alcohol to remove particularly noticeable dirt.
1. Clean the lid with a cloth dampened with water.
2. Wipe with a dry cloth.
8. DISPOSAL AND SCRAPPING
1. Unscrew the screws that fasten the front lid and remove
it.
2. Disconnect the board: disconnect all the terminals on the
terminal block (see Fig. 3).
3. Divide the parts by type and dispose of them in accordance
with applicable laws.
IMPORTANT!
Do not dispose of the components or any other
product material in the environment.
Seek the assistance of companies authorised to dispose of
and recycle waste materials.
