Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the Lindy USB 3.0 Enclosure for 5.25”
BD/DVD/CD Drives. This product has been designed to provide
trouble free, reliable operation. It benefits from both a LINDY 2
year warranty and free lifetime technical support. To ensure
correct use, please read this manual carefully and retain it for
future reference.
This enclosure connects a Blu-Ray, DVD or CD drive to a
computer´s USB 3.0 port.

Installation
1. Remove the two retaining screws to release the back plate.
2. Slide the top cover towards the back until it is free of the base.
3. Gently push the top corners of the front insert from inside the
enclosure until the insert is removed.
4. Slide your CD/DVD/BD drive through the front of the
enclosure and
connect the SATA Data and Power cables to your drive. If
using an IDE drive first install the SATA to IDE adapter and
the corresponding internal adapter cables.
5. Position the drive as required and then fix the drive into
position by applying screws through the enclosure’s mounting
slots into your drive.
6. Replace the cover, back plate and retaining screws.
7. Now connect the power supply and the enclosure with the
USB cable to your computer.

Installation
1. Entfernen Sie die beiden Schrauben und die Blende an der
Rückseite.
2. Schieben Sie die obere Gehäusehälfte nach hinten
hinunter.
3. Drücken Sie zum Einbau des CD/DVD/BD-Laufwerkes die
vordere Innenblende von innen vorsichtig nach außen
heraus
4. Schieben Sie das CD/DVD/BD-Laufwerk von vorne in die
Blende hinein und schließen Sie das SATA Power und
Datenkabel am Laufwerk an. Wenn Sie ein IDE/Atapi-
Laufwerk verwenden, montieren Sie den SATA/IDE-
Adapter und verwenden die entsprechenden internen
Adapterkabel.
5. Positionieren Sie das Laufwerk im Gehäuse und schrauben
Sie es mit den beiliegenden Schrauben seitlich fest.
6. Schieben Sie die obere Gehäusehälfte von hinten wieder
auf und schrauben Sie die hintere Blenden mit den beiden
Schrauben fest
7. Schließen Sie nun das Netzteil an. Die Verbindung zum
Computer erfolgt mit einem USB-Kabel.

Installation
1. Retirez les deux vis de maintien, pour détacher le plateau
arrière.
2. Glissez le couvercle du boîtier vers le fond.
3. Poussez avec précaution les coins de la façade vers
l’intérieur du boîtier jusqu’à ce que l’ergot soit retiré.
4. Glissez votre lecteur CD/DVD par la façade du boîtier et
connectez y les câbles d’alim et de données SATA. Si vous
utilisez un lecteur IDE, installez d’abord un adaptateur SATA
vers IDE et les câbles d’alimentation correspondants.
5. Positionnez le lecteur et fixez le avec les vis.
6. Replacez le couvercle et le plateau arrière, et remettez les
2 vis.
7. A présent, connectez l’alimentation puis le boîtier à votre
ordinateur, avec un câble USB.

Installazione
1. Rimuovere le due viti di fissaggio della staffa posteriore
2. Far scorrere la copertura superiore dal retro
3. Spingere con cautela gli angoli del frontalino verso
l'interno dell’alloggiamento fino a quando il perno viene
rimosso
4. Far scorrere il drive CD/DVD/BD e collegare i cavi SATA
dati e alimentazione. Se utilizzate un drive IDE, installate
prima l’adattatore SATA a IDE e il cavo di alimentazione
interno corrispondente.
5. Posizionare il drive e fissarlo con le relative viti nello slot
all’interno dell’alloggiamento
6. Montare di nuovo le varie parti dell’alloggiamento con le
relative viti.
7. Collegare l’alimentazione e collegare l’alloggiamento al
computer tramite cavo USB.
