The Bed/Table Pedestal V2 is used for a table with an OEM-supplied tabletop attached, and then can be
retracted for use as part of a system to create another bed.

This manual provides general instructions. Many variables can change the circumstances of the instructions,
i.e., the degree of difficulty, operation and ability of the individual performing the instructions. This
manual cannot begin to plot out instructions for every possibility, but provides the general instructions,
as necessary, for effectively interfacing with the device, product or system. Failure to correctly follow the

Resources Required
• Fastening hardware
• Tabletop material
• Cordless or electric drill
• Appropriate drive bits
• Tape measure
Installation
1. Place OEM-supplied tabletop material squarely on pedestal base.
2. Use tape measure to make sure the tabletop material is centered on the pedestal base.
3. Secure tabletop to the base with OEM-supplied fasteners appropriate for the material and thickness of
the tabletop.
NOTE: The pedestal base is able to support 75 pounds in the up position.

Operation
Retract the table so the tabletop can function as a base in converting the area to a bed.
NOTE: The tabletop must be supported underneath in order to place a mattress on it to create a bed. The
weight rating is dependent on the support structures used by the OEM.
1. Locate the latch on the side of the assembly (Fig. 2).

2. Move the latch to the side (Fig. 2) and then push down on the tabletop (Fig. 3).
3. The retracted table can now function as a bed base (Fig. 4).
4. To move back to the table position, lift up on tabletop. The latch is spring loaded so it will snap into
place to hold the tabletop when the top is returned to the up position.
