Frooti Cabin bed

Treated properly it should be a faithful servant for years - and we hope you get the same
amount of pleasure from it. Before you do
lplease take a few minutes to read these instructions
lwe suggest you carefully unpack everything, lay it out on a clean, flat floor and identify
everything on the parts list in these instructions. Do not throw away any packaging until
you are sure you have all the parts.
If you have any problems assembling the product please call our customer services on
01985 300588 and we will try and help. If for any reason you wish to return the product, you
must disassemble the product and pack in the original packaging.
Taking care of your product
Your furniture should require no more than a regular dust off with a soft cloth. If the furniture is not
painted then a superior wood polish can be used - but never use polishes containing silicone.
If necessary it can be cleaned with a damp cloth with a mild detergent solution - and then dried with a
lint-free cloth. Never clean with abrasives or chemical cleaners.
Direct sunlight or heat from a radiator can stain, discolour warp or crack furniture.
We know furniture can be heavy but try not to drag furniture across the floor as this can damage it.

The recommended size of the mattress is 191cm x 90cm (6`3” x 3`0)
Periodically check all fittings to ensure that none have come loose.
Keep away from direct sources of heat, such as electric, gas or coal fires.
Do not allow children to Climb on the furniture.
Using this furniture other than for its intended purpose could cause damage to the
structure or serious injury to your child.
The Bed should not be used if any structural part is broken or missing.
If you can manage it, please try to persuade your children not to bounce on the bed.
Warning: The child`s bed should not be placed too close to other furniture or windows,
blind cords, curtain pulls or other strings or cords, and should be placed either tight to
any wall or have a gap of 300mm between the wall and the side of the bed.

Make the units
Pair the parts (see the image)
12 x large cam pins and 4 x wooden dowels
Insert 12 cam pins and dowels into the holes as shown

Orientate the parts and make two carcasses, Left and right
Once the fittings are aligned, tighten the cams and slot the back in place

Fit the carcass centre
4 x large cam pins
Locate the pins into the holes seen on the middle panels.

Fit the middle piece

slot the middle panel onto the cam pins and rotate to tighten
Make the bed (two people)
8 x short bolts 1.5cm, 4 fat screws, 4 x feet and 4 x 3.5cm bolts
Place the carcass roughly in position. Insert 4 x feet into the base of the two bed end
panels.
Now place a bed end at each end of the carcass, use 4 x 3.5cm bolts to bolt the bed end
to the end carcass. Place one siderail on top of the carcass and bolt each bed end to the
siderail. Now connect the rear rail using the remaining bolts. Screw the bed using the 4 x
fat screws.

Fit the hinge plates

Fit the doors leafs

Fix the hinges into the large holes on each door and screw in place.

Fit the doors
Slip the hinges onto the hinge plates (see image) tighten down and adjust.
Rotate the front screw inwards and outwards to adjust the door
Rotate the rear screw to lock the hinge to the hinge plate
Fit the mattress base
34 x 3cm screws
Spread out the mattress base on the bed ensuring that the end slat is tight to the bed
ends. Screw down each bed slat.

Fit the shelf
Insert 4 x studs into the holes seen in the middle of the bed carcass. Gently lower the shelf
onto the studs.
Make the drawer
4 x Small Cams and 4x small cam pins.
Fix 4 small cam pins into the drawer front.
Insert 4 small cams into each drawer side .left and right (see image for orientation)
Gently slide the drawer sides over the cam pins, inserting the drawer base at the same time
(this helps with alignment)
Note: Base edge has a lip that fits into the drawer slot

Make the drawer
4 x 3.5cm screws
Align the drawer back so that the end dowels engage into the holes in each drawer side. Once
aligned, press the two drawer sides together to form the box. Insert 2 x screws into each
drawer side and rotate to tighten.
Now rotate the cams in the drawer sides to secure the parts.

Fit the base and castors
7 x 3.5cm screws, 8 x screws 1cm and 4 x castors
Screw the drawer base down using the 3.5cm screws. Now screw the four castors in place
using the 8 x 1cm screws.

Slide the drawer into the gap under the shelf to complete the assembly.
