Thank you for purchasing POS RDT-150F Series All-in-One system. This terminal offers all the
enhanced features and is easy to connect to various optional devices for optimal performance.
This user manual describes how to setup and connect to user’s terminal.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
In the interest of safety, please observe the following precautions:
POWER REQUIREMENT:
This product is designed to operate on 110~240V AC 50/60Hz in Europe and U.S.A.
Never connect to any outlet or power supply having a different voltage or frequency.
POWER SUPPLY SAFETY NOTICE
Disconnect this terminal from the AC outlet before cleaning. Use only a moistened cloth for
cleaning.
Check the voltage of the power source when connecting the equipment to the power
outlet. Make sure the voltage of the power outlet conforms within voltage range of the
terminal. Failure to comply may cause the electric shock or damage to the terminal. If you
are not sure of the electricity voltage that you are using, contact your local electricity
company.
To avoid electric shocks, disconnect the power cord from the electrical outlet before
relocating the system.
Do not overload electric power outlets to avoid fire or electric shocks.
Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plug.
If the equipment is not used for a long time, disconnect the equipment from the mains to
avoid damage.
Never allow liquid into ventilation openings. This could cause fire or electrical shock.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Keep the User’s Manual for future reference.
Follow the product label instructions.
Lay this terminal on a stable surface when installing. Heavy objects placed on the product
can cause damage or obstruct proper ventilation.
If one of the following situations arises, notify a qualified service technician immediately:
a. The power cord or plug is damaged.
b. Liquid has been split on to the terminal.
c. The terminal has been dropped and damaged.
d. The terminal does not function according to the user manual.
e. The terminal has obvious signs of damage.
Ventilation slots and holes are provided on the sides of this unit. Do not block any
ventilation openings to prevent the equipment from overheat.
Do not place the unit locations with high humidity and dust. They can cause extensive
damage. Avoid places where unit is likely to be exposed to oily fumes and vapors.
Places exposed to direct sunlight, or near heating appliances can attain extremely high
temperatures, which may deform the cabinet, or can become a prime cause of damage.
The operating ambient temperature range is 0°C ~ 40°C (32°F ~ 104°F), and humidity of 10%
- 90%. When using the unit on the system rack, be sure to keep this ambient temperature
inside the range.
Avoid shaky places or hot-springs areas where hydrogen sulfide and acidic ions are likely to
be generated.
When transporting this unit, make sure it is not likely to be subjected to impacts. They can
be a prime cause for damage.

Thank you for purchasing POS RDT-150F Series Terminal. Read this chapter to know
about your POS RDT-150F Series Terminal package contents, outlook and dimensions.
1.1 Package Contents
Before using POS RDT-150F, please check your package contents to ensure that all standard
items have been included. If any of the listed items are missing, please contact your reseller from
where you purchased RDT-150F system terminal for assistance.
The package includes:
1. RDT-150F main system with LCD panel * 1
2. Power adapter with AC power cord * 1
3. Driver CD * 1
4. Jumper * 5
Besides above standard items with POS RDT-150F Series terminal, we also provide MSR, VFD
customer display, 2-in-1 Reader and peripheral accessories as an optional. Please refer to below

1.5 Connector Panel
The connector panel is located at the bottom of the main unit base. Please place the display to 180
degree to reach the connector I/O ports.

2. Hardware Setup
This chapter introduces how to setup and assemble optional accessories for POS
RDT-150F
2.1 Pre-installation Notice
Please read the following notice carefully before you start to setup POS RDT-150F terminal:
1. The POS RDT-150F terminal supports POS Ready 7 , Win 7 and Win8.1 OS.
2. Please do not plug in or unplug any interior devices, such as function card, when powered on.
3. Please do not insert or remove any devices or components from POS RDT-150F terminal when
power is on.
4. For installation and compatibility, please use DDR3L or SO-DIMM RAM which the Maximum
memory support to 8G.
5. The spill proof design of POS RDT-150F conforms to IP-65 standard from front bezel.
2.2 Hardware Assembly
POS RDT-50F terminal supports optional accessories such as MSR, 2-in-1 Reader, VFD, customer 2nd
display… based on customized requirements. This chapter will introduce how to assemble optional
accessories. Soft remind that the system power must be off and disconnect to power supply
during assembling hardware.
2.2-1 Motherboard Introduction
POS RDT-150F is embedded main board which support to adjust power electricity and setup
optional accessories to the device. Please follow the below steps for motherboard setting.
Please position the terminal as below picture shown on the working table with soft protective pad.
Unscrew the metal piece to reach main board.

Important Notice:
The default power electricity for RDT-150F COM port is 0, please follow item 9, 10, 11 intructions
to change the power electricity.

2.2-2 MSR and 2-in-1 Reader Installation
An optional Magnetic Stripe Reader (MSR) or 2-in-1 Reader can be installed on the right side of
RDT-150F Terminal. This chapter will indicate how to install MSR / 2-in-1 Reader on your device.
Before installing, kindly check the package content first.
The MSR package content includes:
1. MSR * 1
2. Screw * 2
The 2-in-1 Card Reader package content includes:
1. 2-in-1 Reader * 1
2. Screw * 2
Install MSR / 2-in-1 Reader for your RDT-150F:
Please turn off the system power.
Please remove RDT-150F cover to find the main board and plug MSR / 2-in-1 reader cable to USB
pin header.
(Please refer to 2.2-1 Motherboard introduction for more info of removing RDT-150F cover)

When plug MSR / 2-in-1 reader cable to USB pin header successfully, please open the below hole
on the right side of device to pull out MSR / 2-in-1 cable.
Assemble the terminal and screws MSR / 2-in-1 Card Reader to the back side of the monitor
MSR / 2-in-1 Reader Integration completed.
