Safety advice:
The Longway Sports „JAGUAR“ Scooter with double suspension system offers a great riding experience: In 3
seconds unfolded and ready to go! The awesome front and rear suspension absorbs impacts and lets you glide
smoothly and comfortable on the streets.
CAUTION, PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!
Use the scooter only on suitable surfaces, which should be smooth, clean and dry.
Always watch out for other people. For your own safety, make sure you wear suitable protective clothing. Never
go without elbow protection and knee protection, as well as helmet.
Before starting
Check all connected elements and/or close-off parts for correct adjustment, such as e.g. the folding system and
the height adjustment of the handlebar.
Riding technique
The scooter is driven by pushing it forwards with the feet. Like with any other children‘s scooter.
The new streamlined geometry makes the scooter easy and safe to steer. High quality PU wheels with precision
bearings glide along smoothly.
The wide, strong and anti-slip-coated deck makes it easy to keep the balance and safe to stand on.
Easy braking
Just pull the brake lever on the handle and/or kick down the flex brake of the rear wheel to slow down.
Nevertheless: Avoid slippery ground.
The scooter is not a vehicle as specified by road traffic regulations! It is suitable for riding on sidewalks. It is
intended for riders for ages of over 7 years. The scooter can be adjusted to different heights through loosening
the handlebar quick release. Don’t make mechanical changes which could impair the safety on your scooter. The
self-locking effect of self-securing nuts and/or varnish can be reduced following repeated loosening and tightening
up of the connector elements. Regular care, maintenance and control checks increase the safety and the service
life of your scooter. The maximum loading is 100 kg. The scooter is a toy and should be used with caution, since
riding the scooter requires a high level of skill. The scooter is not suitable for jumps.
Wheel change
Replacement wheels are available as accessories. To change the wheels, loosen the axle screws with two Allen
keys, and remove the wheel from the axle. You can push the ball bearings out of the wheel with a screw driver or
Allen key and use them in the new wheel. However, it is usual to change the bearings together with the wheels.
Insert the bearings with the spacer back in the new wheel and assemble it with the axle screws on the frame. Pay
attention that the axle is screwed tightly before starting again!
Bearings
Your scooter is equipped with precision bearings, which were filled with lubricating grease under high pressure
during manufacture. For this reason, the wheels run freely and fast only while riding the scooter. The bearings are
maintenance free. If a bearing should fail, it should be replaced completely. Bearings are available as
accessories. The scooter can be folded simply for space-saving safekeeping or transport.
Where to use the scooter
On paths and sidewalks, on free schoolyards outside of school time, on empty parking lots outside of business
hours and of course indoors, in malls and halls. You can ride anywhere without bothering or endangering other
people.
Don’t ride at night or in the dark!
Don’t ride when it is rainy, foggy or thundery, avoid any bad weather circumstance!
