INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing a Lubemate Stainless Steel Rotary Drum Pump. Your stainless steel rotary drum pump with
PTFE vanes has been designed and manufactured to reliably dispense a wide range of fluids such as water based
media, anti-freeze, acids, chemicals, all petroleum based products, lacquers, thinners and Urea/DEF.
The pump is suitable for use on 60-205L metal or plastic drums.

INSTALLATION and USE
1. Assemble the outlet tube to
the pump head.
Note: Use PTFE tape or other
suitable thread sealant.
2. Attach the crank to the
shaft on the pump and tighten
bolt ensuring that the bolt
is aligned correctly into the
depression on the shaft.
5. Insert the pump into the drum.
6. When the suction tube touches the bottom of the drum,
securely screw the bung adaptor onto the drum. Now
tighten the bung adaptor securely to the suction tube.
GENERAL INFORMATION
This self priming pump can pump fluid in reverse
if required .
Please take a few moments to read this manual
before installing, and operating your stainless steel
rotary pump.
Hydrochloric acid, Sulfuric acid etc.

3. Assemble the suction tube
using PTFE tape or other suitable
thread sealant.
4. Slide the bung adaptor onto
the suction tube and tighten at
the appropriate position.

PRIMING
Start rotating the handle until fluid starts flowing from
the outlet spout.
In the unusual event where the pump fails to prime.
Remove the outlet tube and pour about 30mL of the
same type of liquid into the pump outlet, then re-fit the
outlet spout and turn the handle to re-prime the pump.
TROUBLE CAUSE REMEDY
Pump does not
dispense fluid.
1) Pump not able to
create adequate suction.
1) Prime pump. Refer to “Priming”.
2) Pump is sucking in air. 2) Tighten and /or re-seal all
threaded connections.
Fluid leaking from
handle seal.
1) Damaged seal
(check fluid compatibility).
1) Check fluid compatibility with the PTFE,
replace damaged seal.
