Remove the machine from the box and store packing
accessories for future use.
Check the components:
a) Printer
b) Power Supply
c) Power cord
d) Ribbon cartridge
e) Output hopper
f) USB Memory Key

Open the carton box and remove

Fix ribbon from supply
ribbon core to take-up
ribbon core.

Place ribbon in holder cartridge,
ensuring ribbon is located in
housing as shown in 5a

Push the top cover lever and lift the top cover.
Observe the ribbon guides to insert the ribbon
cartridge. The guides for the supply core are red.
The guides for the take-up core are identified in
grey color.

Place the ribbon cartridge. Align the grey take-up core with the grey guides
and slide the cartridge inside the printer.

Ensure ribbon cartridge is placed correctly and close the top cover.

Open the front card feeder door and remove the
protective piece of carton.

Place the reject card tray to the rear
end of the printer.

Connect the AC power supply and
power ON the printer.

Connect the memory stick to a computer and install the
driver. Connect the printer to the computer using the USB
cable when instructed during driver installation.
Open the top cover and adjust the card thickness lever to the
appropriate card thickness and close the top cover.
