WARNING:
1) This machine is a precision instrument. Do not drop it or subject it to
physical shock.
2) Do not lubricate the motor and bearings, they are maintenance-free.
3) Do not use the machine over 12 volts DC.
4) Do not use cleaners containing solvents to clean the body of the
machine, do not use spray cleaners directly on the machine. To clean
the machine wipe it with a well-wrung wet cloth or clean wipes.
5) Do not autoclave, do not ultrasonic clean.
6) Use a Power Unit with not more than 2 Ampere and do not
exceed 12 volts.

SKIN 2 is a new conception rotary machine for tat-
tooing. The main innovations are:
2 INTRODUCTION
GIVE adjustment of needle throw and its intensity.
You have the possibility to adjust the strength of
the needle throw (GIVE). This adjustment allows to
set the machine “harder” adapted for lining or
“softer” adapted for colouring, lling and shading.
The adjustment notches on the cap of the GIVE
allow intermediate set ups.
Tightening bar.
No more rubber bands
are needed for needle bar
adjustment.
ATTENTION, tighten it lightly
and don’t push more than
necessary, don’t apply too
much pressure to the needle
bar.

RCA Connection.
In addition to the traditional
clip-cord connection, the SKIN 2
is provided with a RCA
connection. The RCA connection
ensures a current ow much more
stable.
Adjustment of needle excursion.
Following replacement excenters
for needle excursion adjustment are
available: 3,7mm (serial excenter),
2,6 - 4,5 - 5,5 mm (replacement
excenters are available separately).
Lightweight, silent, vibrations are reduced to a minimum.
Thanks to the Swiss Motor DC-Micromotors, high quality
ball-bearings and the ultra-light materials used, the SKIN 2
is lightweight, silent and the vibrations are reduced to a
minimum.

Youhavethepossibilitytoadjustthestrength
oftheneedlethrow(GIVE).Thisadjustment
allowstosetthemachine“harder”adaptedfor
liningor“softer”adaptedforcolouring,lling
andshading.Theadjustmentnotchesonthe
capoftheGIVEallowintermediatesetups.
N.B. The machine comes with Liner Setting, the adjustment screw
is tightened completely and the smallest notch on the cap matches
with the reference notch on the machine frame. It is recommended
to not fully tighten the screw GIVE but leave always 2 or 3
notches unscrewed and put there the smallest notch on the cap.
If the machine does not run the screw GIVE is too tightened,
unscrew a little bit.
GIVE adjustment screw of needle intensity
Shader Setting (soft)
By turning the cap anti-clockwise, the adjustment screw of the needle throw
GIVE is loosened and the setting becomes softer, more you loosen the screw,
more the machine setting becomes SOFTER. It is possible to loosen the screw
up to 2 complete rotations (2 times 360°). N. B. Never loosen the screw more
than 2 complete rotations or the mechanism will disassemble.
Liner Setting (hard)
By turning the cap clockwise, the adjustment screw of the needle throw GIVE
is tightened and the setting becomes harder, more you x the screw, more the
machine setting becomes HARDER. ATTENTION: Do not overtighten, do not
force to screw over the limit.

Thisinnovationallowstoadjustthebartensionwithoutusingrubber
bands.Attention:placethetighteningbarslightlyontotheneedle
bar,itissufcientoncethesmallwheelbeginstorotate.Avoidan
excessivepressureontheneedlebar.

New Skin 2 model R2 do not require lubrication. To find out
if your Skin 2 is a model R2 check on the box labeled R2.
Every80/100hoursofuselubricatethepistonusingVASELINE,alubricating
creammadeofpureparafnformachineutensils.Forlubricationpushdown
thepiston,passthroughthecoiloftheneedlebarpin,applyathinlayeronto
thepin(above)andpiston(below)usingasmallhexwrench.Lubricatealsoin
frontandbehindthepistonwhereitjoinsthepistonrod.Donotapplytoomuch
lubricant,asmallquantityissufcient.Turnonthemachine,regulatethepower
unitto11voltandrunthemachineforafewminutesinorderthatthelubricate
isdistributedtothewholepiston.

Assembling / Disassembling
of excenter and piston rod.
Toremovetheexcenterfromthemotorandthe
pistonrodfromthepiston,youneedhexwrenches
forM0.9andM1.3screws.Loosengentlytheset
screwwhichxesthepistonrodontheexcenter,
removeconnectingplug,rotatethepistonrodon
theside,unscrewthescrewthatxestheexcenter
tothemotorhousingandremoveexcenter.
Toremovethepistonrod,pushdownthepiston,
unscrewthescrewthatxesthepistonrodtothe
pistonandnallyremovethepistonrodfromthe
piston.Forassemblinginversetheoperation.
ATTENTION:
1.Donottightenthescrewstoomuchasyoumightstripthethreads!
2.Tomountthepistonrodontothepistontightthescrewcompletely,thenturnbackhalf
rotationtherewithaslidingmovementofthepistonrodonthepistonisgiven.
Alignment of the piston rodLoosenthescrewthatxesthepistonrodontothe
excenter.Switchonthemachineforafewsecondsinorderthatthepistonrodcanbe
aligned.Fixthescrewthatxesthepistonrodontotheexcenter.Donottightenthescrew
toomuchasyoumightstripthethreads.
Disassembling of the piston
Afterhavingremovedthepistonrodfromthepiston,removethecapoftheGIVE,
loosentheGIVEscrewcompletely.Loosenthesetscrewthatxestheneedlebar
pinontothepiston.Removethepistonfromabovepayingattentionthatthe
springdoesn’tgetlost.
Assembling of the piston
Putthespringofthepistonintoitspositionoftheframe.
Insertthepistonaligningthespringwithitslocationon
thepiston.Inserttheneedlebarpinintothepiston,the
distancebetweenpinandframeshouldbe0,1mmin
ordertoavoidfrictionandnoiseduringtheuse.Screw
thesetscrewthatxesthepinontothepiston.Insertthe
GIVEspringandtightentheGIVEscrewcompletely.Mountthecap.

professionaltattooartistsinanappropriateenvironmentusingsterileneedlesand
tubesaccordingtotherequestedregulationsofthisactivity.Keepyourmachineclean
andlubricated.Coverthemachinewiththeappropriateprotectivecovers.Cleanthe
machineaftereveryuse.Donotdropthemachineastheimpactmightdamageit.
Donotconnectclip-cordandRCAtogether.Donotuseapowerunitthatexceedsthe
thermallimitof0.35ampereotherwisethemotorwilloverheat.Donotusemorethan
14volts!
