UNPACKING
The shipment should be thoroughly inspected as
soon as it is received. The signed “bill of lad-
ing” is acknowledgement by the carrier of receipt
in good condition of shipment covered by our
invoice. For your own protection, if any of the
goods called for on the bill of lading are shorted
or damaged, do not accept them until the carrier
makes a notation on the freight bill of the shorted
or damaged goods.
Notify MAXXHAUL immediately if any hidden
loss or damage is discovered after receipt.

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Read and understand all
safety warnings and in-
structions. Failure to follow the warnings
and instructions may result in serious injury
or death. Save all warnings and instructions
for future reference.
2. Personal and Work Area Safety
A. Always wear ANSI approved
safety goggles.
B. Always wear hearing protec-
tection when working in
noisy environments. Prolonged exposure
to high intensity noise can cause hearing
loss.
C. Use safety equipment. Safe-
ty shoes, hard hat and work
gloves must be used for applicable condi-
tions.

D. Dress appropriately. Never wear loose
tting clothing or jewelry when working.
Contain long hair, and keep hair, clothing
and gloves away from moving parts.
E. Use common sense when working.
Stay alert and concentrate when setting up
and using the Truck Bag. Never work while
under the inuence of alcohol, drugs or
medications.

F. While setting up and when loading/un-
loading the Truck Bag, keep work area clean
and well lighted. Keep spectators and chil-
dren out of the work area.
3. Use of the Truck Bag
A. Do not modify the Truck Bag and do not
use this product for purposes that it was not
designed for. Never reverse the Truck Bag
(do not turn Truck Bag inside-out).
B. This product is designed to pack
and travel with light duty cargo and soft
goods. Never include ammable liquids
in the Truck Bag.
C. Be aware of the danger of “dynamic
loading”. This situation arises when a load
is dropped onto or thrown into the Truck
Bag, resulting in a short term excessive load.
Dynamic loading can result in damage and
failure of the Truck Bag, damage to the ve-
hicle and personal injury to the person load-
ing the Truck Bag.
D. Never load people or animals into the
Truck Bag. Keep children and spectators
away when loading, unloading and using
this product.
E. Adhere to all Department of Transporta-
tion (D.O.T.) requirements when using this
product. Always use all of the bungee cords
included to securely hold the Truck Bag in
place.
F. For the vehicle that will support the Truck
Bag, read all pertinent vehicle instructions
and warnings provided in the owner’s manu-
al. Make sure that the vehicle has appropri-
ate anchor points on the upper areas of the
bed so that the Truck Bag can be properly
secured. Do not exceed the vehicle’s rated
bed capacity. The vehicle must be in a safe
location, away from trac, when loading or
unloading.
G. The Truck Bag is water resistant.
Water sensitive items and valuables should
be sealed in waterproof plastic bags before
placing these items in the Truck Bag.
Protect the Truck Bag from adverse weather
conditions.
H. Sharp items must be wrapped and se-
cured so that they will not puncture and
damage the Truck Bag.
I. This product will re-
quire set-up in the bed portion of the truck.
An assistant may be required to assist in the
set-up, and loading/unloading of the Truck
Bag. Depending on the size of the vehicle,
use of a stool or ladder may be required.
Use extreme caution when using a stool or
ladder to prevent accidents. If you are not
experienced or capable of doing this type of
set-up, the Truck Bag should be set-up by a
qualied service technician.
J. Make sure the vehicle’s engine is OFF,
with parking brake set, before loading or un-
loading the Truck Bag. The Truck Bag must
t within the bed of the truck, without over-
hanging the sides of the bed. Never attempt
to carry a load that is wider that the vehicle.

make sure Truck Bag is not near vehicle’s
exhaust pipes.
K. Obey all speed limits and trac laws.
Adhere to all state and local regulations re-
garding loads that extend beyond the con-
guration of the vehicle.
L. Make sure that zipper is closed complete-
ly (with adhesive ap covering zipper), and
all bungee cords are secure, prior to each
trip.
M. Maintain labels and nameplates on the
Truck Bag. They contain important infor-
mation and must always remain readable.

and using this product understand that
common sense and caution are factors
which cannot be built into this product,
and must be supplied by the person(s)
using this product.

tachment or the installation of this prod-
uct. The attachment of this product is
critical and beyond the control of MAXX-
HAUL. It neither guarantees, nor will it be
liable for any damage resulting from the
attachment or improper use of the Truck
Bag. MAXXHAUL is not responsible for
any property damage due to water.
Setting Up the Truck Bag
Always wear ANSI approved
safety goggles.
1. Refer to photo on this page of the Truck-
Bag. This Truck Bag is designed to be set in
the bed of the vehicle.
2. Begin planning for the set-up of the Truck
Bag.
Note the eight durable webbing loops
located on each corner (upper and lower)
of the Truck Bag.
Note the side of Truck Bag with zipper
and ap. This side is always facing back
(towards the back bumper of the truck).
3. With a clean truck bed, place the Truck
Bag in the center of the truck bed. Unzip
the zipper and begin loading the Truck Bag.
Large heavy items should be loaded rst;
nish with lighter items on the top to create a
compact load.
4. Close the zipper and fold down the ap
to cover the zipper. The ap’s self closure
adhesive will hold the ap in place.
5. Using the included bungee cords and the
webbing loops located on each corner (up-
per and lower), begin to secure the Truck
Bag. See photos below.

Note: Vehicle’s tailgate can be lowered to make
for easier loading and unloading of the Truck Bag’s
contents. The tailgate must be raised to vertical
position for traveling on the road.
6. Pass the end of cord attached to large
hook completely through an upper webbing
loop of the Truck Bag (photo above left).
Route large hook around so that small hook
attaches to the bungee cord (photo above
right).

condition and position of the Truck Bag.
12. Maintaining the Truck Bag: Keep the
Truck Bag clean of dirt, grease, harsh chemi-
cals and road salt. Use soap and water and
dry with a clean towel.
Frequently check the condition of the bun-
gee cords and replace the cords if they are
worn or damaged.
13. Children should
never be allowed to play with the Truck Bag.
When the product is not in use, it should be
removed from the vehicle and stored in a
location that can not be reached by children.
No replacement parts are available for this
product.

Limited Warranty
MAXXHAUL warrants to the original retail
purchaser that the product is free of defects
in material and workmanship at the time of
shipment. This Truck Bag is warranteed
for 90 days from the date of purchase. This
warranty is expressly in lieu of all other war-
ranties, express or implied.
Proof of purchase is required for warranty
transactions; a copy of the original invoice
or sales receipt is required.
Note: Bungee Cord
length can be adjusted
by attaching the small
hook to a dierent position on the cord (see
photo below of a shortened bungee cord
connection).
7. With the other end of this rst bungee
cord, attach the large hook to an anchor
point on the upper side of the truck’s bed.
See photo below.
8. Repeat the attachment of the other 3
bungee cords to the upper webbing loops in
a similar fashion.
Note: All 4 bungee cords must be at-
tached to upper webbing loops to insure
a safe connection of the Truck Bag to the
truck bed. Make adjustments to bungee
cords, as needed, to insure that the Truck
Bag is securely held in place.
9. An additional 4 bungee cords (not in-
cluded) may be needed to attach the lower
webbing loops, depending on the position of
the attaching points on the truck bed.
10. Never use the bungee cords to secure
additional items on top of the Truck Bag. All
items must be placed inside the Truck Bag.
11. Make one nal inspection before the trip
begins to be sure Truck Bag is securely con-
nected to the bed of the vehicle. While on
