Disconnect the negative battery
terminal to prevent an accidental
short circuit.

Unclip and remove entire panel sur-
rounding radio and a/c control all the
way over to left side of steering
wheel. (Figure A)

Remove (5) Phillips screws securing
the radio and pocket assembly.

Remove (2) Phillips screws (1 per
side) securing factory pocket to
radio/pocket bracket assembly.

Continue to kit assembly.

KIT ASSEMBLY
Attach the corresponding radio hous-
ing bracket to the double DIN radio
housing using the included carriage
bolts and kep nuts. (Figure A)

Position the factory pocket into the
assembled double DIN radio housing
assembly and secure with the factory
hardware.

KIT ASSEMBLY
Slide the appropriate double DIN
bracket into the trim plate aligning
the holes in the trim plate to the
clips on the bracket. (Figure A)

Slide the double DIN radio unit into
the housing bracket assembly and
secure the unit to the kit using the
screws supplied with the head unit.

Slide the appropriate double DIN
bracket into the trim plate aligning
the holes in the trim plate to the
clips on the bracket.
(Figure A)

Slide the stacked ISO DIN units into
the housing bracket assembly and
secure the unit to the kit using the
screws supplied with the head unit.

Continue to final assembly.

FINAL ASSEMBLY
1
Locate the factory wiring harness in the dash and make the connection as shown.
Metra recomends using the proper mating adapter and making the connections as
shown. (Isolate and individually tape off the ends of any unused wires to prevent
electrical short circuit.)

Re-connect the negative battery terminal and test the unit for proper operation.

Reassemble radio and dash assemblies in reverse order of disassembly.

Make wiring connections using the EIA color code chart shown below and the instructions included with the head
unit. Metra recommends making connections as shown below; Strip, Splice, Solder, Tape. Isolate and individually
tape off ends of any unused wires to prevent electrical short circuit.
