INSTALLATION GUIDE
Thank you for purchasing MICRODIA FlashMover®All-in-1 USB
2.0 Reader. This FlashMover®All-in-1 USB2.0 Card Reader
works with USB enabled Microsoft Windows 2000, XP or above
and Mac OS 10/X and higher systems. This installation guide
contains all the information you need to install your
FlashMover®All-in-1 USB2.0 Card Reader.
For Windows Users
To install the FlashMover®28-in-1 USB2.0 Card Reader on Windows 2000/XP:
1. Plug the card reader into your computer USB port.
2. It is fully Plug-&-Play for Windows 2000/XP, no driver installation needed.
3. A new removable drive is added to your computer after plug in the card reader.
4. Insert flash memory card to access files in your cards.
NOTE: Please check MICRODIA®website, www.microdia.com, for downloading the latest driver.
For Macintosh Users
To install the FlashMover®28-in-1 USB2.0 Card Reader on Mac OS 10.X and above
1. Please go to Mac OS website for upgrading to Mac OS X 10.1.2, then OS X will automatically detects the card
reader.
2. A new removable drive is added to your computer after plug in the card reader.
3. Insert flash memory card to access files in your cards.
NOTE:
- Please check MICRODIA®website, www.microdia.com, for downloading the latest driver.
Please go to Mac website to update the latest version of Mac OS.
Removing your flash memory cards from the FlashMover®28-in-1 USB2.0 Card Reader
To remove the flash memory cards on Windows system
1. Close any files that are opened and reside on the flash memory cards.
2. You can remove your cards safely after the LED stop blinking
To remove the flash memory card on Mac system
1. The flash memory cards must be [EJECTED] or [UN-MOUNTED] by dragging the card’s disk icon in the trash.
CAUTION: Failure to properly [EJECT] the card before removing the card from the card reader could case data
loss or corruption.
OPERATION MANUAL
This operation manual contains all the information you need to
operate your FlashMover®All-in-1 USB2.0 Card Reader.
USING All-in-1 FlashMover®CARD READER
1. Connect All-in-1 FlashMover Card Reader to the
Computer by USB miniB cable 2. Open My Computer - 4 Removable Disks will be
added. It is now ready for reading/writing
3. 4 card slots for most of the Flash Memory Cards on
the market
All-in-1 FlashMover®CARD READER FOR xD-Picture / SMART MEDIA CARD

Smart Media Card
1. After connecting the Card Reader to the computer,
you may insert the Smart Media Card 2. Turn the xD-Picture / Smart Media Card upside
down (e.g. with the pins of the xD-Picture / Smart
Media Card facing upward)
3. Insert the xD-Picture Card into the upper Slot 3
with the card against the left hand side of the slot.
For the Smart Media Card, please insert the card
into the lower Slot 3 with pin facing upward.
NOTE: Each time you only can insert one card.
4. If the xD-Picture / Smart Media Card is inserted
correctly, a LED light on the Card Reader will turn
to red. If not, please remove the Card and repeat
Steps 3.

5. Open My Computer and double click one of the
Removable Disks such as Removable Disk (F:).
NOTE: The Removable Disk Drive may not be (F:). It is
depended on your computer settings.
6. Removable Disk (F:) will be opened and it is ready
to read/write to the xD-Picture / Smart Media
Card. Ensure all operations are completed before
removing the card.
All-in-1 FlashMover®CARD READER FOR Compact FlashTM I/II/MD CARD
Compact FlashTM I / II Card
1. After connecting the Card Reader to the computer,
you may insert Flash Memory Card 2. All-in-1 FlashMover®Card Reader is compatible to
Compact FlashTM I / II and MD Cards
3. Insert the Compact FlashTM I / II / MD Card into
the Slot 1.
NOTE: Arrow sign on the card must be facing to the card
reader.
4. If the Compact FlashTM I / II / MD Card is inserted
correctly, a LED light on the Card Reader will turn
on. If not, please remove the Compact FlashTM I /
II / MD Card and repeat Steps 3.
5. Open My Computer and double click one of the
Removable Disks such as Removable Disk (E:).
NOTE: The Removable Disk Drive may not be (E:). It is
depended on your computer settings.
6. Removable Disk (E:) will be opened and it is ready
to read/write to the Compact FlashTM I / II / MD
Card. Ensure all operations are completed before
removing the card.
All-in-1 FlashMover®CARD READER FOR SDTM / MMCTM / MMCplusTM CARD AND MORE
SDTM, SDHCTM MMCplusTM, MMCTM, MMCplusTM, MMCTM, miniSDTM,
miniSDHCTM, RS-MMCTM & MMCmobileTM (Left to right)
1. After connecting the Card Reader to the
computer, you may insert the Flash Memory
Card
2. All-in-1 FlashMover Card Reader is compatible to
SDTM, SDHCTM (OPTIONAL), miniSDTM, miniSDHCTM
(OPTIONAL), microSDTM*, MMCTM, MMCplusTM, RS-
MMCTM & MMCmobileTM, MMCmicroTM*, etc.
*Adapter needed
7. Insert the SDTM/SDHCTM/MMCplusTM/MMCTM/
MMCplusTM,/MMCTM/RS-MMCTM /MMCmobileTM Card into
the lower Slot 2. For the miniSDTM/ miniSDHCTM
Card, please insert the card into the upper Slot 2
against the left hand side with pin facing
upward.
NOTE: Each time you only can insert one card.
3. If the
SDTM/SDHCTM/miniSDTM/miniSDHCTM/MMCplusTM/
MMCTM/MMCplusTM,/MMCTM/RS-MMCTM/MMCmobileTM Card is
inserted correctly, a LED light on the Card Reader will
turn red. If not, please remove the SDTM/SDHCTM/
miniSDTM/miniSDHCTM/MMCplusTM/MMCTM/MMCplusTM,/MM
CTM/RS-MMCTM/MMCmobileTM Card and repeat Steps 3.
4. Open My Computer and double click one of the
Removable Disks such as Removable Disk (G:).
NOTE: The Removable Disk Drive may not be (G:). It is
depended on your computer settings.
5. Removable Disk (G:) will be opened and it is ready to
read/write to the SDTM/SDHCTM/miniSDTM/miniSDHCTM/
MMCplusTM/MMCTM/MMCplusTM,/MMCTM/RS-
MMCTM/MMCmobileTM Card. Ensure all operations are
completed before removing the Card.
NOTE:
All-in-1 Card Reader is a new version of 28-in-1 Card Reader. It is compatible to the newest card format, SDHCTM and
miniSDHCTM cards based on the SDA 2.00 specification, introduced by the SD Association. This new SDA 2.00 specification
enables SD™ Cards to read capacities from 4.0GB to 32.0GB. This high storage capacity for storing essential digital content
such as high quality photos, videos, music and move.

All-in-1 FlashMover®CARD READER FOR MS/MS PRO/MS DUO/MS PRO DUO CARD
MS, MS PRO, MS DUO & MS PRO DUO
1. After connecting the Card Reader to the computer,
you may insert Flash Memory Card 2. All-in-1 FlashMover®Card Reader is compatible to
MS, MS PRO and MS MG Cards
3. Insert the MS/ MS PRO/MS MG Card into the MS/
MS PRO/MS MG Slot 4.
NOTE: Arrow sign on the card must be facing to the card
reader.
4. If the MS/MS PR/MS MG Card is inserted correctly,
a LED light on the Card Reader will turn on. If not,
please remove the MS / MS PRO / MS MG Card
and repeat Steps 3.
5. Open My Computer and double click one of the
Removable Disks such as Removable Disk (M:).
NOTE: The Removable Disk Drive may not be (M:). It is
depended on your computer settings.
6. Removable Disk (M:) will be opened and it is ready
to read/write to the MS/MS PRO/MS MG Card.
Ensure all operations are completed before
removing the card.
CAUTION!
1. Backup your data before formatting the card as data will be lost.
2. Wait for all operations to be completed before removing the card.
3. The card is designed to fit easily into the system one way only. Do not bend the card or force it into the
slot.
4. Do not touch the connections with your fingers or metal objects.
5. Do not bend or flex the card reader.
(All instructions and handling information should be used in conjunction with the owner’s manuals of your
devices and computer systems.)
** USER ALERT! **
By default, Windows XP or above will format any cards having a capacity greater than 32MB with FAT32 file
system. As most digital cameras can only operate with FAT file system, please select FAT as the file system
when you reformat the card with capacity 2.0GB or below.
For SDHCTM and miniSDHCTM Cards, please select FAT32 as the file system when you reformat the card.
