The operating table is designed to support a patient during surgical procedures.
Using it for other purpose may result in damage or injury.
The operator and the person in charge of the maintenance of this operating table
MUST read this Operating Table Instruction Manual carefully and understand the
contents before operating, inspecting, adjusting, or servicing the table.
Keep this Manual where it is readily accessible for reference by those concerned
in case of need.

Introduction
This Manual is intended to support safe and effective operation of the operating table.
Read this Manual carefully and familiarize yourself thoroughly with its contents (operation,
inspection, adjustment, servicing) before operating the table.
Using the table without following the instructions contained in this Manual may cause a serious
accident.
Safety information in this Manual and on the labels attached to the table is given in the following
three forms for easy and full understanding:

A WARNING notice indicates a situation which can result
in death or serious injury to a person if the notice is
ignored and the table is handled improperly.
A CAUTION notice indicates a situation which can result
in injury to a person and/or damage to property if the
notice is ignored and the table is handled improperly.
Description under this heading gives supplementary
explanation of the functions of the table.
The WARNING and CAUTION notices in this Manual relating to the operation, inspection,
adjustment, or servicing of the table apply in using the table for surgical procedures.
The user is solely responsible for safety if the table is operated,inspected, adjusted, or serviced in
a way not specied in this Manual.
This product is designed to support patients during surgical procedures.
This product has functions to adjust the height of the tabletop and to position a patient’s body.
Both a medical grade AC power source and a battery are available as a power source.
This product must be used in an operating room by doctors, nurses or medical engineers who are
familiar with this product.

Before use
Misuse of the operating table could cause damage, electric shock or re.
Please read carefully before use
- Do not sit or lean on the parts of the table
described in the following gures. Anyone
on the table may fall off or get injured.
WARNING - Before lowering or tilting the table, check if
there are any devices under the table.
If the tabletop comes in contact with such
devices and excessive force is applied to it,
the table may be damaged.
CAUTION
- Do not pull the cords of the control unit or
hand console forcefully.
- Do not subject the control unit or the hand
console to forceful impacts. They may get
damaged.

CAUTION
Patient's body position
- When using accessories to secure a patient's body position, make sure to monitor the condition
of the patient. Improper body position can lead to paralysis or pressure injuries.
- Make sure to attach the provided mattress securely. Improper attachment may cause a patient
to get injured.
- Position a patient's body at least 1 cm away from the side rails. When using the electric scalpel,
they may become hot and if the body touches the rails, it may cause the patient to get burned.
- Do not position a patient with his/her head above the column during a Trendelenburg position or
when sliding the table to the head side. The table will become unbalanced and it may fall over.
- Follow the procedure to position a patient properly.
1. Install the provided mattress to the tabletop.
2. Place a patient on the mattress.
Make sure the patient's head or legs are placed to the edge of the tabletop as described in
the pictures below.
3. Position the table to the purpose.
- Keep your hands away from the gap of the frame
during the operation of the table. Otherwise you
may get injured.
- Do not install the operating table on an uneven oor.
- Do not put a pad under the column base for raising
the table.

When using with a C-arm X-ray machine
- Read any documents or instruction manuals included with the C-arm X-ray machine to fully
understand any inuence that the machine may have on the operation table. The transmission of
X-rays may decrease because of the carbon-made tabletop.
- Make sure the C-arm X-ray machine does not come in contact with the table. Improper installation
may obstruct operations or cause a malfunction.
Allowable load
- Do not exceed the allowable load*.
The table may become inoperable and cause malfunction.
*Lift: 225 kg / Trendelenburg, Lateral tilt: 135 kg
Preventive maintenance and inspection
- Make sure to perform inspection before and after use, and appropriate preventive maintenance
inspection.
The table may not survive its useful life depends on number of years and frequency of use.
- For preventive maintenance inspection, please contact your distributor or us directly.
Cardiac debrillator
Consult manufacturer’s instructions when using high frequency surgical equipment, cardiac
defibrillator and cardiac defibrillator monitors.
Antistatic pathway
When an antistatic pathway is required, the table has to be used on an antistatic oor.
WARNING
Prohibition of disassembling and modication
- Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the table. It may cause a malfunction.
When used together with other medical electrical equipment
- Before using together with other equipment, make sure to check that it is not affected by
electromagnetic interference.
- Electromagnetic interference from other medical electrical equipment may cause malfunction.
When performing CPR, slide the tabletop toward the leg side as far as it will go.
Improper body position may make the table unstable and cause the patient to get injured.

When used together with other medical equipment or accessories
- Before using other devices or accessories, read carefully the instruction manual of the device
and make sure that the operating table will not be affected adversely. Before fitting an accessory
of third party company, make sure to contact your distributor or us. Some accessories cannot be
fitted.
- For hygiene, be sure to use sterile drapes on the areas on this product where the patient comes
into contact with it.
- When using the operating table, make sure to check the positions of other equipment. They may
come in contact with each other during the operation, and may get damaged.
Cleaning and disinfection
- After the table has been used, make sure to perform cleaning and disinfection for the table.
Do not use hydrogen peroxide solution to clean the hand console. Using it may cause
discoloration.
Procedure of cleaning and disinfection
1. Turn off power and remove the power cord from the medical grade wall outlet.
2. Remove the mattress from the table.
3. Wipe the surface, the sides and the back of the mattress with a clean cloth dampened with
disinfectant.
4. In the same way as step 3, wipe the table plate and the side rails as well.
5. Wipe the parts again with a dry cloth within 15 minutes.
Usable disinfectant solutions which we have already conrmed as compatible.

Moving and transportation
- Do not move the table while a patient is on it.
- Follow the procedure below for moving the table.
1. Power off and remove the power cord from medical grade wall outlet.
2. Check if handles and levers are in the xed position, and each section is xed rmly.
3. Unlock a brake to move the table.
4. Before moving the operating table, disinfect the whole operating table in order to prevent
infection.
- Transportation should be carried out with the following conditions met.
1. Disinfect the whole operating table before transportation.
2. Take measures against falling down, like moving down the table to the lowest position.
3. Actuate the brake.
4. Use cushioning materials to prevent damage during transportation.
5. Protect against dust, wind and rain.

- Always follow the local country regulation in disposing the operating table.

CAUTION
THEAUXILIARY SWITCH IS INTENDED TO BE USED WHEN THE CONTROL UNIT IS
DEFECTIVE. USE THE CONTROL UNIT WHENEVER IT IS IN NORMAL CONDITION.
BECAUSE THE AUXILIARY SWITCH HAS NO FUNCTION TO RESTRICT THE OPERATION
OF THE TABLE. THE TABLE MAY BE DAMAGED WHEN IT IS OPERATED WITH THE
AUXILIARY SWITCH.
WHEN OPERATING THE TABLE WITH THE AUXILIARY SWITCH, BE SURE TO WATCH
THE MOVEMENT OF THE TABLETOP CONTINUOUSLY.
IF THE TABLETOP SHOULD TOUCH ANYTHING OR GET DAMAGED IN ANYDURING
THE OPERATION, STOP OPERATING THE TABLE IMMEDIATELY.

NOTE
- If the switch on the control unit is pressed continuously for 3 minutes or more, the operation of the
switch will be stopped.
The stop will continue for about 7 minutes. Operations except for the stopped switch can be done
as usual.
- When is pressed, pilot lamp will be on for 3 seconds.
