Product Specification
Taking a Temperature
•Press and hold the ON/OFF button –the thermometer will be.
•The display will flash Lo and C°/F° to notify you it is ready to take a temperature.
•A beep will sound when the temperature measurement is complete.
•Press the ON/OFF button to power the unit off. (Unit will auto shut off after 10 minutes)
Oral Temperature Reading
•Place the probe tip under the tongue as close as possible to a hear pocket.
•Allow 30 seconds for the reading to be complete. You will hear a beep.
NOTE: Oral temperatures are little higher than external temperatures (about 0.3°C or 32.54°F).
Underarm Temperature Reading
•Wipe the underarm with a dry towel and place the probe tip under the arm so the tip is touching
the skin with the thermometer perpendicular to the body. Put arm across the chest so the probe
tip is covered properly.
NOTE: Underarm temperatures are generally 0.5°C or 32.9°F lower than oral readings.
SUGGESTION: Close armpit at least 5 minutes before temperature taking for a more accurate
measurement.

Rectal Temperature Reading
Apply a water-soluble lubricant to the prove cover. Gently insert the probe (Maximum ½”) into the
rectum.
Approximate measuring time: 20 seconds
NOTE: Please remember that rectal temperature is a little higher than the external temperature (
about 0.5°C or 32.9°F).
Fahrenheit or Celsius
Follow below steps to switch this thermometer between F° and C°. (Default F°)
1. Turn of Thermometer
2. Press and Hold the power button for 2-3 seconds until you see ‘F°’ change to ‘C°’. The icon will blink
in the upper right corner of the display screen.
3. Repeat the process to change the thermometer back to its original Fahrenheit setting.
Replacing the Battery
The battery in your digital thermometer needs to be replaced when TY appears in the lower right
corner of the display. Replace the battery with a 1.55V, LR41 alkaline or SR41 silver oxide type or
equivalent.
To replace the battery,
1. Pull the battery cover away from the unit
2. Remove the battery holder
3. Use a non-metal pointed toll to remove the battery and insert the new battery with the positive
(+) side facing up.
4. Replace the battery holder
5. Carefully slide the battery cover back into place
WARNING: Please properly replace the battery away from small children and heat.
Cleaning Instructions
•Before and after each use, clean the thermometer with a soft cloth and isopropyl alcohol diluted
with water, or wash with COLD soapy water. The unit can be submersed in water or alcohol (for
waterproof model only).
•Do not soak for an extended period time or sterilize by boiling method, gas or steam
autoclaves

•The thermometer should only be used under the supervision of adult. It is not a toy. Please keep out
of reach of children.
•Do not walk, run or talk during temperature measuring.
•Store the unit in the protective case without use.
•Do not store the unit where it will be exposed to direct sunlight, dust or humidity. Avoid extreme
temperatures.
•Dropping or subjecting your thermometer to strong shocks should be avoided.
•Do not attempt to disassemble the unit, except to replace the battery.
•The product has been calibrated by our technician. Please contact Customer Service should you need
further assistance.

the product complete with its original parts & accessories along with a copy of the original purchase, gift or
registry receipt to us. This warranty does not cover damage caused by any tampering, accident, misuse, abuse,
improper maintenance, unauthorized modification, or connection to an improper power supply. There will be
a charge for repair caused for such damage. This warranty excludes all incidental or consequential damages
and any liability other than stated above.
