2 Safety instructions
2.1 General safety
DDANGER!
On boats: If the appliance is powered by the mains, ensure that
the power supply has a residual current circuit breaker.
!WARNING!
Do not operate the device if it is visibly damaged.
This device may only be repaired by qualified personnel.
Improper repairs can lead to considerable hazards.
Persons (including children) whose physical, sensory or mental
capacities or whose lack of experience or knowledge prevent
them from using this product safely should not operate it without
the supervision or instruction of a responsible person.
Electrical devices are not toys.
Always keep and use the device out of the reach of children.
Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the device.
If this device's power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer, customer service or a similarly qualified
person in order to prevent safety hazards.
Do not store any explosive substances such as spray cans with
propellants in the device.

Only connect the device as follows:
– With the DC cable to a DC plug socket in the vehicle (e. g.
cigarette lighter)
– Or with the 230 V connection cable to the 230 V AC mains
supply
Connect the device with the 230 V connection cable to the
230 V AC mains supply.
Check that the voltage specification on the type plate
corresponds to that of the energy supply.
The cooling device is not suitable for transporting caustic
materials or materials containing solvents.
Never pull the plug out of the socket by the cable.
If the cooler is connected to the DC socket: Disconnect the
cooler and other power consuming devices from the battery
before connecting the quick charging device.
If the cooler is connected to the DC socket: Disconnect the
cooler or switch it off when you turn off the engine. Otherwise
you may discharge the battery.
2.2 Operating the device safely
DDANGER!
Do not touch exposed cables with your bare hands. This
especially applies when operating the device with an AC mains
power supply.
!CAUTION!
Before starting the device, ensure that the power supply line
and the plug are dry.

Do not place the device near naked flames or other heat
sources (heaters, direct sunlight, gas ovens etc.).
Danger of overheating!
Ensure at all times that there is sufficient ventilation so that the
heat that arises during operation does not build up. Make sure
that the device is sufficiently far away from walls and other
objects so that the air can circulate.
Ensure that the ventilation slots are not covered.
Do not fill the inner container with ice or fluid.
Never immerse the device in water.
Protect the device and the cable against heat and moisture.

The coolbox is suitable for cooling and freezing foodstuffs. The device is also
suitable for camping.
If you wish to cool medicines, please check if the cooling capacity of the de-
vice is suitable for the medicine in question.
5 Technical description
The coolbox is suitable for use when camping, on a terrace, in the backyard,
or anywhere where a 220-240 V power connection is available. The device
can cool goods down and keep them cool or freeze them.
A maintenance-free refrigerant circuit with compressor provides the cooling.
The extra strong insulation and powerful compressor ensure especially fast
cooling.
You can use the variable thermostat to set the desired temperature.
The lid is sealed continuously and has a magnetic lock.

Food may only be stored in its original packaging or in suitable
containers.
INOTE
Before starting your new cooling device for the first time, you
should clean it inside and outside with a damp cloth for hygienic
reasons (please also refer to the chapter “Cleaning and mainte-
nance” on page 9).
A few water drops may form inside the cooler if it has been cool-
ing for a lengthy period. This is normal because the moisture in
the air condenses to water when the temperature in the cooler
falls. The cooler is not defective. Wipe it out with a dry cloth if
necessary.
6.1 Energy saving tips
Choose a well ventilated installation location which is protected against
direct sunlight.
Allow warm food to cool down first before placing it in the device to keep
cool.
Do not open the cooling device more often than necessary.
Do not leave the cooler unit open for longer than necessary.
6.2 Using the coolbox
ANOTICE! Risk of damage
Do not switch on the device immediately after transporting it.
This could damage the cooling system. Leave the device to
stand for about 30 minutes after transporting, before you switch
it on. This allows the refrigerant to collect again in the
compressor, and the compressor does not run dry.
Ensure that the objects or goods placed in the cooling device
are suitable for cooling to the selected temperature.
Ensure that food or liquids in glass containers are not exces-
sively refrigerated. Liquids expand when they freeze and can
therefore destroy glass containers.

➤Place the coolbox on a firm base.
➤Connect the coolbox to a 220-240 Vwsocket using the connection cable.
➤Open the lid of the control panel (fig. 21, page 3) by pressing down on it.
INOTE
Press down on the lid again to close it.
➤Turn the temperature regulator (fig. 22, page 3) clockwise to the
desired position.
INOTE
The further you turn the regulator towards “MAX”, the lower the
refrigerating temperature.
✓The coolbox starts cooling the interior.
Switching off the coolbox
➤When you stop using the coolbox, turn the temperature regulator
(fig. 22, page 3) anticlockwise to “0” and pull the connection cable from
the socket.
INOTE
You can wind the cable around the two holders on the back of the
device for storage.
7 Cleaning and maintenance
!WARNING!
Always disconnect the device from the mains before you clean and
service it.
ANOTICE! Risk of damage
Never clean the cooler under running water or in dish water.
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or hard objects during
cleaning as these can damage the cooler.
➤Occasionally clean the device interior and exterior with a damp cloth.
➤Make sure that the air inlet and outlet vents on the device are free of any
dust and dirt, so that heat can be released and the device is not damaged.

Die Kühlbox eignet sich zum Kühlen und Tiefkühlen von Lebensmitteln. Das
Gerät ist auch für Camping-Zwecke geeignet.
Falls Sie Medikamente kühlen wollen, überprüfen Sie bitte, ob die Kühlleis-
tung des Gerätes den Anforderungen der jeweiligen Arzneimittel entspricht.

5 Technische Beschreibung
Die Kühlbox ist geeignet für den Einsatz z. B. beim Camping, auf der Terras-
se, im Garten oder an anderen Orten, an denen ein 220-240-V-Netzan-
schluss vorhanden ist. Das Gerät kann Waren abkühlen und kühl halten bzw.
tiefkühlen.
Die Kühlung erfolgt durch einen wartungsfreien Kühlkreislauf mit Kompres-
sor. Die extrastarke Isolierung und der leistungsstarke Kompressor gewähr-
leisten eine besonders schnelle Kühlung.
Über einen Thermostat kann die gewünschte Temperatur stufenlos einge-
stellt werden.
Der Deckel verfügt über eine Rundumdichtung und einen Magnetverschluss.
6 Bedienung
!VORSICHT! Gesundheitsgefahr!
Lebensmittel dürfen nur in Originalverpackungen oder geeigneten
Behältern eingelagert werden.
IHINWEIS
Bevor Sie das neue Kühlgerät in Betrieb nehmen, sollten Sie es
aus hygienischen Gründen innen und außen mit einem feuch-
ten Tuch reinigen (siehe auch Kapitel „Reinigung und Pflege“
auf Seite 17).
Ein paar Wassertropfen können sich im Inneren des Kühl-
gerätes absetzen, wenn es längere Zeit gekühlt hat. Dies ist
normal, weil die Feuchtigkeit in der Luft zu Wassertropfen
kondensiert, wenn die Temperatur im Kühlgerät abkühlt. Das
Kühlgerät ist nicht defekt. Wischen Sie es ggf. mit einem
trockenen Tuch aus.
6.1 Tipps zum Energiesparen
Wählen Sie einen gut belüfteten und vor Sonnenstrahlen geschützten
Einsatzort.
Lassen Sie warme Speisen erst abkühlen, bevor Sie sie im Gerät kühl
halten.
Öffnen Sie das Kühlgerät nicht häufiger als nötig.
Lassen Sie das Kühlgerät nicht länger offen als nötig.

6.2 Kühlbox benutzen
AACHTUNG! Beschädigungsgefahr!
Schalten Sie das Gerät nicht sofort ein, nachdem Sie es trans-
portiert haben. Das Kühlsystem könnte sonst beschädigt wer-
den. Lassen Sie das Gerät nach dem Transport mindestens
30 Minuten stehen, bevor Sie es einschalten. So kann sich das
Kühlmittel wieder im Verdichter sammeln, und der Verdichter
läuft nicht trocken.
Achten Sie darauf, dass sich nur Gegenstände bzw. Waren im
Kühlgerät befinden, die auf die gewählte Temperatur gekühlt
oder werden dürfen.
Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie Getränke oder Speisen in Glas-
behältern nicht zu stark abkühlen. Beim Gefrieren dehnen sich
Getränke oder flüssige Speisen aus. Dadurch können die Glas-
behälter zerstört werden.
➤Stellen Sie die Kühlbox auf eine feste Unterlage.
➤Schließen Sie die Kühlbox mit dem Anschlusskabel an eine 220-240-Vw-
Steckdose an.
➤Öffnen Sie den Deckel des Bedienpanels (Abb. 2.1, Seite 3), indem Sie
darauf drücken.
IHINWEIS
Durch erneutes Drücken wird der Deckel wieder geschlossen.
➤Drehen Sie den Regler (Abb. 2.2, Seite 3) im Uhrzeigersinn in die ge-
wünschte Stellung.
IHINWEIS
Je weiter Sie den Regler in Richtung „MAX“ drehen, desto niedriger
wird die Kühltemperatur.
✓Die Kühlbox startet mit dem Kühlen des Innenraums.

Kühlbox ausschalten
➤Wenn Sie die Kühlbox außer Betrieb nehmen, drehen Sie den Regler
(Abb. 2.2, Seite 3) gegen den Uhrzeigersinn auf „0“ und ziehen Sie das
Anschlusskabel ab.
IHINWEIS
Das Anschlusskabel können Sie zur Aufbewahrung auf die beiden
Halter an der Geräterückseite aufwickeln.
7 Reinigung und Pflege
!WARNUNG!
Trennen Sie vor jeder Reinigung und Pflege das Gerät vom Netz.
AACHTUNG! Beschädigungsgefahr!
Reinigen Sie das Kühlgerät niemals unter fließendem Wasser
oder gar im Spülwasser.
Verwenden Sie zur Reinigung keine scharfen Reinigungsmittel
oder harten Gegenstände, da diese das Kühlgerät beschädigen
können.
➤Reinigen Sie das Gerät innen und außen gelegentlich mit einem feuchten
Tuch.
➤Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Be- und Entlüftungsöffnungen des Geräts frei
von Staub und Verunreinigungen sind, damit die beim Betrieb entstehen-
de Wärme abgeführt werden kann und das Gerät keinen Schaden nimmt.

2 Consignes de sécurité
2.1 Sécurité générale
DDANGER !
Sur les bateaux : veillez à ce que votre alimentation électrique
soit sécurisée par un disjoncteur différentiel si l’appareil est
branché sur le secteur.
!AVERTISSEMENT !
Si l’appareil présente des dégâts visibles, vous ne devez pas le
mettre en service.
Seul un personnel qualifié est habilité à effectuer des répara-
tions sur l’appareil. Toute réparation mal effectuée risque
d’entraîner de graves dangers.
Ne laissez pas des personnes (enfants compris) incapables
d’utiliser le produit de manière sûre, en raison de déficiences
physiques, sensorielles ou mentales ou de leur manque
d’expérience ou de connaissances, utiliser ce produit sans
surveillance.
Les appareils électriques ne sont pas des jouets pour
enfants !
Placez et utilisez l’appareil hors de portée des enfants.
Les enfants doivent être surveillés pour s’assurer qu’ils ne
