1.1 General safety
azDo not operate the device if it is visibly damaged.
zEnsure that the ventilation slots are not covered.
zThis device may only be repaired by qualified personnel. Inade-
quate repairs can lead to considerable hazards.

capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge prevents them
from using the appliance safely should not use this appliance
without initial supervision or instruction by a responsible person.
zElectronic devices are not toys.
Always keep and use the device out of the reach of children.
zChildren must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the device.
zFood may only be stored in its original packaging or in suitable
containers.
zThe cooling device is not suitable for transporting caustic mate-
rials or materials containing solvents.

ezOnly connect the device as follows:
– With the cable supplied (fig. 12, page 3) to the cigarette
lighter in the vehicle or a 12 V plug socket in the vehicle
– Or with the cable supplied (fig. 12, page 3) to the cigarette
lighter in the vehicle or a 24 V plug socket in the vehicle (on-
ly for 12/24)
– Or with the connection cable supplied (fig. 13, page 3) to
the 220–240 V AC mains supply (only for DC/AC).
zDo not pull the plug out of the 12 V, 24 V or 220–240 V socket
by the cable.
zIf the connection cable is damaged, it must be replaced with
the cable of the same type and specifications.
zPull out the connection cable:
– Before cleaning and maintenance
– After use
zOn boats: if the device is powered by the mains, ensure that the
power supply has a ground fault interrupter circuit. Danger of
fatal injuries!
zDisconnect the cooling device and other power consuming de-
vices from the battery before connecting the quick charging de-
vice.
zCheck that the voltage specification on the type plate corre-
sponds to that of the energy supply.
1.2 Operating the device safely
zBefore starting the device, ensure that the power supply line
and the plug are dry.
zDo not place the device near naked flames or other heat sourc-
es (heaters, direct sunlight, gas ovens etc.).
zCaution! Danger of overheating!
Ensure at all times that there is sufficient ventilation so that the
heat that arises during operation does not build up. Make sure
that the device is sufficiently far away from walls and other ob-
jects so that the air can circulate.
zDo not fill the inner container with ice or fluid.
zNever immerse the device in water.
zProtect the device and the cable against heat and moisture.

zDo not touch exposed cables with your bare hands. This espe-
cially applies when operating the device with an AC mains pow-
er supply. Danger of fatal injuries!
zMobicool cannot be held liable for damage resulting from
improper usage or incorrect operation.
2 Intended use
The cooling device is suitable for cooling and warming foodstuffs. There is a
switch to change between heating and cooling modes.
The device is designed for operation on:
zA 12 V DC vehicle-electrics socket of a car (cigarette lighter), boat or
caravan.
zA 24 V DC vehicle-electrics socket of a car (cigarette lighter), boat or
caravan (12/24 V version only).
zA 220–240-V AC mains supply (DC/AC version only)
The appliance may also be used for camping use. The appliance shall not to
be exposed to rain. The appliance shall not to be exposed to rain. It can be
used as a box or cupboard.
aCaution!
If you wish to cool medicines, please check if the cooling capacity
of the device is suitable for the medicine in question.
An integrated battery monitor can be switched on to protect your vehicle bat-
tery from discharging to dangerously low levels (see “Using the battery mon-
itor” on page 12).

4 Technical description
The cooler is suitable for mobile use. You can cool products to a maximum
of 20 °C under the ambient temperature or warm them to a maximum of
65 °C.
The device has an integrated mains adapter with a priority circuit. The device
switches automatically to mains operation when the device is connected to a
220–240 V AC mains supply even if the 12 V or 24 V connection cable is still
connected.
A grid divider can be used to separate foodstuffs, e.g. bottles and fruit.
A single drinks bottle can be removed via the bottle hatch.
The W35 has two wheels and a multi-function handle so that it can be pulled
along. Alternatively, you can carry with two hands.
Its cooling system is a non-wearing and CFC-free Peltier cooling, the heat is
discharged by a fan.

4.1 Description of the device
Your cooler consists of the following parts:

The cooler is switched on and off via an operating panel with a cover
(fig. 23, page 4). The operating displays are visible at all times.

Before starting your new cooling device for the first time, you
should clean it inside and outside with a damp cloth for hygienic
reasons (please also refer to the “Cleaning and maintenance”
chapter on page 13).
5.1 Energy saving tips
zChoose a well ventilated installation location which is protected against di-
rect sunlight.
zAllow warm food to cool down first before placing it in the device to keep
cool.
zDo not open the cooling device more often than necessary.
zRemove individual drinks bottles through the bottle hatch (fig. 24,
page 4).
zDo not leave the lid or door open for longer than necessary.
5.2 Using the cooler
INote
Like every cooling device, your cooler must be properly ventilated
so that any heat created can dissipate. Otherwise proper function-
ing cannot be ensured.

➤Plug the 12 V connection cable (fig. 12, page 3) in into the DC socket
(fig. 16, page 3) and connect it to the cigarette lighter or a 12 V plug
socket in the vehicle.

➤Plug the 24 V cord (fig. 12, page 3) (12/24-V version only) into the DC
socket (fig. 36, page 4) and connect it to the cigarette lighter or a 24 V
socket in the vehicle.

➤Plug the 220–240 V connection cable (fig. 13, page 3) (only for DC/
AC) into the AC voltage socket (fig. 37, page 4) and connect it to the
220–240 V AC mains supply.
Switch the battery monitor (fig. 32, page 4) to “OFF”.
➤Push the switch (fig. 31, page 4) on the operating panel to “HOT” (Heat-
ing) or “COLD” (Cooling) to switch on the cooler.

Close the box tightly by pushing down the lid.

Ensure that the objects placed in the cooler are suitable for cooling/
warming to the selected temperature.

5.3 Using the battery monitor
aCaution!
If you have connected your cooler to the 220–240 V AC mains
supply, switch the battery monitor off.
The battery monitor protects your vehicle battery against discharging too
much when the device is connected to the on-board 12 V or 24 V supply.
➤Push the switch (fig. 32, page 4) on the operating panel to “ON” to
switch on the battery monitor.
✓The red LED (fig. 33, page 4) on the operating panel displays the status
of the battery monitor:
➤Push the switch (fig. 32, page 4) on the operating panel to “OFF” to
switch off the battery monitor.
5.4 Connecting to a cigarette lighter
INote
If you connect the device to the cigarette lighter of your vehicle, re-
member that the ignition must be turned on to supply the device
with power.

eCaution!
Before cleaning the cooler, pull the cable out of the socket or the
cigarette lighter.
aCaution!
Do not clean the cooler under running water or in dish water.
aCaution!
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or hard objects during clean-
ing as these can damage the cooler.
➤Occasionally clean the device interior and exterior with a damp cloth.

ezSchließen Sie das Gerät nur wie folgt an:
– mit dem im Lieferumfang enthaltenen Anschlusskabel
(Abb. 12, Seite 3) an den Zigarettenanzünder oder eine
12-V-Steckdose im Fahrzeug
– oder mit dem im Lieferumfang enthaltenen Anschlusskabel
(Abb. 12, Seite 3) an den Zigarettenanzünder oder eine
24-V-Steckdose im Fahrzeug (nur 12/24-V-Ausführung)
– oder mit dem im Lieferumfang enthaltenen Anschlusskabel
(Abb. 13, Seite 3) an das 220–240-V-Wechselstromnetz
(nur DC/AC-Ausführung).
zZiehen Sie den Stecker nie am Anschlusskabel aus der 12-V-
bzw. 24-V-Steckdose oder der 220–240-V-Steckdose.
zWenn das Anschlusskabel beschädigt ist, müssen Sie es durch
ein Kabel desselben Typs und derselben Spezifikation erset-
zen.
zZiehen Sie das Anschlusskabel
– vor jeder Reinigung und Pflege
– nach jedem Gebrauch
zBei Booten: Sorgen Sie bei Netzbetrieb unbedingt dafür, dass
Ihre Stromversorgung über einen FI-Schalter abgesichert ist!

zKlemmen Sie Ihr Kühlgerät und andere Verbraucher von der
Batterie ab, bevor Sie ein Schnellladegerät anschließen!
zVergleichen Sie die Spannungsangabe auf dem Typenschild
mit der vorhandenen Energieversorgung.
1.2 Sicherheit beim Betrieb des Gerätes
azAchten Sie vor der Inbetriebnahme darauf, dass Zuleitung und
Stecker trocken sind.
zStellen Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von offenen Flammen
oder anderen Wärmequellen (Heizung, starke Sonneneinstrah-
lung, Gasöfen usw.) ab.

zAchtung Überhitzungsgefahr!
Achten Sie stets darauf, dass beim Betrieb entstehende Wärme
ausreichend abgeführt werden kann. Sorgen Sie dafür, dass
das Gerät in ausreichendem Abstand zu Wänden oder Gegen-
ständen steht, sodass die Luft zirkulieren kann.
zFüllen Sie keine Flüssigkeiten oder Eis in den Innenbehälter.
zTauchen Sie das Gerät nie in Wasser.
zSchützen Sie das Gerät und die Kabel vor Hitze und Nässe.
zFassen Sie nie mit bloßen Händen an blanke Leitungen. Dies
gilt vor allem beim Betrieb am Wechselstromnetz: Lebens-
gefahr!
zDer Hersteller haftet nicht für Schäden, die durch nicht
bestimmungsgemäßen Gebrauch oder falsche Bedienung
verursacht werden.
2 Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
Das Kühlgerät eignet sich zum Kühlen und Wärmen von Lebensmitteln. Mit
einem Schalter kann zwischen dem Heizbetrieb und dem Kühlbetrieb ge-
wechselt werden.
Das Gerät ist ausgelegt für den Betrieb an:
zeiner 12-V-DC-Bordnetzsteckdose eines Autos (Zigarettenanzünder),
Boots oder Wohnmobils
zeiner 24-V-DC-Bordnetzsteckdose eines Autos (Zigarettenanzünder),
Boots oder Wohnmobils (nur 12/24-V-Ausführung)
zan einem 220–240-V-Wechselstromnetz (nur DC/AC-Ausführung)
Das Gerät ist auch für Camping-Zwecke geeignet. Das Gerät darf keinem
Regen ausgesetzt werden. Es kann als Box oder als Schrank genutzt
werden.
aAchtung!
Falls Sie Medikamente kühlen wollen, überprüfen Sie bitte, ob die
Kühlleistung des Gerätes den Anforderungen der jeweiligen Arz-
neimittel entspricht.
Ein im Gerät integrierter zuschaltbarer Batteriewächter schützt Ihre Fahr-
zeugbatterie vor zu tiefer Entladung (siehe Kapitel „Batteriewächter verwen-
den“ auf Seite 22).

4 Technische Beschreibung
Die Kühlbox ist für den mobilen Einsatz geeignet. Sie kann Waren bis max.
20 °C unter Umgebungstemperatur abkühlen bzw. kühl halten oder auf max.
65 °C erwärmen bzw. warm halten.
Das Gerät hat ein integriertes Netzteil mit Vorrangschaltung. Dadurch wird
automatisch auf Netzbetrieb umgeschaltet, wenn das Gerät an einem
220– 240-V-Wechselstromnetz angeschlossen ist, auch wenn das 12-V-
bzw. 24-V-Anschlusskabel noch angeschlossen ist.
Durch ein Trenngitter können Lebensmittel getrennt werden, z. B. Flaschen
und Obst. Eine einzelne Getränkeflasche kann über die Flaschenluke ent-
nommen werden.
Das Gerät W35 besitzt zwei Räder und einen Multifunktionsgriff, so dass es
gezogen werden kann. Alternativ kann es mit beiden Händen getragen wer-
den.
Die Kühlung ist eine verschleiß- und FCKW-freie Peltierkühlung mit Wärme-
abfuhr durch einen Lüfter.

4.1 Gerätebeschreibung
Ihre Kühlbox besteht aus folgenden Teilen:

Die Kühlbox wird über ein abdeckbares Bedienpanel (Abb. 23, Seite 4)
ein- bzw. ausgeschaltet. Die Betriebsanzeigen sind jederzeit sichtbar.

Bevor Sie das neue Kühlgerät in Betrieb nehmen, sollten Sie es
aus hygienischen Gründen innen und außen mit einem feuchten
Tuch reinigen (siehe auch Kapitel „Reinigung und Pflege“ auf

5.1 Tipps zum Energiesparen
zWählen Sie einen gut belüfteten und vor Sonnenstrahlen geschützten
Einsatzort.
zLassen Sie warme Speisen erst abkühlen, bevor Sie sie im Gerät kühl
halten.
zÖffnen Sie das Kühlgerät nicht häufiger als nötig!
zEntnehmen Sie einzelne Getränkeflaschen durch die Flaschenluke
(Abb. 24, Seite 4).
zLassen Sie den Deckel oder die Tür nicht länger offen stehen als nötig!
